Itunes is really making me ANGRY!!!!!!!. This didn't happen on my Windows

So, i download a couple of videos in my Movies folder. I convert them for the ipod into mpeg-4. To add all my videos to my library, i went to File and then clicked on Add to Library and chose the Movies folder. Now, what made me mad was that itunes did not get all of my videos. It left out some of my videos when all the videos were the same file type. So, I clicked on Add to Library again but this time, not only did it still leave out the videos, but it duplicated every videos. So i had two copies of videos. That really just makes me mad. How can i fix this? Help!! THNX

Please help. i want to buy an i touch today but dont think its worth it if i cant put any of my music/apps i already have on it. HELP ME!

Thanks for your response, it is a mail problem, I been sendings filled form PDFs estimates for years from my Mac then yesterday I went from mountain lion to mavericks and the problem started, if I zip or move te files to any other windows or Mac computer it opens fine, the problem is when I attach it to a message in mail it attached the file blank

Recently downloaded Firefox 4. Now when loading it, I get this Java Console Message: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined I click OK and everything works OK, but this didn't happen before.

After updating iTunes to 11.0.1.12 and updating Apple TV to 5.1.1 my Apple TV is no longer picking up my photo library. It just keeps saying "loading library" but never brings the pictures up. This didn't happen with previous versions. Any ideas?

Update on my previous comment. I have solved my issue. Issue was with Windows 7 firewall not operating correctly. I was unable to add itunes to the 'Allow programs to communicate through windows firewall'. Followed the instructions to the foot of the page, restarted PC, normal service resumed on windows firewall, added itunes to list to communicate through firewall. restarted itunes, restarted appletv, success!!!

ITunes install is creating unexpected errors (this has never happened)

Let me just start off by saying, I have been using iTunes for almost four years; I love the program. Recently, my friend left the country about a month and a half ago (he was the computer expert), I have been unable to access iTunes for about a week now based on the following error with Windows Vista: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT, version="8.0.50727.4053:, type="win32,publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e8e3b",processor Architecture="x86". It told me to refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070422.
I am no computer guru, I have no idea what this means or who can fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes over 10 times. Additionally, Apple Mobile Device Support will not uninstall. When I do get iTunes and Quicktime installed it tells me that I am missing CoreAudio.dll, CoreVideo.dll, and CoreAudioToolbox.dll; once again, I am not a computer guru, I have no idea what this means. Please help, I have over 8200 songs downloaded and over 200 videos that I cannot properly access without iTunes. Thank you.

These ones are usually caused by an underlying problem on the PC that can also stop Windows Updates from installing. So my main strategy with them is to try to get the Windows update trouble fixed, which usually clears up the iTunes install trouble +en passant.+
Open your Windows Update and open your Update History. Have Windows Updates been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the failures showing up in your update history. In the small box that comes up, what error code is shown for the Windows Update failures? Is it an 0x80070422 like your iTunes install error, or is it a different code? If they are different error codes, what error codes are you getting for the Windows Update failures?

HT4929 I have 2nd generation I-pod which does not meet requirements for ICloud. However, I was told that after I moved to ICloud if I connected my iPod to my Mac via the USB connection that my calendar and contacts would sync, but this didn't happen.

I have a 2nd generation Ipod and just moved to Icloud. I had been told my an Apple tech that although my contacts and calendar would not sync automatically I could connect the Ipod to my Mac via the USB port and ITunes would sync the calendar. Now I find that this is not happening. I am not happy that I will have to enter/edit calendar and contact info on two devices. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? Thanks.

one more detail, after a restore, when I attempt to reload music to the ipod, if I try and move, say, 20 files, the transfer seems to work as it should but then stalls on the last file. Eventually, the status will change to "Updates Files on (my ipod)" a and suggests the iPod is syncing even though I have the auto sync feature turned off.
This process eventually works itself out, and seems to take longer relative to the number of files I attempt to transfer. Once done, howver, if I try and eject and dismount the iPod, iTunes stalls with the spinning pinwheel and I am warned that the iPod is syncing again with the spinning candy cane status bar. Eventually thisd works itself out and the iPod dismounts from iTunes and the desktop and eventually the iPod is free to disconnect.
Then if I try and play the music I just transfered, the iPod says there is no music loaded.
Ideas?

My add-ons act like they're installed, but don't show up. This didn't happen until after I installed FF4, had lots of trouble with it, and had to go back to FF3.5.5. Suddenly my add-ons don't work. How can I fix this?

I installed FF4 on both my laptop and PC, but I kept getting kicked offline, especially from Facebook. I then uninstalled FF4 and went back to FF3.5.5 (on the PC) and FF 3.6 on the laptop. This solved my connectivity issues, but add-ons are now acting up. No add-ons at all show up on the PC, and only Personas show on the laptop. When I try to install Forecast Fox and Colorful Tabs, I get the "install now" message and the message to restart FF, which I do. When it repaints, the add-ons are just not there. I expect it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what it is. Java is updated. Any pointers? TIA!

Similar thing is happening to a relative.
He upgraded his iPhone 5 and lost his iCloud account and all his email accounts. Major pain in the neck for a senior. And it was not a user error...unless you count the fact that he hit the upgrade button.

As an exchange acct user, why am I copied when I reply to all? This didn't happen until upgraded to 5.

Is anyone having difficulties with reply to all? When I receive a message and reply to all, I am cc'd. It's a pain because it creates an extra email to myself that I just have to delete. It was not happening with my iphone 3GS and began when I purchased the iphone 5. Interestingly, it is only happening with my work email which I use Microsoft Exchange and not my personal email.
Went to Apple Store. They seemed unfamiliar with it and suggested I delete and add my email acct back in. I did this, but it did not solve the problem. Right now, I'm just deleting myself in the cc before I hit sent with reply to all.

While using safari, websites sometimes close off safari. What can I do, this didn't happen in the past

I am having trouble with SAFARI lately. It closes off the whole application while browsing or opening a web page. This never happened in the past and I have no idea what to do to stop it from happening again.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I am new to Mac. This didn't happen in the beginning but now when I download my email, part of the messages coming thru look like something encrypted. They are all capital letter A's inside a square. The small print seems to come thru okay. What do I do!

Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Though actually, you can let go of the Shift key as soon as the status bar shows up on the startup screen below the Apple logo. Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally.
This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode. Any font sets you have created will be gone. Also, all fonts in the three main Fonts folders (System, Library, your user account) will now be active, regardless of their state beforehand.
Since this only clears the user cache files, you then need to perform this step to clear all font cache files. Close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window, hit the return key, enter your admin password at the Password: prompt (nothing displays in the window), and hit the rerturn key again
sudo atsutil databases -remove
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and all user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac.

My thumbnails look fine then when opening or sharing the come blank with either a white screen or a black screen. Not every photo but the majority. This didn't happen until this late rest update to my iOS. Anyone know how to fix this??
