ITunes match has created multiple playlist of the same name

I made a playlist on my ipad at a party, there was no wifi so I wasnt using itunes match just choosing songs on the ipad, but when I got home the next day and turned on my mini there are hundreds of playlist with that name on my mac and the ipad, the playlist were also showing zero songs.
There is no way to multi select playlist and because there are hundreds of them I cant be bothered holding down delete key all day.
Any clues anyone?

Run the script from "dougs scripts" "delete empty playlist"(link below) and then dont use itunes match in the store menu untill Apple has sorted this out because it will just repopulate. At the moment Apple hasnt acknowledged the issue but I think there are enough gripes about it now to warrant this as a valid concern among music match users.

iTunes Match does not have the ability to remove local files.
The service operates by comparing the selected iTunes Library with the iTunes Store content and 'matching' or 'uploading' - it is very straightforward a 'match' provides equivalent access to iTunes Store content as a recognised 'purchase'; upload simply copies a 256k AAC variant into the cloud. There are no elements of this activity that can erase the local library content.
Would suggest you explore possible alternative causes of file loss. Given the pattern described of selective deletion, leaving many Songs intact - would suggest making at least 2 secure offline Song file backups and starting the library again from a fresh install of iTunes once a thorough sweep of the system has been completed for virus. It is also worth assessing the physical security of the system - who has access & with what privileges.
To access Songs from the cloud, you would have to manually delete the Song from the library or open an empty library - so even when accessing content, iTunes Match provides no local deletion capability.

I don't think you want to combine all of the HTML into one file. That doesn't make too much senese. If you wanted to, then just copy everything from all 3 files between <body></body> and paste into one html file between <body></body>. I think what you're trying to do is create seperate static pages. I would read/youtube how to setup a blogger website. Can iTunes sync multiple songs with the same name?

My iTunes library has multiple songs with the same name (but they point to different files on the filesystem).
Curiously when iTunes syncs to my iPhone it will only ever sync two of the files, even if more exists. I suspect what is happening is described below, but I have no way of verifying it:
Let's assume I have 5 songs named IdenticalName, on the filesystem these are named IdenticalName.mp3, IdenticalName 1.mp3, IdenticalName 2.mp3, and so on.
I suspect iTunes is syncing the filename without a number postfix, and the file with the "1" postfix and not continuing with the rest of the files.
Has anyone seen similar behaviour? Did you find a workaround (other than renaming your tracks)?

can you manually discover the new instances on the new server?
Then just make sure the name that appears in Grid Control is different.
e.g. prod.world is on server A and B. When you discover in Grid control, you can make it prod_B and you will see the latter without any problem.

Can I create multiple links to the same file without duplicating file?

does anyone know if it is possible to create multiple links to the same file using iWeb without the program automatically making multiple copies of that file in the published output? It seems that one file is created for each link.

That is a quirk of Pagesthat it applies only one record per page.

ITunes Match stop at step 3 on the same music.

My iTunes Match freezed at step 3 on the same music. I tried to stop and restart but it didn't change.

Start deleting songs from your library that require to be uploaded and each time you do an album update match and see if it goes further.
Be sure to check that box that also deletes it from the cloud also.
If it does not go any further move to the next album until you find the one that is holding it up.
I don't know any other way to tell you to do it.
Just start deleting songs that require you to upload until you find the right one.
At least you don't have 5,000 to check. You only have 700 or so.
If you had to delete them all and then re add them into your library it really isn't that many.

XOQ-01950: The AWCubeOrganization for cube "NN_OLAP_POC.MARKET_SALES_CUBE" contains multiple BuildSpecifications with the same name.

This error should only show up when you create a cube (by importing XML), not when you maintain it. So I will assume that this is what you mean.
If you import XML that refers to an OLAP object that already exists, then the new definition overrides the old one. The only exception to this rule is the BuildSpecification object. This kind of object is named, but it does not follow these conventions (for messy implementation reasons). If you import XML that has a BuildSpecificaiton with the same name as one that already exists, then you will trigger the error you see. Here is an example of the relevant XML.

</BuildSpecifications>The workaround is to delete this section from the XML before importing it.

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade.
It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.

Is it possible to search for multiple folders with the same name and then select them all and change the permissions on just those folders .i.e. Search for the budget folders in all client folders and lock them down to just the project managers. Without having to go to each folder and apply the permissions.

Details: Another try in fixing this bug. When legacy-collection is false, Actionscript Array on the client becomes Java Array on the server and my fix yesterday assumed this case. However, when legacy-collection is true, Actionscript Array becomes Java ArrayList on the server. So added code to handle this case.
