I have tried manually syncing ipod touch to remove music from ipod and it isn't working. How do I remove music from Ipod?

Ok nvm, i fixed it. Had manual manage music and videos checked off. Whoops!

Transfer the iTunes folder from your old computer to your new computer. It's in your My Music >> iTunes folder. You'll probably need an external hard drive to do this. Make sure you upgrade the old and the new computers to the latest iTunes before transferring your music to the new machines.

just bought iphone 4 today from verizon and had the same problem. this is my 1st smartphone ever. apps all synced when i plugged it in to my computer except the music. this is what i did and it worked. plugged in phone to computer. then under the devices tab i clicked on the music tab. if you look to the bottom right of the itunes page there will be two tabs you can click on. one says settings and the other one says autofill. i clicked on the autofill and then it just started syncing. that was it. i'm not a tech guy by any means. just kinda of got lucky. i hope this helps you out. good luck!

Getting Music off of Ipod Touch

My computer crashed and the hard drive had to be replaced. I foolishly didn't have any of my music backed up. I have all my music and movies still on my Ipod Touch. Is there any way I can get my music off my Ipod, and onto a external drive, so that way I can reload it into ITunes??? I talked to Apple, but they really weren't any help. I'd appreciate any suggestions!

You can transfer purchases from your iPhone and iPod touch to your computer and it will put all music, apps, books, and other purchases or downloads made in iTunes onto your computer. Or you can sign into the iTunes Store in iTunes on your computer and go to Purchases > Not on This Computer > Download all for each tab across the top.
If you have any music that was imported from CDs to your Dad's computer, you'll need to import those to your laptop. When you sync your iPhone, it will erase all the music on your iPhone and replace it with the music in your Music Library. If you have all of the music that's on your iPhone on your computer already (by importing CDs and transferring purchases) you won't lose anything.

I have a new laptop. My iPod touch was synced to itunes on my old laptop. Now that I have my new laptop I can't get the music from my Ipod into the new itunes. I just recently bought some CD's, and I have found that my iTunes program won't let me download them to my iPod. I believe I have a 5th generation iPod Touch, and I have a Windows Vista... I got it in the mail a week ago, and updated it to iOS 7 before I started syncing anything. And I updated iTunes to 11. It syncs all of my apps problem free. And it syncs my photos. But the music is not transfering. My iPod touch 4th gen is working just fine. So what do I have to do to my new iPod to make it work?

You may want to try setting up syncing in iTunes again by following the steps in the article below. If music doesn't seem to be syncing, try un-checking and then re-checking the "Sync music" checkbox in iTunes.

I recently tried switching the computer that my iPod syncs to. At first I got an error that there wasn't enough room on my ipod. I reset my ipod, I restored my ipod, I repaired itunes. Nothing has worked. Yes...the sync music box is checked. I'ved tried both entire library and individual folders. I have 1,485 songs that I'm trying to sync and it has only put 110 on my ipod. These were all on it before and I never had any issues on my other computer.
I'm at a total loss and getting really frustrated! Help please!!!!!!!!
