ITunes LP Transfer to Other Accounts

If I purchase a iTunes LP album...say Muse - The Resistance...on my laptop and would like the LP content tranferred over to my home PC as well using the same Apple Store account, is that possible?

I haven't tested it yet, but according to an email from iTunes Support, the music files can be transferred to any computer that is authorized to play content from your iTunes account. Only the extra content is dependent on iTunes 9. If you have iTunes 9 on both machines, then the extra content would probably be transferrable as well.

How will reinstalling itunes on a shared computer affect other accounts?

I have an iphone in recovery mode and I'm trying to restore it, however, every time I begin to restore it, iTunes quits. I've been told to uninstall and then reinstall iTunes on the iBook. However, it's a shared computer, I need to know if the other iTunes libraries on the other accounts will be affected negatively. Will the other account's data be erased? Should they back up their information? Or will nothing happen to the other accounts?

ITunes Launches on multiple Windows account

When I open Itunes under my username, it automatically launches on other users who are logged in on this computer. Then I get a error message every 30 seconds that says Itunes cannot open on other accounts.

We had this problem, and I think I fixed it.
Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Sharing. See if "Look for shared libraries" is checked. If so, uncheck it (I think for all users). See if that stops the behavior.

Not on your own. Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to put it back onto the card; they'll only do this if none of the balance has been spent.

Initial information: I have my computer, internet is with SBC Yahoo DSL. It has five sub accounts on it; mine, my wife's and my three children. Each has their own subaccount to make life easy.
I bought my wife an ipod in the August and through ignorance set up the itune to run on my subaccount. So when she wanted to buy a song, she had to go to my subaccount, log on, buy the song, plug in and download to the ipod. No problem.
I then bought my daughter an ipod for her birthday in September. Not knowing any better, she plugged into my subaccount and got all of her mother's stuff. Not a big problem in that they like the same stuff.
December my son gets an ipod. I learned my lesson and set up an itunes account on his subaccount. He therefore buys songs, that go to his ipod only. He wanted some songs from mom's, so I couldn't figure how to get them over. So I read the instructions on this web page. I burned the disk with the 22 songs that he wanted, but when burning the discs, no info (song title, artist, album) came with it, so I manually added the song titles and artists names. He was satisfied.
Now mom and sister want their songs put onto their subaccounts so that they won't have to share, or better, won't have to down load what each other has. I tried burning more discs, but when I got to disc #11, I realized that once again, there are no names or titles, etc to the songs on the burnt discs.
QUESTION: (finally) Is there a way to transfer the songs from dad's itunes, to other subaccounts on the SAME computer. This way not needing to burn lots of CD's without the information that they want.
Final piece of info, in case you don't know how SBC/Yahoo DSL is set up. I have the different subaccount on the computer, but to get from one to another, you need to either log off, or so simply "switch users." For this reason, such functions like "select all" then "copy" then "paste" I don't think can be done. Please make your answers very simple as I am not that computer literate.

I'll try and keep this simple. It gets a bit confusing.
Ok, in the account which you want to transfer songs from, make a playlist of all the songs you wish transferred. After you do so, open the playlist, then go to "File > Export Song List". Put the file in a place that you'll remember. Then, go to the account you want the songs to go to, then go to "File > Import", and find the file you created from the other account and open it. That should import those songs into that iTunes library.

If you have not spent any of the money from the card, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They may be able to restore the money to the card so you can redeem it through the correct account. If any of the money has been spent, then there will almost certainly be nothing the iTunes Store will be able to do for you.

You'll need to copy the music currently on your iPod to your new PC and into iTunes first before you can sync it to the new iPod.

I used a different iTunes account on my phone to download apps. Now I have my own, but the apps i downloaded on the other account won't update.

The problem is that you do not own the apps purchased under any account other than your own.
You could potentially use the apps from another account, but you will not be able to update them on your iPhone. The best way to try to use those apps would be to use iTunes on your computer to sync your iPhone (and hold all the apps), then, in iTunes on your computer, do Store > Authorize This Computer from iTunes' menu and enter the other account's Apple ID and password.

If the music is on the same computer, import the songs to your iTunes library by dragging them into iTunes or choosing File > Add to Library (Mac) or File > Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library (Windows). If the music is on different computers you can set up Home Sharing to copy the music from one library to the other (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4620).
