Itunes isn't letting me make a purchase even though I have $25 credit on account.
I put in an Itunes GC I got for Xmas and now I cannot purchase songs. Any help is appreciated.
Please tell me where this question can be answered and I will ask it there. The policy needs to be exposed as serving the benefit of apple and not the community of users.
I know some do not question things and do not attempt to change things. But I am all about change and improvement.
I question the policy and believe it hurts apple users.
They are making us use credit cards to gift purchases for no good reason.

If this was purchased many months ago it may be because Apple changed its security set-up about six months ago at a rough guess. Go to and complete the questions posed at:

My past computer crashed and I am trying to get all my itunes songs back for my new computer, but even though I have downloaded all my past purchases some of them still aren't playing and can't be located. What can I do? It is quite alot of lost songs/ money.....

xI realise there have been a number of threads like this now that I have started looking, the problem is the back-ups i made were saved to a server network which has now also gone down, a case of dreadful luck really. Is there any other way to get the music back?

My Ipod shuffle appears in itunes on mac but not on windows 7 even though we have the latest update of itunes. We have also tried the other solutions on the apple support site.

Just like the title says. I try to make an in-app purchase. It denies me, saying it's unable to connect to the iTunes Store. Then it gives me a contact apple.com/support/iTunes/ww/.

HT1349 Cannot download purchases even though I have storage?
I purchased some movies for a road trip and was told I needed more storage in order to download them all. I purchased more storage, but I am still unable to download them. Any help would be great.
I think that you need more storage space on the iPad. If you purchased more storage space in iCloud, that won't do you any good. Movies are not stored in iCloud.
I think you need to make more space available on the iPad for the movies to download.
The reference to "unpause" means to resume the download process- tap on the icon to resume. But if you need more storage, that isn't going to work anyway - unless I am missing something here. -
ITune App Store lists iPhone apps only. Even though I have an iPad.
I have an iPad. Yet when I look for Apps in the iTunes Store. I get catagories with listings for iPhone Apps not iPad apps. My iPad is synced with this computer. I cannot find a preference anywhere to change this. Help please.
If you are using the App Store on your iPad then there should be 'iPad Apps' and 'iPhone apps' buttons at the top of the screen. If you are on your computer's iTunes then there should be iPhone and iPad buttons at the top of the App Store home page

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

This does not have anything to do with iPhoto - you need the forum for your system or App store support depending on what you are doing and where the error is coming from

The Itunes store constantly asks me to Improve Apple ID Security by adding three secret questions but won't accept my valid password. I have tried to reset the password, update the billing info and it still won't let me make any purchases.
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -

Are you adding or changing your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

Does anyone know how to hook an iPad up to a projector via Wi-Fi. I have found a projector that allows you download the drivers directly from the adaptor without a CD but I do not know if I can do that with an iPad.
