ITunes is restarting when I quit the program, fully updated version with windows 7. Not running any addons at all and has just started doing it. Not to keen on reinstalling windows as I have over 2500 albums and it does not remember them all correctly.

I have been using iTunes for years with no issues but this month I have the program restarting when I exit. I have no addons at all, and nothing has changed at all. I downloaded a few podcasts but deleted them now I have this issue.
Not to keen on reinstalling iTunes as I have over 2500 full albums with a large amount of them covers that I have had to add manually. Also there are some track names / title name issues with my rare audio books that I have bought from overseas.
Any help would be great!

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

HT203353 Safari extensions disappear when I quit the program?
Why do Safari extensions disappear when I quit the program? They are all from the Apple extensions pages. I started manually adding extensions because the Add This bar disappeared when I clicked the extensions off button and I couldn't find it to get it back. I liked Add This because it added an extra bar below the url box with the extensions in color. I tried to add the Pocket extension to Add This with a supposed installer from the web site but it disappeared when I clicked on it and didn't add it. Now when I add extensions from the Apple Safari extensions pages there are just little grey images on buttons beside the url box. I quit Safari at night and the next morning when I start the program the extensions are gone. They were all enabled which appears to be the default. Also want to know if Add This is no longer supported.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to search for an item named "Safari Extensions List". If found, delete it. Quit Keychain Access.
Quit and relaunch Safari. -

I can not open firefox when I leave the program is tells me that firefox is still running and will not open

BoldItalicInsert a link...Because Firefox sucks that way. I have the same problem. Royal pain in the @$$. I have to use the task manager to duck out of it, or you have to w8 & count to 10...lol. Stupid program.

While browsing in Releaselog, I can't open a new Tab from a link(Ctrl left button). It opens in the same Tab and has just started happening this week. All other websites are ok.

Safari crashes when I quit the program
This has been happening for a while now and drives me crazy!
Everytime I close 1 browser window the whole program crashes. It also generates a crash report everytime I quit the whole program.

It has an OK button. When I click it the program opens.
Why is this? How do I get rid of it?
I have tried deleting, downloading the update again, reinstalling it twice. This didn't help.This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I recently updated from Firefox 7 to Firefox 8.
Until version 7 the test framework I use, based on Selenium, was working normally with the browser. Since I updated to version 8 - the framework can't open any browser session. So I had to downgrade to older version to be able to run my tests. But the only older version than 8 was 3.6 - really stable but very, very old one.
So I need to choose to work with any version between 3.6 and 8, excluding 8 for now.
How can this happen from the Firefox site?Nice try, but this url does not work anymore 10 Dec 2011. Are we ever going to have an answer as to why all versions before V8 were dropped off the map back to 3.6? Is 3.6 secure?

I have totally "uninstalled" what I had and then reinstalled the newest
version of itunes. Still......
First, when I click on the itunes icon to load it takes the program anywhere
from two to three minutes to load. None of my other programs take this
long.
When in the itunes program I can be moving around in my library and itunes
when choosing a song or songs, choosing file, edit, etc,. whatever command I
choose it just suddenly stops. I can issue five commands and watch each one
respond in 30 second to two minute intervals. I can issue several commands,
even shutting down, and it will do all but takes several minutes to do so.
My itunes program was working fine when this problem suddenly arose.
TerryClick here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Everytime I go to full-screen mode the photo I am working on is on one space while the filmstrip is on another. Also there is no way to get to the menu on top as it is hidden. When I hit the f key everything goes to black and I have to quite the program. This is the first time I have any problems with Aperture.
I run aperture 3 on OS X 10.7 iMac 27" 2.8GHz i7 16GB.

What I usually do for PDF pages/tabs, is click in the URL/location bar, then F11.<br />
For Flash, if you click on the page outside of the video area/box, F11 should work. -

iTunes 10.5.3 64bitI've had this problem on my Windows XP for years. it's been around, unsolved, or no solutions in these forums.
It keeps reminding me why Apple will never be the primary office computer company. Anyone running a business cannot have software running that will not behave, won't shut down, or behaves without any explanation, and this problem has no explanation, or solution that I can find except to use task manager to kill the process and only use iTunes when I'm expecting to shut down or kill the process. -

My itunes continues to play very faintly after I quit the program. I actually though I was going crazy but it does continue to play after the program has been shut down. Very, very low volume though. I can't pause it or turn it up or down. I do us imatch. Please Help!!!!
Do you have backups of all the data on the startup drive? If not, do nothing else until you've backed up that data, if you still can.

Logic is only sending MIDI signals when I try to quit the program
I'm using an M-Audio Uno to transmit MIDI data from Logic 9 to a drum machine (TR-808 clone) but only when I start to quit the program and am asked if I want to save the project (and have a loop sending data to the machine playing while trying to quit), will I finally get data transmission. The whole setup worked fine several months ago, but I hadn't been using the drum machine slaved to Logic for some time, and now I'm getting this odd problem. Any ideas?
Ah.. then I suspect you just need to go to Logic's prefs/Audio and check CoreAudio...
It has been unchecked somehow...
