Itunes is telling me I have 5 devices linked to my account, but I don't...
Hi Guys,
I just purchased two songs on iTunes at the exact same time on my mac. I can play the first song, but the second says I have to authorize this device. I put in my user and password and it goes through, but claims I have 5 devices already linked but i don't. I checked and there's only my iPhone and iPad linked to my Apple account. I'm just confused as to why one of the two songs I purchased (at the exact same time) is authorized and plays like any other song would... but then the second one isn't authorized and refuses to play on any of my devices.

Open iTunes on your Mac. Go to Store > View Account from iTunes' menu. Sign in. Click "Manage Devices." There you will see the names of the five devices.

AppleID and passcode used to activate the iPad or it will be useless to you.
There is no workaround.
Suggest you try very hard to remember that AppleID and passcode. Did you try the

I used an account from my friend to download some apps. Because i forget my apple ID. Now I have my new apple ID but I don't know how to change it in my ipod touch 4G. Still the name of my friend is in the apps store. How to delate that name and change with my new apple account?

This is if you deleted not only the Mac App Store, but iTunes, Calendar, whatever came with the Mac (Apps that came already installed on the Mac), if you deleted one of those then you have to reinstall the Mac OS, Note: This one is for Mac OS X (Maverick) my version is 10.9.4, go to that link and follow the instructions if you have Mac OS X (Maverick). Other help: Common Mistake: If you delete the app from the dock then just go to finder and applications folder and drag the app back onto the dock(it was just deleted from the dock NOT your system/computer). Hope that helps others who had the same problem.

I have a big problem with my iCloud account. I don`t know why I opened my iCloud account under the different ID than Apple ID. Now i need to delete my iCloud account on my iPhone and create a new one. I cannot delete it because I don`t know the password. How can I solve my problem??

i am trying to sync songs onto my ipod but itunes is telling me i have no more memory because i have 544 songs when i have no contex in my music. how do i solve this?

I recently had to install a new hard drive in my computer. This caused me to have to reload all content back to my iTunes and iPod. I have many apps on my iPod and i don't know how to transfer those back to my iTunes. Can anyone help?
Right clicking on your ipod in the device list an d choosing "transfer purchases" will copy apps and bought media from iTunes to your computer. Due to the new iTunes library on your new HD, iTunes will erase your ipod during the first sync. To save your data to the computer take a look at this article about saving data from your device to a computer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
Basically it's backing up manually, transferring her purchases (apps and bought music), letting iTunes erase the ipod due to the new iTunes library, and restoring from the manual backup again, to get all the data and settings back.
Make sure your new computer account is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

The message remains: You cannot Authorize more than 5 computers while my account overview tells me that there 3 devices registered????
Why is this made so difficult all ?????The number of computers that your account is authorised on and the number of computers and/or devices associated to an account are different things.
The 'manage devices' section of your account shows the computers and/or iOS devices that are associated to your account i.e. tied to it via iTunes Match, automatic downloads and/or redownloading past purchases : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID.
For the computers that are authorised (iOS devices aren't authorised/deauthorised) then have you had other computers in the past and/or updated/reinstalled the OS on your current computer and not deauthorised them ? IniIndividual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you have 2 or more computers authorised then you can log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
There can be a maximum of 10 computers/devices associated to an account - but as a computer also has to be authorised (and there can be at most 5 computers authorised) for it to be able to associated, at most 5 of the 10 can be computers. -
I have formatted my computer and re installed itunes. However, I cannot see my purchased musics/movies/books on my library anymore. I can see my purchased registration on my account, but I don't know how I can do to download it back to my pc. Any ideas?

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Back up all data.
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist. -
