ITunes Match in Italy: Error 5002

Hi, this week iTunes Match becames avalible for Italy, too. But When I try to purchase it, iTunes asks my password, starts "Purchasing iTunes Match" but after a few seconds it says: " Could not purchase "iTunes Match". An unknow error occurred (5002). There was an error in iTunes Store. Please try again later ".
What I have to do?

  • Can't activate iTunes Match or Genius Error -3000

    I can not activate genius or match itunes, I get error -3000 that was after upgrading to version 10.7.0.21 before was perfect, in fact I have already deleted all libraries and even I uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists , I have no firewall that is preventing communication, or anything, I've also tried turning off the firewall in Windows 7 without success. Any suggestions?

    Looks like I got it working.
    I logged out of iTunes, rebooted the device, and signed in again. Then the toggle that turned on iTunes Match appeared.

    when i try and open ituns match it says error please sign in, so i sihn out and sign back in andit tells me the same thing again. also on my iphone it says no itunes match subscripion, but i still have it till next year.

    One of the fixes someone else mentioned for this is to set itunes to ADMINISTRATOR privileges. 
    Once i did this, every time i log on to itunes i no longer run into the requirement to log in to icloud again.

    According to this article  Using iPhone on an airplane  you should be able to listen to music with Airplay Mode enabled.
    Make sure you have Music switched on in Settings > Store or your music won't download via Wi-Fi.

  • TS1424 Can't get itunes match due to error message

    I recently purchased itunes match however, don't appear to be able to get past stage 1 before an error message appears. It reads-reporting error '4010' or '4002'. It has been going on for 2 days now. I am using iMac OS X version 10.7.4. Can anyone help please?

    I just want to say "thank you" for your response to my issue.  I have been trying to get my fax working since I realized there was an issue a few weeks ago.  I searched for resolutions and tried several which didn't work.  I did as you suggested and now have an upgraded E-Fax account in order to send faxes.  I have not had the opportunity to send a fax yet but feel there shouldn't be an issue using their website.  Again thank you for you help.

    I tried to activate iTunes Match on a second PC (Win 7) with iTunes 10.5.2 after I successfully activated it on my first PC.
    Everytime I start iTunes Match I get following error (translated from German):
    "The Genius-results can not be updated. The required file could not be found."
    Same when I try to activate Genius.
    Can someone help me?

  • ITunes Match song download error on iPhone

    All songs matched or uploaded sucessfully.
    I've tried to download just 1 playlist after enabling match on my iPhone 4, but 3 songs are stuck in download queue in iTunes (phone).
    They say 'download error, tap to try again'
    When I tap the progress bar shoots up really fast then at processing they fail.
    Anyone any ideas?

    The only way that worked for me was deleting the songs in iTunes (both iCloud and Mac while keeping the files). Then updating iTunes Match. Next, drag and drop the album back to iTunes and update Match.
    Next, on iPhone, the only way that worked to download them is to actually playback each song in the album NOT "download all" button or even individual download button. If I use the buttons, it downloads part of the song then I get the error message or it stops midway and you can't delete the song from the download queue. Again, the only way that worked for my iPhone was to playback each song without skipping any of them and they easily downloaded on my phone. Hope this helps
    PS: The check downloads on iTunes did nothing to me as it never showed the iOS queue items, only my undownloaded purchases from iTunes Store.

    Exactly the same problem here. As far as I can see this problem has been around since Match was first released with no action from Apple to rectify it. I've spent days trying to get this to work now and unless I get a fix soon, I'm going to pull my Match membership and ask for a refund because this is not what I signed up for...

  • Cannot download iTunes Match songs - Getting error (8364)

    My iTunes completed the Match process.
    Generally, I have two kinds of songs with a cloud icon:
    Songs that I had previously purchased, but were currently not in my library in any form. (No MP3 or AAC version.)
    If I click on the cloud icon, these songs download just fine.
    Songs that I had previously purchased, but were in my library in another form. (Usually as an MP3 - I had converted it to MP3 or ripped it from somewhere.)
    The MP3 version will show as "Matched" and I will have an iCloud version right below it that shows with a iCloud icon and it has a status of "Purchased". But when I click on the iCloud, I get "There was a problem downloading [Whatever the song title is] An unknown error occured (8364). Please check that the network connection is active and try again."
    If I try to click the same iCloud icon again, I get "There was a problem downloading [Whatever the song title is]. An unknown error occured (-50). Please check that the network connection is active and try again."
    I can immediately go an download a song that fits case 1 above and it works fine.
    I tried deleting the MP3 versions from my library first, and that didn't do anything. I get the same error.
    iTunes Match isn't going to be all that useful if all my iCloud music isn't going to be able to be downloaded.
    I also tried turning iTunes Match off and on again, and I tried restarting the computer too.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm encountering the same problem, and related issues.  One Allan Parsons song I purchased ("Damned if I Do" from the Eve album) was listed twice after Match completed, with two different lengths and two albums listed.  Prior to running iTunes Match I only had one copy of it, so something is very broken in Apple land.

  • Cannot connect to iTunes match an unknown error 4001

    when i try to connect itunes match return an unknow error 4001, why?

    I have managed to get iTunes Match working on my system by doing the following steps.
    1. Click on the store tab and select "Turn off Itunes Match"
    2. Did step one and selected "Turn on Itunes Match"
    3, Selected Itunes Match and clicked Add machine button that is at the bottem of the screen, and then logged in with my Itunes account
    4. The error would then appear again (error 4001) before step 1 could be completed
    5. Went onto my itunes music where a cloud symbol has appeared next to each track in the cloud columb. At the top of the columb menu's i have clicked the cloud symbol which organises each track into the tracks that are eligible and ineligible (this included tracks that were missing on my hard drive)
    I then removed all the track that were ineligible leaving me with tracks that were elidgible
    Then went back onto Itunes Match and began the 3 steps to match my music with the cloud, i was then able to get past step 1,2 and 3 and was able to match my music.
    This worked for me, im not sure if its a complete fix accross the board but it allowed be to get around the errors that were appearing.

    forgot to mention, im from the UK so im performing on the UK itunes and was able to get it working at 22:18 (UTC)

  • ITunes match storage full error on I devices

    If I have iTunes match enabled on i devices it comes up with the message saying say storage is full. I haven't downloaded any songs at all I just stream it. I have never had this issue before until it was time to renew iTunes Match

    When you 'stream' music from the cloud it will cache the song on your device (i.e take up storage space).  To clear this cache go to Settings -> General -> Usage -> Music then swipe right to left on 'All Music' and select delete.  The space will be cleared.
    I would have thought though that the system would clear the cache if more space to 'stream' a song is needed.

  • Some iTunes Match songs have errors

    I'm matching my music collection to use it with others iDevices, and I just find out that some songs (like "Star Sail" from The Verve) have errors.
    Have it ever happened to you?

    You can delete a song off of your phone by swiping to the left on the songs title.  A red delete button will show up and then press the delete button.  After this you'll see a cloud icon that you can push to redowload the songs.
    Also, have you tried hard resetting your device?
    Sometimes that helps free things up that get glitched.  I don't have the paticular answer to your problem because I have not experienced it yet.  I know sometimes things take a minute to start to play but that is with match turned on and it is having to dowload the file. 
    If you turn match off on your device it takes a minute to take everything that was not dowloaded off your device too.
    If you turn match off on your device sometimes the best thing to do is plug it into itunes on your computer and resync it with your computer.

    this is driving me crazy....
    I m trying to change iTunes Store country and every time I go through the process (on macbook air, iphone 6 and iPad mini...always the same result), I get the same message....'cant connect to iTunes Store', 'We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (5002)'.
    I have tried everything I could think of and everything I have seen online as possible solution - nothing works. i tried with the old country billing address and card details still in my profile, as well as with the new country billing address and card details. makes no difference.
    need some help please!!

    I just got the service yesterday but there's an error coming out any time I want to upload my songs. It says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (4001). Does anyone knows what this means?

    Many threads for this 4001 error, and all of these are unanswered!!!!
