ITunes LPs not working anymore

iTunes LPs have stopped working for me for some reason. It's been like this for months and I haven't found a solution anywhere. When I click on the LP file, nothing happens. Nothing pops up, nada. It's like as if I hadn't clicked on it at all. This is affecting ALL my iTunes LPs. I checked the files in the iTunes media folder and they all seem to be ther,e iTunes just won't open them. Help, please? I have the latest version of iTunes and I'm using a 2010 iMac 27" running Mac OS X Lion, the latest version.

Thanks, for info, iPod Classic is a slower machine compared the Nano, unfortunately, if you read these discussions, majority of the freezes involved iTunes 10. Although if might be just slow and some impatient user just disconnect the iPod ands cause more problems. ( Yes I also did that but safely by doing a iPod Hard Reset, before disconnecting).

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your iPod to the PC, using a high speed USB 2.0 port at the back of your PC, do not use any USB Hub.
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.

since a month my Itunes is not working anymore.
I don't know whats wrong with it but all of a sudden it's not working anymore. When I start it my computer sais: There is an fault in Itunes and it has to be closed.
I really hope u guys can help me.

I noticed this recently too. Either you see "No artwork available" or, if you select multiple items, the box says something like "Multiple items selected." But other times it says "Drag artwork here." I can't make sense of it.
Rest assured you can still drag/drop. There is no need to save the picture first. The trick is to drag/drop onto the artwork box in the Get Info window instead of the left corner of iTunes.

Viewing App page in itunes does not work anymore from web broswer link

When ever I find an app that I would like to view in itunes from a web browser, itunes will not open up that app. It will ask for my password and then take me to the main itunes page. It use to go straight to the "want to view" app.

If you are taking about on your computer, you have an iTunes or browser problem, not an iPod problem. Migh have better luck in the iTunes forum.
Do you by chance have scripting turned off for the browser?

ITunes Match not working anymore!

So I recently restored my iPhone 5 because of an excessive amount of "other" on it. I have done this before with no problem. I have an iTunes Match subscription and never before has it been affected by the restore process. This time however it is no longer working. My library shows up on my phone, nothing is grayed out, but when I tap on the song it won't play and then it starts skipping through every track. Also my tracks that weren't purchased through the store (tracks I had downloaded from Amazon, uploaded from my CDs, etc) do not show up on my iPhone. The weird thing is that at the top of the songs list where it says how many songs there are, the number keeps spazzing out and changing every second as if it is still counting songs. It's also not letting me download any songs.
I recently changed my Apple ID email/username/password but it didn't affect my Match account before. I've tried turning Match on and off on both my laptop and iPhone multiple times, I've tried updating...nothing works!
I know this is a complicated question, but has this happened to anyone else? Please help me if you can!
My iPhone 5 is running 7.1.2 and my iTunes is 11.3.

The terms and conditions of using your US Apple ID states that you must use this service within the boundaries of the US.

ITunes LPs not working

Hi. I recently bought four Metallica albums (Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, and Metallica). All four came with the digital booklets. At the time I bought these albums I still had an older version of iTunes (9 or something). A few days later, I downloaded the latest versions of iTunes. When I opened these albums, there was an option to play the LP. When I clicked that, it downloaded the digital booklets again. When I try to open these booklets, Adobe Reader says that the file is unrecognized and cannot be opened. When I click "Play iTunes LP," it tries to open the digital booklet and fails. I have tried deleting and redownloading the booklets, but it didn't work. Has anyone else had this experience? Thanks for any help.

Why does itunes store not work anymore properly on first generation ipad? could we not expect that apple keeps apps functional on older devices?

seems apple wants to push us throwing away 3 year old devices or forgets that it needs to maintain apps for them while moving on to new generation definetely frustrating that the app crashes all the time- so no more films or music downloading. also a reset did not help. Frustrating experience

The Terms and Conditions of the iTunes Store clearly state all sales are final. The person you spoke with may have been told a refund could not be given. They may have contacted the developer of the app who is claiming that the in-app purchase was delivered to you.
You would have been far better off to have called Apple back rather than switching to Chat. Contact them again, by phone, and ask to speak to a senior advisor and if necessary ask for a supervisor. If you threaten them and say they are cheating you, etc. they will probably disconnect so keep that in mind. They are under no obligation whatsoever to provide you a refund.

For years i have been finding images on the internet and dragging them into the box in the bottom left-hand corner of iTunes that says, "Drag Album Artwork Here". As of today, it won't let me do it anymore. It says, "No Artwork Available". Do I have to change settings? I already know that I can save images and upload them, but that takes longer.

Itunes i not working anymore

ok. i was using itunes for a long time and upgrading it like normal but it messed up for some reason. i went to a whole bunch of forums but it didnt help me. can someone help me plz? when i try to open it it says "this action is only for products that are currently installed." i tried to uninstall it but it says "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." what does it mean and can anyone help me?

Definitely seems to be a cross-platform bug in iTunes 10.5 concerning all NAS disks. Shared libraries on network drives worked fine under 10.4.1, but now there is just an endless loading cycle with no error message or time-out. There is a bit more about it in this thread.

My iPAD 4 with WI-FI and Cellular (MM) model number A1460 (iPAD 3,6) after an update to iOS 7.0.3 from iTunes is not working anymore.
I tryed for 3 times than I put him in recovery mode and hw gave me this error:

Hey rmacbeth, I'm sorry to hear about your iPad troubles. It seems like with every major iOS release, these issues come up on older models (the iPad 3 is relatively new though...weird)
Anyways, it sounds like you've tried everything already and nothing seems to be working. If you're sure that it's a software issue with iOS and has nothing to do with your physical home button, I'd recommend restoring your iPad to factory settings by doing the following:
1. Make a backup of your iPad (just connect it and select the backup option in iTunes)
2. Next, select factory restore. It'll ask you to back up your iPad here if you haven't already.
3. Try quickly setting it up as a new iPad.
4. Try to duplicate the issue with the freezing, just use it for a day and see if it happens at all
5. If everything seeems to be working, restore again except this time, do it from the backup you made earlier
6. Try again to see if the issue comes up by using it normally in a day
7. If it does happen again, take it in to the Apple store to get it looked at as there may be some underlying software issue that a factory restore can't resolve

My itunes does not work anymore. I have bought thousands of songs off itunes but now they won't let me buy one song. I keep getting an error 306 ... well I guess they don't want us to buy anymore songs ... maybe napster or walmart downloads don't have the error 306 ... goodbye itunes.

Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.

Everything besides the screen is completely fine-the screen will not recognize my finger anymore. I am not trying to fix the phone, but I need to have my contacts. The pictures have already synced, but I need my password to do a full backup. Unfortunately, I can't type in my password. Is there any way around it? If I take my phone to the apple store, will they be able to help me? I am not willing to replace the screen just to do this, however, so that is out of the question.

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

Can this be confirmed to be a bug introduced with 10.5 ?
I also saw some people mentioning the same problem on Synology NAS.

ITunes shuffle is not working anymore

iTunes shuffle is not working anymore after downloading latest version. The shuffle button is highlighted but it just plays the next track.

If you don't have all of your content on a backup that you can copy onto your new computer and into its iTunes (File > Add To Library), then you should be able to copy iTunes purchases from the iPad to it via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases). For content from other sources (e.g. music that you copied form CDs) which you don't have on a backup, there are some third-party programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from your iPad.
