ITunes is stuck in a loop "preparing apps to sync" Windows 8.1

I am trying to restore a back up of my iPhone 4s on to a new 5s. The sync application is stuck in an endless loop of "preparng apps to sync." The program quits, starts again and stalls on "preparing apps to sync."

The problem seems to have resolved itself.

Hi,
You may have a corrupt file that is causing this problem.
If you go into song view and add iCloud status column. To do this go to menu > view > view options and tick box.
This will tell you the tracks that have matched, uploaded, purchased, duplicate or inelligible. Those that have an iCloud status of waiting may be the cause of the problem. Try deleting from library but do not move to trash. Update match and let process complete.
If successful try adding them back a small number at a time.

Recogniized by itunes only have summary and photos for tabs in sync window

Bought new imac and after typing in password for atv. The atv shows up under devices but the only tabs at top of sync window is summary and photos no movies,music,tv shows i deautherized old macs itunes before stowing it away

Thanks for quick reply i turned off sharing in itunes pref and checked box to prevent atv from syncing automatically but still just 2 tabs. Should i do a factory restore, time to resync no biggie i will be gone for a while . I did have movies on the atv drive itself from earlier mac

I have an iPhone 6 Plus running 8.1. I have not updated to 8.2 yet. My phone was syncing normally until 7pm lastnight but now it is stuck at Preparing to copy items Step 5 of 5. For background information; I am a DJ and use my phone to screen songs so I regularly sync songs on/off and use iTunes Grouping and Comments to organize tracks. I may listen to songs and sync the phone multiple times a day and this was done without problems on 3/24/15 at least 4 times until after 7pm.
I have done a hard reset on the phone. I have restarted my Macbook Pro, done a Force Quit. I have tried to uncheck Sync Music to remove all music and start over. I let this sit for over an hour with no success. Today (3/25/15) I attempted to update the phone to iOS 8.2 but the computer sits at Contacting update software server and no progress is made. There are multiple posts online with this issue as well.
I did allow some Apps to update yesterday but I do not recall which ones. So, whats the deal?

Watashi mo wakaranai! Each time I reset my iPhone 5 and then I get one go after that to re-sync new data to the unit before having to reset again. This morning I reset and began to start loading everything from scratch again, only to realise this afternoon that the sync had deselected a number of PDF's that I need to access from my iPhone regularly throughout my working week. When I re-ticked those files and asked the sync to resume, iTunes stopped everything and left my iPhone without all its data synced. I have had to asked it to sync a third time now.
Oddly, the amount of space indicated at the bottom of iTunes doesn't seem to relate to the amount of data being loaded in a coherent or reliable fashion, as more space is showing now that when the PDF's were (unbeknownst to me) deselected. Also, even when there is as much as 9GB showing as free on my 64GB unit, iTunes tells me that there is insufficient space available on my unit to sync: This forces me to reset again! It takes more than 24 hours for the iPhone 5 to load 50GB odd of data... I remember when we were told how computers saved us time.

My iPhone/itunes is stuck in a loop.

My itunes rescently stated that my iphone had an error of sorts and needed to be restored. I have restored my Iphone plenty of times now, what happenes is I choose my back up and it restores fine but when my device is detected the only options are to restore it as a new iphone and my back ups, not the regular menu.

Try holding the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down until the Apple logo does not reappear--even if it takes a few minutes. Then try the DFU mode.

If apple app store has an app to sync windows phone with itunes called windows connector, and windows phone and apple are competitors, why doesnt apple make an app for android that syncs itunes without a third party software

Apple didn't create the Windows Phone app (Microsoft). Apple has nothing to do with this, and Google should do an app for this

Itunes will not let me manage my apps to sync to my iphone 3g.

The screen is gray. I can see all of my apps I want to select but it will not let me manually select anything? Anyone no how to fix the problem?

I'm afraid I can't provide you with a solution as I have exactly the same issue. I currently have a fully functional iPhone 3GS but need to transfer my apps to my new iPhone 4S. Its very frustrating and hope to find a solution soon. Hopefully a simple one - my whole life was in the 3GS and I don't want to lose it all.

Creative Cloud for teams stuck in a loop asking to renew subscription (Windows 7 64 Bit)

Good Morning
I have two of my creative cloud users who are being constantly asked to renew the subscription everytime they open one of Adobe's applications. THe subscription is currently active as we paid for the full year and it doesn't expire until March 6th 2015.
I have tried deleting the file from the OOBE folder with no success, I have tried uninviting and then re-inviting the user to creative cloud, I have tried inviting a brand new user and logging in with their details, no joy.
The only thing that works is to login with a trial user account just so we can use the software.
Any suggestions please, Adobe fix your 'Expert 1:1 Support page' it doesn't even load!

ITunes sign in request infinite loop - tried many solutions already and still no success

Hi all,
After updating to iTunes 10.6 I've had a problem where iTunes gets stuck in a loop asking me to sign in to my Apple ID.
I am already signed in and it keeps asking me to sign in to activate Automatic Downloads. I enter the correct password and it simply asks me again. It just keeps going until I click Cancel.
I just subscribed to iTunes Match yesterday as well and it asked me for my password to add my MacBook Pro to iTunes Match. Same problem. It just keeps asking me. So I've now paid for iTunes Match and am unable to use it.
I am not able to add things to or view my Wish List either because it keep asking me to sign in to view or add to it.
I've tried deleting iTunes preferences which made it forget my Apple ID so I could sign in fresh. Same result. I tried signing out, quitting iTunes and signing back in. Same. I even tried restarting my Mac. Nothing.
I've contacted Apple via email but they haven't offered any solution yet. They just directed me to a couple of articles that told me what I already knew about signing in and using iTunes Match.
Any ideas?

Basically, here's what to do...
Quit iTunes and any other open applications until only Finder is open.
Choose Go > Go to Folder.
Type /Users/Shared/SC Info
If Finder is not already set to column view, set it by choosing View > as Columns.
Select the SC Info folder and move it to the Trash by choosing File > Move to Trash.
Restart the computer and open iTunes.
That should do it. Hopefully this helps others.

My Finder keeps coming up with the message "The application "Finder" unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows" and it gives me the option to restore the windows. Whether I chose to restore or not, nothing happens. The screen keeps flashing I can't do anything!

How to prevent iPhone apps to sync with iPad

I have an iPhone and lot of apps on it. All of them are syncing with iPad, but I want to see only HD apps on iPad. So, can I forbid to install iPhone apps on my iPad?

You just click on the iPad while connected to itunes, then click on the apps menu on the iPad in iTunes and you can select deselect which apps are synced. It has a drop down on the apps page to let you sort by date, device type, etc. There is also an option that prevents autosyncing of new apps.

Since I do not use cloud computing for security reasons, I will not be syncing my contacts or calendars between devices. I hope the Apple developers rethink this strategy. Meanwhile I'll figure out a work-around as I have in the past when software has an unfortunate glitch.

Answer your pagers. Answer your phones. Pay attention to the ASAP emails from the systems. iTunes Terms & Conditions page is stuck in a loop. Here I am, trying to spend money, and the system is hosed.
This is the one part of Apple support I find very underwhelming - that it's not possible to get in touch with Apple when it's very obvious there's a serious system problem. FAQs are irrelevant at this point.

Apple, the problem is on YOUR SIDE! It's a problem with Apple servers, not with anything on our side, not with OSX, unless, of course, the Apple servers are running OSX, not with our computers.
It's your problem. The longer it is broken, the less money comes into iTunes. So now you have iTunes customers annoyed. Soon you'll have iTunes developers annoyed.

ITunes keeps prompting me to authorize my computer when I try to play a movie I rented. Then it tells me my computer is already authorized and I'm stuck in a loop. I've tried all the troubleshooting options but no luck.

Connect the device to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode using the instructions in this Apple support document. From there restore it factory defaults.
