ITunes LP Did Not Download?
Hey everyone, I pre-ordered Alice In Chains' new album, Black Gives Way to Blue, on August 22, and I upgraded to iTunes 9 when it came out with the new features, such as the iTunes LPs. When it finally downloaded on September 29, all the music files downloaded, but the LP was missing. How come I cannot get it even though I am entitled to it, since I pre-ordered it a month in advance, before iTunes 9 came out? Is there a way for me to get the LP? I was really looking forward to trying it out.

Having the same problem except mine isn't showing up in purchase history. I got an email notifying me that the download was released and iTunes successfully downloaded the album itself but not the iTunes LP digital booklet/experience files. I actually only ordered from iTunes for this, already have the physical CD, I hope this gets resolved quickly.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

If you are experiencing issues with the iTunes Store failing to launch, there are a couple of things you can try. The first would be to reset all settings. Go toSettings > General > Reset > Reset all settings.
If the issue persists, try signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading selectDownloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloadsisunticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I just purchased a song on itunes that did not download properly. I tried going to the Purchase History section to redownload the song, but there was no button on the screen that would redownload the song. right-clicking it does nothing. I tried going into my account to redownload it to no avail. I am unsure of a support phone number. Please help...

Check to make sure that Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases is checked in iTunes preferences and try to download it again. You can also navigate to see that purchase in the iTunes Store. Navigate to the home page of the store and then click Purchased in the Quick Links section. It will then list out purchases and put them in categories based on the type of purchase that it is. Find the Movies tab and then your content and click the cloud button to download it. If you are still unable to get your iTunes Extra, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Today, 01/23/2014, I tried updating iTunes, as I got a messsage that update was available. The update did not download correctly I got the message to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it. After the uninstall and reinstall I got an error message, that stated: The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program fo fix. then I got the message, iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 126) I have had iTunes since I purchased the iphone in 2012. I have only updated the product since then until today when I did the uninstall ans reinstall as stated in above directions. I am not sure what is different now. please help
I had this problem as well but found the soultion on another post from turingtest2 - it worked for me:
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selectingRun as Administrator.

After installing the 64 bit version of itunes my iphone still won't sync. I get the explantation that I mobile driver application did not download and i need to remove and reinstall itunes (which I have done numberous times). Any help?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now? -
It originally did not download correctly. I refreshed the download and it supposedly completed. Upon playing the song in both my library and on the Itunes store it will not play past the first 5 seconds. How can I fix this?

I tried to download the last itunes update 1/22/14 and it did not download correctly. I can't access itunes at all. Tried to uninstall and download from website but I get error 7 (Windows 126) message and also msvcr80.dll is missing from your computer message.

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -
I just bought music on my iTunes account and the files did not download completely. The songs play for a minute or so then skips to next song
If you live in a Region that allows re-downloading Music... Delete the Song and re-download it...

When I purchased a song on itunes, for some reason it did not download the whole song. It quits about 1 and 1/2 minutes through the song. Is there a way I can re-download the song without re-paying for it?

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option find it ? If not, then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes for downloading (if there is an complete download of the track listed in the Music part of your library then you will need to delete it from there before it will get the cloud symbol in Purchased for redownloading) ?
If you can't download it via either of the above then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
