ITunes match icon (beneath the iTunes store) is gone

I am using itunes match and I had to sign out of my apple ID account for a moment then log back in and now the itunes match is not showing up under the store catagory?

The reason it disappeared is because apple is getting ready for the full launch of match so they have deleted everyone's current match library. There was a notice sent out to developers stating that fact. Hope you had everything backed up.

I hate the fact that I found this topic on Google, but after I had to log in to post this reply it took me somewhere else! Again, a site designed by people who must never use their own software. Any site that makes you log in to use a feature should not cast you adrift one you've logged in for the express purpose of using that very feature. It makes me angry before I even start! I am only here now because I have been run through the hoops trying to buy Lion and install it. When I launched the app store, it had a lion's face I had to click on to download. But there was no link to Buy or Download. Eventually after many relaunches I accidentally discovered that if i clicked on £20 it changed into a green Buy - but only if you click directly on it, it you click on the down arrow it invites you to copy a link or to share it with somebody.. Then it made me log in again (what instant amnesia this site has) and I had to re-enter all my credit card info because it would not access an Australian American Express card even though it has a UK billing address. So I went back again, and still got the Lion. I clicked Buy several times but nothing happened. Then out of the blue it changed to Install. I clicked that many many many many many many times. Nothing happened whatsoever. I am going to have to give up for now and try and get through to Apple tomorrow as they shut up shop and there is no sales or tech support. God knows how many times they have charged my credit card for all the times I clicked Buy and nothing appeared to happen, or maybe it did happen and just doesn't tell you.
So far tonight I've done nothing but start and restart AppStore, log in over and over, click the price>Buy and try to click install. and for all this effort so far I have got a big fat zero.
I would have thought by now that Apple would have had some experiene in designing and delivering software over the internet, but my experience tells me that they are complete beginners whe it comes to user-friendly ecommerce. This is some of the laziest web work I've had the misfortune to be annoyed by.
Here's what I think should happen:
Log in once and once only
Click the product you want
Click Buy (a separate button from the price tag)
Once sale approved, click Download
Progress bar appears
Feedback in plain English for any action that cannot be completed for any reason, with that reason spelt out in layman's terms.

I am trying to buy an app (Aperture). I don't see a "buy" icon in the app store. If I go to Apple site, there is a buy icon but when I click it, I get a dialogue box saying the link needs to be opened with an application. Please help. Thanks.

Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) will reinstall the App Store for you.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed then try purchasing Aperture.

The Icon for the apps store and itunes disappeared from my iphone. was told to reset and clear all setting to get them back. After i download the information from my computer to the iphone. I lost 78 itune songs.

unfortunately, the music feature is currently available in the US only, so if you're located elsewhere, your only option would be to restore the missing files from the backup you surely have created?!

HT1879 The search box in the iTunes store is GONE. How do I search for things?

All of a sudden the search box in the iTunes store will disappear but not all the time. Occasionally it's there and I can purchase music. How do I get it back? I would like to look for more music and there doesn't seem to be another way, aside from spending several hours scouring through the menus to find something.

The "A" icon for the app store disappeared from my iPad. erasing the iPad and restoring it (per Apple's instructions) did not work and took 10 hours! Any other ideas?

The iTunes store blue "A" icon disappeared from my iPad's desktop. Applecare had me erase and restore the whole thing which took forever and the icon is STILL gone! Does anyone know how to get it back?

Itunes Store Download Gone Wrong ?

I had purchased and downloaded a Music video off the itunes store last night. This morning. I had turned Off my computer while it was processing. Now My music video is no where to be seen, Not even on the purchased? How can i fix this.

Perhaps the File is in the Downloads-Folder, look at iTunes -> iTunes Media -> Downloads

Some apps that have iOS7 icons in the app store, are downloading with their old iOS6 icon, in my case the first Infinity Blade.

First of all, it wasn't letting me post in the App store section, so this is my best bet. Basically the title says it all I went to download Infinity blade which update its icon upon the release of ios7 to look like this

Why is my app missing the tablet/phone icon in the Windows store when I have linked my phone app to my Windows Store app

I recently updated two apps that I had developed both Windows and Windows phone apps for. They were not originally linked as they were developed before there was a linking process. I updated both the phone apps to have the same in app purchases
as their corresponding Windows app and then linked their app package ids to there corresponding Windows apps as well. However, only one of the two apps I updated now shows the Tablet/Phone icon in the Windows Phone store. I would really like that
icon to appear as I think it will help downloads. I linked the app packages the same on both apps so I don't know why one is showing the icon and the other is not. The updated has been published for over a week so I don't think it's a timing issue.
Please help.

It's just you. And the Caps Lock key on your keyboard is stuck. You should get that fixed.

IOS 6: Why is the Updates icon in the App Store app jumping around?

When I open the App Store app for the first time, the Updates icon is in the middle. If I hit the Home button, then tap the App Store app again, the Updates icon moves to the far right.

Although I have tried everything written in the post above for many times, I have never done "Reset All Settings" to fix the bug.
General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings.

I cannot see or select app icons in the App Store, they're there but blanked out

I Was prompted to update my Foxtel Go app, when I went to the App Store all the icons were blank and although selectable they won't download any updates.

Make sure you are signed in using the same Apple ID you used to originally download the app with.
From the App Store menu bar click Store > Sign In

An app icon disappeared from my purchased icons on the app store

I bought a new ipad mini and got in it the apps of numbers and pages. To day I looked on all my purchased apps and saw that the numbers app exists among the list of purchased apps but the pages app disappeared from the list of purchased apps. the app still works on my ipad. Why it disappeared from my purchased apps list? how can I bring it back to the list of purchased apps? I am scared that the app will disappear from my ipad and i will not be able to retrieve it.

I scrolled over and over but it is not there. But if I erase it from the ipad and then open the App store I can download it for free. It will not be on my purchased list but I can redownload it.

Macbook Icon under the device column is gone.

I accidentally poofed the Macbook icon under the device column, and I can't seem to find it. The Macbook also had "(2)" appended after it. Mine looked like this: "Zachary Lawrence's Macbook (2)"
How do I get that appended (2) to go away, and how do I get the icon back into my side bar?

-Click on the Finder icon in the dock.
-From the menu bar, select Finder->Preferences
-In the toolbar, click on the Sidebar tab.
-Check the box for "Hard Drives" under devices.
