ITunes isn't showing my tabs, which is making it incredibly difficult for me to sync.
I have previously synced both my jailbroken fourth generation iPod touch and my jailbroken first generation iPad (both running iOS 5.0.1) to iTunes (10.5.2 Windows 7) and they managed to sync all but my Cydia apps (which is fine) but now no tabs are showing at the top of my screen (File, Edit, View, etc) and when I connect my devices to my laptop, they can be synced, but the “sync” button doesn’t say “sync”, the rounded tabs in the middle at the top (Summary, Apps, Music, Videos, etc)of the iOS device don’t show up, as well as the scale showing how much space each thing (Videos, Music, Apps, Other, etc) takes up... all of these things make incredibly hard to sync.
I’ve restored my jailbroken iPod and iPad, as well as deleting and reinstalling iTunes twice now, but neither time worked. The second time I moved the location of the file to my desktop rather than the default folder, but nothing has worked... Has anyone had this problem? And can you please suggest how I can fix this?
The effect is usually caused by trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system, Mb. Unfortunately it's a bit trickier to deal with on Windows 7 systems than Vista or XP. (The "Vortical" instructions which can fix it for almost all folks on Vista and XP aren't applicable to Windows 7.)
Try having a look through the following (unfortunately very long) topic. It contains a lot of information on the Windows 7 variants of this, and possible methods for fixing the various Segoe UI-related issues that might be in play:

Hey, i've tried connecting my ipod to my laptop itunes and it's not working. My laptop shows it's connected but itunes isn't showing it's there. i've tired reinstalling, taking itunes off rebooting the laptop and putting it back on. I don't know how to get it working. Both my iPod touch and iPad have been syncing properly with iTunes, until todat that is. I downloaded iTunes 11.1.5 and now iTunes isn't showing up/reading/detecting any of my devices. I can no longer sync both my iPod touch and iPad. Please HELP

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Since upgrading to the newest ios 6.1.2 itunes isn't showing my app list on the left side of the screen, nor does it show all of my self made movies, only the purchased ones. Anyone else experiencing a similar problem? The iTunes store and most of the other features show up but other normal features seem to be missing too. I wish I hadn't upgraded. If you are talking about iTunes on your computer use the iTunes View menu item, "Show Sidebar".

How can I get my previously purchase music to show up in itunes on my macbook air? Not sure I want to import and use up hard drive, but would like to have access to my songs/playlists on my computer. It says homesharing is turned on for all my devices using the same apple id.

According the helpful woman I spoke to, no one at Apple knows why Apple decided to remove the ability to sync everything via USB. She hears complaints about the change and knows it makes life difficult for folks.
She also recommended, as you did, to contact www.apple.com/feedback about the change. She says Apple does in fact have a group of people who do read the comments.

Itunes will only show apple tv as device, but itunes won't show some tabs
when apple tv is connected to my laptop, itunes will show the device but the screen won't show some of the tabs like: info, or music, it does show: summary, photos. What is wrong with itunes not showing the apple tv device source tabs?
Hello Nate, thanx for the solution but that also doesn't worked for me and to name it - I am not willing to disable my firewall to get something running that worked before the atv 2.4 and itunes update - same with my network settings - after trying static IPs I returned to DHCP - so if there are friends in my network they don't need to adjust anything at their devices! And I am not working with WLAN - just simple cable - good, fast and save!
My atv has a static MAC-Address isn't it an easy thing for a software to search for it? I am willing to enter it in itunes if I could but I can't!
The whole software programming seems not to be very buggy and insufficent to me!
e.g.
1) The atv reboot-function on the atv-remote with pressing - and menu for 5 seconds always gets me the fancy question mark - so the only real reboot is pulling the plug,
2) On itunes I can test my network, my iphone and my ipod (which I don't have) but why can't I test my apple tv connection?
3) Sometimes I had the problem that I have to sync some content (music and videos) more than one time to be accepted from the atv - even if it was mp3 and mp4 - but that's not a problem anymore while there is not any sync for the atv
It seems to me that I am forced to enable SSH or FTP-connect so I can get rid of itunes! -
ITunes isn't showing up in the Devices list when using Internet Sharing.
Due to a neccessary relocation of my router, my two computers upstairs no longer have Internet Access (as neither have wireless capability). I am going to fix this issue soon by wiring in a new network to where the router is, but in the mean time I've simply been using my PowerBook G4 (running Leopard) as a Wireless access point. I simply plugged my two computers (via a hub) into my PB and turned on Internet Sharing.
Now, both of my computers (an iMac G3 running Tiger, and a Windows 7 computer) have Internet access fine. But neither of the two recognise my Apple TV now, which is connected to the router via WiFi. They both used to recognise the ATV and it would show up in devices fine, and the only thing that's changed now is the internet access is coming from the PB's sharing ability, since I did this both computer suddenly stopped seeing the ATV and I can no longer sync/connect. iTunes is up-to-date on all three computers (well except for the iMac which has an older version on it for obvious reasons).
The PowerBook on the other hand, does still see the ATV in iTunes. So I can only assume that for some reason the PowerBook is stopping the Apple Tv from being seen by the other two computers. Is there anyway I can fix this? Until I sort out a new network to my router which will take many months at the moment due to my own time constraints, this is the only way my two computers can connect to the ATV.That's surprising Roger, because it was showing up in searches on iTunes and feedburner has a title that I inputted under that rss feed. Is there another way for me to add a title that I am missing? I have pasted the feedburner screen that I see when I login:

You should not change "Original Feed" unless you move your original feed to a new domain or a new location on your existing server. Also, changing "Feed Address" will require you to update your feed subscribers with your new address; the previous feed address will no longer work.

My iTunes isn't show preview of application page
My iTunes can not preview application page such as Hayday, Line, Whatsapp and other games and application. When I click to application that I want to preview such as game, my iTunes show picture as use in iPhone and cann't see the picture preview of application like my attach file. So, I cann't preview any applications that I want to see about picture of applictions. I use window 7 and iTunes version 10.7. I have found this problem since I use itune version 5.1.1 in some applications but now it gone more than the past. Please correct it.

I gifted $15 to my friend through the itunes store. After 30 minutes, she had not received it so I resent the message. iTunes didn't say I would be double charged for RESENDING the email.
She only received the email once. She opened it and the redemption code was automatically downloaded onto iTunes. She only received $15, not the $30 I was charged!
I've tried calling iTunes support and now I'm here.

When you install an application, you have to type your user password, which is different than your Apple ID password. You set your user password when you got your computer.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
Malware is also found on websites that traffic in pirated content such as video. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)

ctrl B makes the top bar (File. Edit. View. Controls. Store. Help.) appear and disappear.
ctrl S makes a side bar appear on the left side of iTunes. It shows the library which has Music. Movies. TV Shows. Apps. Playlists. Ect.
When I did the steps you suggested, my iPhone did not show up in that list.
I checked my firewall settings again, and they seem to be okay. My firewall is the only thing that I am not 100% sure of. If I go to Control Pannel>System and Security>Windows Firewall>Allow an app through Windows Firewall. It shows that iTunes is allowed. I'm not sure if something else might need to be allowed as well though. I have a few Remote options that are not allowed such as, Remote Event Log Management, Remote Scheduled Tasks Management, Remote Shutdown, Remote Volume Management, and Routing and Remote Access. I'm not sure if any of these need to be allowed or not, or if they are even affiliated with iTunes.
