ITunes LP material only stays on screen for 10 seconds

I have ATV (software up to date 17/APR/10) hooked up to iTunes 9.1(79) on Snow Leopard all updates installed. The issue is, when playing back an iTunes LP on Apple TV, I can see the navigation screens, view lyrics, etc. but they only stay on screen for 10 seconds then ATV just jumps back to displaying the old album cover and song title as per non- iTunes LP titles.
I don't have shuffle set or anything like that and the iTunes LP is synced and the include iTunes LPs and include videos boxes are both checked in iTunes. So basically it isn't that I can't work iTunes LPs on ATV, just that most of the time,, the lyrics have disappeared off screen before the first line has been sung.

Thanks for the replies. I like to power down most of the time to save battery so if it's gonna be normal for me not to be able to get to the slider screen before it goes into sleep I guess I will have to accept it. However I'm sure I remember rightly that the first few times I used it after set up it used to stay on screen for several seconds to allow me to slide the button over. Now it never does and to be honest I would expect it to wait after all you don't boot up your PC and then it immediately go into sleep mode unless something was wrong. I thought most things when powered on would let you sign in or whatever before "going to sleep".
Just concerned to do a reset in case the darned thing does erase stuff which would seriously tee me off. Appreciate the feedback guys.

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Why does my title text stay on screen for the duration of my iMovie?

ITunes U catalogues only show black screen.

I have tried re-booting my iPad. Deleting it and re-installing. Even erasing all data and content. Without back up and back up. Yet iTunes U catalogues only show a black screen. And the bar with the top charts and all that at the bottom of the screen. Also with the search button at the top. Any one know how do do this?

Go to settings, then safari, then go to block cookies and then select third party. You should be able to see iTunes store again. Good luck.

Ipod touch 5th generation battery screen with lightning bolt locked cannot charge or restart. ive tried everything from new cables attempting to shut down but stays at screen for a few seconds then black screen again over and over

screen locked up and shows the battery with low red and ligtning bolt and cannot hard shut down or reset just stays there for a few seconds then black screen. hooked up to computer and itunes doesnt recognize it or even shows that it is pluged in. looked and made sure nothing is broken or metal in ligting port or on cable which would prevent it from accepting a charge. ipod is only a month old and seems like a waste of money if its so hard to try to get an explanation of why this is ive been tryning to get an answer from apple for a week now.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The iPhone really does not have user serviceable parts. If you open the device in an attempt to service it yourself, then you void any post-warranty support from Apple. They will not touch the device again. Should you make any mistakes, no one from Apple will service the device. If you take it to Apple, since it is an iPhone 5, it may qualify for their Battery program. Go to www.apple.com/support/iPhone and check to see. If not, you can still make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the device checked. If it is the battery and it does not qualify for the program, you may be able to get the battery replaced at a lower cost than replacing the device. Apple will be able to tell you how to proceed.

Bought 2 Cd's on iTunes and it only plays the first 30 seconds of some songs on the album when listed as longer. How can I fix this?

I bought a few CD's from the iTunes store, Incubus Morning View and Make Yourself. Half of the songs on there play for the full length and the other half only play for about 30 seconds when listed as the full song. Is there anyway to fix this or re-download the songs?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support. Do this also if the iTunes LP package itself won't work properly.

Photoshop CC 64 only stays open 2-3 seconds

I just installed Photoshop through the Creative Cloud Installer. 64 and 32 versions.. When I run either version of Photoshop, the program stays only open 2-3 seconds and then shuts down.I'm not abel to do any work. I re-installed it and also installed a patch. Same result - I'm not able to run the program. I'm on Windows 7, I7, 16GB Ram
Any suggestions?

Hold down ( ctrl + alt + shift ) and run Photoshop
2- Right click on Photoshop -> Run as admin .

Purchased songs seem to only stay on for a few days, then I have to re-sync

Songs that I've imported from CD stay permanent on the IPOD. But songs that I've purchased through iTunes seem to only stay on a few days then only the titles/playlists are there for them. It won't play them, but instead will just advance through the playlist.
A possible related symptom, before this happens, when I turn on the iPod, it gets the apple symbol which I assume means it is booting up as opposed to just waking up.
Is it normal for purchased songs to have a "shelf life" then they expire? I would assume they are saved to the hard disk like any other songs.
Has anyone encountered this or do you know a rememdy for my problem?

How to get One Selection Screen for all queries?

Hi Experts,
I have three queries having selection screens. All the selection screen have the same variables, but the reports are different.
I have created a workbook having these three queries. Each time when the workbook opens, the three selection screen pops up one after the another. Same values are entered in all the selection screens.
Now the user wants only one selection screen for all the three reports. Is it possible? I tried but I do not see any way.
I think there should be some way of getting it done.

If a workbook contains multiple queries that use the same variable, you are prompted to enter the variable values again for each query. To avoid this, set the Display Duplicate Variables Only Once flag.
Goto Workbook Settings>Under Variables Tab>select Display Duplicate Variables only Once

Certain videos give me only a black screen, for example all CBS News or Cnettv videos. Most videos, including, for example, NBS News videos play fine, as do the commercials before CBS News videos, but when a CBS video is supposed to start the window goes black and there is no sound. The counter does not advance. I have Flash player Version 11.8.800.175; IE version 10.0.9200.16686, update version 10.0.9, on Windows 7. ActiveX filtering is off, Shockwave Flash Object is enabled. I have the same problem on two similarly configured Dell computers in two cities.

iTunes shows Subscribe Only in price field for my podcast. How can I change it to Free?

It is still Free. The Subscribe label seems to appear if your episodes are encoded in AAC format instead of MP3. Perfectly legitimate thing to do, although it limits your audience to iTunes and a few other AAC capable players.
