ITunes item info - was good, now must click twice to get product info

Does anyone else find the new look iTunes 9 less useful and user friendly the the previous version? It was nice to look at release date and other info for albums, songs, books, etc. in pervious iTunes versions, BUT NOW one must scroll over an click on the "i" symbol to get additional info on all items. It is inefficient and in some cases slows down the use of iTunes. C'mon Apple get back to common sense. Sometimes the bells and whistles of old are much better than anything new and much more efficient.
Does anyone from APPLE read these reviews and comments? Seems like not at all

I remember, in my hindbrain, that I used to be able to click & drag on the title bar of a doc window in Photoshop. That window would come to the front and I could continue dragging it.
Now, I have to click to bring to front, release, then click again to drag. This is a "drag".
Can I get the old behaviour back?

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

I updated my itunes then it failed, it wouldnt let me on said i had to uninstall then reinstall itunes so i did that now its saying i cant get it in because of error 2 what do i do?

i have uninstslled the reinstalled numerous times and repaired everything connected to apple and still i cant get on to it. can some one help me?

First checking something further. If you go into your Uninstall a program control panel, do you see Apple Application Support listed among your installed programs?
If you don't see it in there, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?

First Screen click box -must click twice

My colleague created a simulation in Captivate and inserted a
clickbox over the Start Button. The clickbox is set to appear for
rest of slide (and, in attempt to troubleshoot the issue, he's set
clickbox to appear for a specific number of seconds as well ); the
option to pause the movie until learner clicks is selected; the
double click option is NOT selected.
When movie runs, the user must click then wait a while, then
click on the start button again before moving to next screen.

Another method of avoiding this issue is to insert the Mark
of the Web (MOTW) on your HTML pages. Google "Mark of the Web" to
see learn more about this method. As long as we have the MOTW on
our HTML pages, the page is considered to be in the Internet zone.
Also note, you must have MOTW on all your HTML pages otherwise
moving from page to page does not work. As some pages are
considered to be in the Internet zone and others are not.
The nice thing about this method is that it works for other
items besides Flash and the learners do not have to perform any
extra tasks to make it work correctly. Someone else provided code
that you can add to just the HTML pages you use to launch your
Captivate (Flash) files. It works too. But I prefer the MOTW
because it doesn't try to circumvent the inherent security
features.

Why I must click twice Back Link in TLN to get back to Area Page

Hi everyone, i need a little help about TLN. I'm developed webdynpro application and i have integrated it with ess. The problem is arise when I click Back link in top level navigation (TLN) from my iview (custom application). I need to click this link twice to get back to area page (actually just one click to go back to area page). How i handle this problem ? Thank you.

I have a button in my iview (custom application), when i click this button, the page will be back to area page but Detailed Navigation will be display (i have setting this to be hide), why this happen ?
Sorry, didn't get your question. Do you mean to say that you want to hide the detailed navigation on the Area page. Is this Area Page a custom application ? What is the code written on the click of button ? Is the Area Page an iview within a page and then attached to role or workset or just an iview attached to role or workset ?
Have you changed the following property of iview or page (for Area Page) "Initial State of Navigation Panel" to closed ?

maybe an easy thing ... i got a Menu wih commandLink. the BackBean sends back the "from-outcome". After I cklick on a commandLine, the page is called, but some vars are still from page befor. cklicking second time, then it works. The bad thing about this, is, I have Realm, and the LoginPage appears after I click twice. The User sees the protected<page wthout beeing logged in ...

When I call with the command the next page, I call a Bean which gives back the outcome ti display the next page. the vars i'm reading, i read with another bean, called when i make the content. apparently, when i use this

Blackberry Z10 battery life - was good now it drains in a few hours

Good Day,
We have had the BB Z10 (two phones) for over a month with no issues with battery life. Last week one of the phones battery loses its charge in about 4 hours with next to no use (only several emails, no phone calls or browsing.)
Both phones have the most recent software upgrade which was to extend battery life.
The other phone will go for about 16 hours with moderate use on one charge.
Can anyone pinpoint what to look at what would be casuing the battery usage?

Check and see if your WiFi is on. I had (have) the same problem when I leave it on and go to work. The phone constantly searches for WiFi and the battery at a record pace. I turn it on only when I am at home or where I can access WiFi, other times I leave it off.
I also hear the Ebay app is a huge drain.
I also limited the home pages, I had over twelve that i think were constantly updating. I limited it to one.
Maybe one or all of these will help.

Macbk pro 2010 won't wake after sleep, must restart twice to get it working

If I close the macbook or leave it open for too long the screen goes black and I must restart it via the power button 2 times before it starts up normally. On the first restart, the computer shuts down but when starting back up the screen stays asleep, so must shut down again. OS X 10.9.5, tried running apple hardware test (AHT) but couldn't get the icon to show up. No idea what to do...

OK, 10.6.7 update did NOT fix the issue.
So before putting mbp to sleep last night, I did a SMC reset procedure.
This morning when it woke up, it detected the cable immediately.

When you say "use the same purchasing apple ID for both to share books/music apps"- will this allow him to see what apps I download on his ipod (don't want)? will this allow me to continue to see what apps/games he gets on his ipod, on my phone (do want)? and do I set those changes on both devices?

     Apps: ON

     now you decide what he gets automatically.
He doesn't use game center, imessage, facetime or anything else (mainly just games, music and picture taking)- so does he really need his own apple id and email address? also- if he wants to start getting text messages, would i still have access to all of them if he has his own apple id? would i have access to them if he stays on my apple id?
Then he doesn't need an Apple ID.
Switch in
Settings > Messages >
     iMessage: OFF
     Send & Receive > Apple ID: > sign out
Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime: OFF

Why do I have to click twice?

I'm trying to update the text in a JLabel by clicking a toolbar button. For some reason, I have to double-click or click twice to get it to update. The JLabel is currently part of a class (ClassB) that is constructed in my main application class (ClassA) and placed as a component of a split pane.
If I strip everything out and just have a button and my ClassB in the contentpane of ClassA, it works fine.
Can anyone give my an idea as to why this could be happening?

Off hand I'd say there is a problem in the code you stripped out. Why don't you post some properly formatted code that demonstrates your problem and then maybe someone will be able to help you.

Have to click twice to do anything

I have a macbook pro running OS X and I have to click twice to get it to recognise a single click.

One possibility to consider is third party software, including - but by no means limited to - mouse software.
Does this annoying behavior persist for a different user, e.g., Guest?
Does this annoying behavior persist when starting up in Safe Mode?

FW CS4 - Why do I have to click twice?

I've been working my way through the Adobe Classroom in a Book for FW CS4, and it keeps telling me to click once, after I start the import process, to place a graphic on what I'm working on. But if I click once, nothing happens. I need to click *twice* to get the graphic to be placed.
Why is that? Is the book wrong?
I'm on a Mac Pro, running Leopard 10.5.8.

Thanks for the question. On Windows it seems only a single click is needed for the import function to complete itself. On the Mac, it appears you need to click once to bring the canvas "back in focus" before the import can be completed.

PC died and in turn my main iTunes library. iPhone was synced to it. Now when I try to connect to another library it tells me the phone must be wiped clean before I can manage music with new library. Any way around that? Don't want to lose music.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
It sounds like you have failed to do this, which is not good at all.
You will have to transfer your itunes purchases from your iphone. Authorize your computer for your itunes account
About iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization
Open itunes, plug in iphone, do NOT sync, click File>Transfer Purchases
When you do sync you will lose your pics ( photo library - synced from your old computer), your itunes content ( music, apps, videos,etc) , your contacts and your calendars. So do NOT sync yet. This is why a backup copy is so important.
Enter one unique contact and calendar entry on your computer.
When you first sync, you should get the option to merger the data. Choose it.
If you want your pics, then you will need to e-mail them to yourself before you sync. They will not be of the original quality as they are reduced when synced to iphone.
When all is as goos as it can be, then backup your computer, and always maintain the backup.
