When launching iTunes match in Austria or is Germany better than we????

Sorry, we're all apple users here too.  None of us that I know of work for apple.  We are just all apple users that try to help each other out.
I would say as soon as Apple possible can they will launch it in your country.  Might have to do with goverment regulations or music licenses in your country.
Apple wants to take as much of your money as you'll give them so I'm sure they are working hard to give you the chance.

When you try to change your county, you might see one of these messages:

You have at least one incomplete pass. Passes must be complete before you can change stores.

  • My iPad refuse to recognize I have a iTune Match subscription.

I tried it through Settings> Music, n also Settings>iTune Store.
Both just refuse to turn on, gives me the blue window n kept telling me to go buy it online.
My iPhone was doing the same thing at first, but has turned it on thru Settings >iTune Store, the iPad won't recognize I already have the subscription.
    What to do?!

Now I don't know is there a difference btw the two usernames? Does it mean I have two accounts? Just curious.
    No, not necessarily. Probably not.

Also when I'm on Match, I don't see the playlists I have on the computer! How to get them there?
The playlists should sync automatically unless there are ineligible items in the playlists that are causing them to not show up. In iTunes do the playlists have a plain cloud icon next to them, or is it a cloud with a line through it?

If you have not pre-downloaded music to the device, yes, the music will not play without a network connection. iTunes Match requires a network connection.

  • Hi,  can I pay itunes match only with the itunes card in Germany?

because I have no credit card

CHRISRMOR:  With iTunes match, as long as you uploaded all of your songs to begin with, the music should be there when you open a new iTunes on your new hard drive.  You will just have to download it all from the cloud.  If you use iTunes match on other devices, you  can download any or all of your songs from the cloud too.  So to answer your question, yes, you are correct.  When you download iTunes onto your new hard drive, authorize the computer and turn on iTunes Match and update it, then all of your songs should be there.  There is a symbol of a cloud with an arrow pointing downward that will show that it is in the cloud.  If you right-click on that symbol you can download an individual song.  Or if you select all or a group  of songs, you can download all of them with a right-click.

  • Dank iTunes Match halbe Mediathek weg?!

  • Accounts in two countries results in iTunes Match problem

I have an iTunes account for the US store and one for the Germany store. I have iTunes Match only on the US account. I had iTunes Match setup and working well (more or less well that is), then logged into the German store and downloaded some songs I had previously purchased but not downloaded. This resulted in my Mac not being able to be associated to the US account again.
The first time this happened Apple Support unlocked my US account, but they are refusing to unlock it a second time, and say that I need to wait for 90 days.
I would think that using my Mac for stores in different countries is legitimate since I have an address and bank account in those countries, but now I am effectively locked out of my US account and cannot use the full iTunes Match functionality.
Has anyone else run into this issue and do you have a suggestion?
BTW: There are other issues specific to iTunes Match and how it handles purchases from other country stores, but I will tackle that one my account is restored.

You can set up two separate iCloud account, for which you will need two separate Apple IDs.
You can sign one account in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - this will be the 'primary account'. You would enable Mail, Contacts. Calendars etc. as required.
You can then sign in the other account in System Preferences (or Settings)>Mail, Contacts and Calendars. The email Contacts and Calendars will appear alongside those for the primary account, listed under the separate account name.
The secondary account will not get 'Push' email, but will check the server periodically; and only the primary account can use Photo Stream and Find My iPhone/Mac/iPad.

  • ITunes match does not work on my iPhone or iPad

I'm one of these lucky folks who has two Apple IDs because Apple decided to change from the single username to a MobileMe account a while back. Since Apple doesn't allow yet to concatenate both IDs, I have to use the single username ID for the iTunes store and the @me.com, actually @mac.com, ID for the rest.
The problem then is when I want to use my iPhone or iPad with iTunes Match. Both devices want me to register to the @me.com ID but the music is under the single username ID. In fact the iPhone and iPad refuse to accept my username ID if it does not have the @me.com suffix.
It's a mess and it does not work for me now. Has someone found a workaround or some way to get iTunes Match on the iPhone and iPad when there are two different IDs on iTunes?
    Thanks for your help.

It appears that Apple has no idea how to fix this issue of double Apple IDs and iTunes Match. They decided to reimburse me for the purchase of the two iTunes Match I got with my two IDs. This doesn't solve the issue but at least I'm not out of cash for nothing.

  • I can't access my new playlist on my iPhone 4s when using iTunes Match

I recently spent 5 hours combing through my entire digital music collection to compile a playlist of all the songs I want to hear right now.  It is 696 songs and 1.7 days long.  Both my iTunes on my computer and my iPhone 4s have the latest version of the available software.  I cannot see or listen to my new playlist on my iPhone.  I have done the following (with no success):
    1) I have updated iTunes Match.
    2) I have powered off and powered on my iPhone
    3) I have disable and re-enabled Match on my iPhone.
    4) I have disable Match on my iPhone, connected my iPhone to my computer via a USB cord, transfered my playlist that way, then re-enabled Match on my iPhone.  Still, I do not have access to my playlist.  While this did have the desired the affect of putting the playlist on my iPhone, I then could not download the songs that were in the playlist onto my iPhone without Match or performing the laborous task of transfering each song individually via the USB cord.  Not to mention the fact that I play for Match and expect it to work.
    5) I have disabled Match on my iPhone, powered off and powered on my iPhone.  Then, I re-enabled Match on my iPhone.
None of these actions have resulted in the desired occurance.  I have read through the community and when I find someone who said they have fixed the problem, the person either has a minimal grasp of the English language and I do not understand that person or I have already completed the action that the person recommends.
I feel as though, since I pay for this service, that iTunes, i.e. Apple, should address my problem directly, rather than rely on the support of a community of people who are up the same creek, lacking a tool for forward momentum.
I somewhat feel as though I, and all others in a like-situation, should receive a refund for Match or, at the very least, some sort of compensation for time during which it has caused problems.
Additionally, I refuse to ever purchase an apple product again.  They are not the company of quality that they used to be and we are all now just paying top dollar for an subpar product.

Additionally, when trouble shooting, and you disable iTunes Match on an iOS device you cannot simply re-enable it immediately. You must launch the Music app and let the content clear out before re-enabling the service.

  • Can't get rid of iTunes Match

I had horrible problems with iTunes Match on a large music collection - about 4,000 items would not upload or match from iTunes, they just showed 'error'. So after discussing with Apple for 6 months I turned it off and they gave me a refund.
But on my iPhone it seems like it is still remembering all the stuff which was on iTunes Match and it will not sync properly with iTunes. The problem seems to be worse since upgrading to iOS 6.
So I have loads of tracks which will not sync, and duplicate content of other tracks. So some albumbs show (and play) every track twice even though the music only exists once on the iPhone and other albums will not play some (or all) tracks at all.
I've turned off iTunes Match on the iPhone and emptied all music using Settings/Usage. However Music still thinks that all the content is still there - it shows up in dim type but no music is playable because it's not really there.
I attempted to resync. This works the first time in that it tries to copy all the tracks across, but if you interrupt the sync (and I have to because I don't have 24 hours where I can leave phone and computer in same location) then on subsequent syncs it doesn't attempt to sync the remaining tracks. So right now the phone thinks it contains thousands of songs but about a third of them are dimmed and won't play. iTunes refuses to sync any more as it seems to think the job is done.
I tried turning iTunes Match back on as per a previous tip, but my subscription is expired so it just turns itself off again.
Help! Run out of ideas (other than complete phone reset)
    TIA
    James

well that didn't do any good. it still left about 25 songs which would neither play nor delete. So I reached for iExplorer and deleted the iTunes Control folder as per a previous tip. This successfully emptied the music folder so I thought I was on my way.
Restarted phone, then synced. This simply added the entire music library back on to the phone as before, with all titles dim and nothing playable. iTunes would not copy the music files across, it seemed to be convinced that they were already there.
So I have done a reset and restore from backup, and the tracks now appear to be syncing across.

  • One iMac, two OSX-accounts and one iTunes Match, how do I get it to work?

I have one iMac to work with and two different User-Accounts for my daily business. I use iTunes-Match and I would like to use it on every User-Account. On the forst Account I already acitvated iTunes-Match succesfully. But on my second User-Account it refuses to work. If I start-up Match in iTunes it compares the files (at least iTunes tells me so) and after that I am back at the beginning, where I shall click "start".
Something doesn´t really work here. Is it because it is impossible to use multiple User-Accounts on a Mac with the same iTunes-ID and iTunes Match? I am not talking about different iTunes-Accounts! I am talking about the same iTunes-Match-Account on two different User-Accounts of Mac OSX

    There we go...
On the first user-account iTunes Match is working fine. No problems on that.
What I did on the second User Account:
    1. I logg on to the second user account
    2. starting iTunes
    3. selcting iTunes Match and then "activate"
    4. after I enter the corresponding Apple-ID, iTunes Match starts to compare the lokaly saved music with iTunes Match which takes about 10-15mins (Step 1 through Step 3)
    5. after that, it shows me the button "finished"
    so far so good
If I press the button "Finished" it jumps back to the initial Screen, where it starts over with Step 1
    That loop never stops.
So there is something not quite working at all.
Is that better to understand? I don´t think, that screenshots will help at all, as there is now difference to the coorect messages. There are no error messages

  • You can use iTunes Match on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 5 days.

I only have 1 Apple ID.  I turned off iTunes Match on my iMac, and now I cannot turn it back on.  I get this error when I try to just turn iTunes Match back on, on the same computer, with the same Apple ID that I used orginially to subscribe to iTunes Match:
This computer is already associated with an Apple ID.
You can use iTunes Match on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 5 days.
I checked for iTunes updates.  None are available since I am using the latest.
    I stopped/started iTunes.  I rebooted the iMac.
    NOTHING HELPS!!!!!!!!
I have a Mac Mini and I use the same Apple ID on iTunes there.  I was able to turn iTunes Match off and back on with no trouble at all but my iMac refuses to allow me to turn on iTunes Match.
    Now what do I do?

Unless you really only have one AppleID that you use with the iTunes Store there's really nothing you can do. In the case of having only one AppleID you should contact iTunes Store support, since that would be a server-side problem.

  • ITunes Match on a Synology Nas - many exclamation marks in the first row

    Hi,
I transfared my entire iTunes Libary of roughly 26.000 Songs (1.000 plus bought on iTunes) to my Synology NAS.  Now when I start iTunes on my MacBook via WiFi it takes quite some time to be ready to play. Each time I open the Library on my NAS iTunes iTunes Match updates.
iTunes looks like it's hung up, but it's just increadibly slow working in the background. Afert around 15 to 30 Minutes it's throu with it, however it shows on many songs an exclamation mark in the very first row where there's no title to it and in the column with the cloude symbole on top.
When trying to play on of these songs it says: "The Title "Nothing Changes" cannot be played, because iTunes cannot find the original. Do you want to search for it?" Then I say: "cancel", double click on the same file again a a few seconds later the cloude icon switches from exclamation mark to the download symbole and I can play the song.
Why is iTunes Match searching each time for changes in the library, even when opening iTunes three times a day...  Can I determine how often iTunes Match should update the Library?
    Thanks for help!
    Daniel

Is the NAS mounted when you open iTunes? If not, then of course iTunes can't find the music files.

  • My itunes match will not sync properly

    Mac User same thing
Hello there here is my problem. My itunes match will not sync properly. It shows a lot of songs over 100 with the icloud match status as "Waiting"
Here is what i have done
    1. Reinstall the entire OS delete everything and start from scratch
    2. Turn on and off itunes match.
    3. Hold down the option key
    4. Move my music out of the music folder clear everything out of my itunes and bing back my music.
    5. Use backup copies of my music in case the music files had been corrupted.
    6. Checked numerious mac community forms that report simular issues.
    7. Tried another macbook pro that I have
    8. My wifes account which has about 8000 songs did no have the issue. My account seems to have the issue sobeservices2. I beleive this to be account specific. My account has 11481 songs and about 100 to 100 show with the status of "waiting"
    9. I get no error messages
    10. I've tried multiple ISP - COMCAST - FIOS - I even tried multiple computers
    11. Redid the entire os
    12. My account has problems "*****s2" but my wife account does not
    13. Replicated the issue on more then one computer it seems only has problems with my itunes account. Suck waiting to upload
and its not always the same songs sometimes it's different songs that it gets suck waiting to upload.
    14. Removed the waiting songs and attempted again
    15. Started with fresh iTunes had the server match a blank itunes folder  to the point where it said "0 Songs Match" then re-added them
    16. Called Apple Care and spoke with a Senior Advisor who told me he would have to escalate a ticket and he to thought I had done all the tsing possible and that it was up to the engineers to figure out a solution.
I have been working on this for about 4 weeks now. All my trouble shooting has pointed it to be an account specific issue.
    Any advise from the community

    Hi
I have had a similar set of issues.  8000 songs, 800 in waiting.  All ripped from CD into Apple Lossless - mainly classical so most didn't match directly.
First I ripped all these 8000 songs for my father first on his laptop from his CD collection.  Eventually got them all matched or uploaded to his Match account (except one) by the usual tricks people suggest (e.g. recoding as AIFF or MP3 etc, deleting, re-adding blah blah). Though of course I shouldn't really have to waste my time doing this.  One song absolutely refused to upload. Tried everything - including buying a pristine downloadable version off the publisher's website.  Still resolutely refuses to upload.
Anyway - main problem is now with my PC. I copied all these 8000 tracks over. Re-installed everything etc.  800 remain in "waiting" (even though they uploaded Ok on a different account).  When I rip my own CDs even some common stuff (e.g. Bowie/Stones) gets uploaded instead or matched and often with one or two tracks stuck in 'waiting'.
If I then look at my IPad (with Match enabled), it will show these waiting tracks as if they were already downloaded to it (which of course they are not). If I try and play one of them it just skips over it.
