  • My ITunes isn't recognizing any of my devices.

Okay, so I have an Iphone 4s, completely updated (version 7.0.4) and and Ipod touch, 4th gen. updated as much as it can be (
I have had both of the devices plugged into my computer, and itunes has not been recognizing either. My computer recognizes the devices, but itunes does not, so clearly it is not the cord. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ITunes 3 different times, I have restarted my computer multiple times, I have reset my phones settings once, and I have made sure that the Apple Mobile Device services are installed and working properly and the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is also installed. I have ran dignostics on my itunes, and it said nothing is wrong with anything. It is completely up to date as well. NOTHING is working, and I"m not covered for complimentary Apple Support for some weird reason (which I think is SO stupid because I mean I bought your products I should be able to get assistance. Right? Wrong. I'm really hating Apple right now.) Someone please help me out, this is getting so old.

  • Cannot get iTunes 10 to detect any of my devices =(

    Hi There,
I have a really bizarre problem with iTunes that I can't seem to fix.
I work in the IT department for a company that predominantly uses Mac computers.
Currently, this particular problem with iTunes is happening on 2 different MacBook Pro laptops used by 2 different staff members (and both with latest the 10.6.4).
The problem is that iTunes 10 cannot recognise any device plugged into the laptop. I've tried the user's iphone, my iphone and even my ipad and it just won't work. I've tried different USB ports as well (please be mindful that I've done the same tests on both laptops).
I've also scoured the forums in search to uninstall iTunes and remove all necessary files for a complete uninstall. Here's the weird bit, after I do a restart and re-install iTunes from a dmg - it WORKS! Woohoo BUT! after i do another restart of the laptop it goes back to the same problem, it can't detect anything! and I can't believe this is happening on 2 different laptops.
So for the time being, I've advised users that if they want to keep using iTunes they won't be able to restart their computers. Which is a stupid fix, but I don't want to have to keep reinstalling their iTunes every time they boot up in the morning.
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • My itunes won't recognise any of the music that is already stored on my computer or let me sync anything to my new ipod nano!! any ideas??

I recently bought a new ipod nano and when i got it home and connected it to my computer I was told my version of i-tunes was not compatable and I had to un-install it and then download it again.  After I did this 4 times i eventually managed to get itunes to open on my computer and recognise my new ipod.  However after all that hassle my version of itunes now wont recognise any of the music that has already been downloaded onto my computers music files.  I have tried copying the music across and also using the add music to the itunes library command and nothing seems to work!  I really like the ipod but if i had known that itunes was this difficult to work i would have picked a different type of music player!  since i have bought the ipod ive heard nothing but bad things about how difficult and complicated itunes is to work so if anyone has any ideas for how i can fix this problem thatd be great! Thanks
