ITunes Match Subscription Help

Is it possible for me to use the $30.00 already on my account to subscribe to iTunes match instead of adding a card?

It is my understanding that while you can use things like gift cards, if there isn't a credit card associated with the iTunes account you want to set up with iTunes Match, they will still require you to provide a card # for their records.

    Hi Roger
    Thank you for your reply.
    My original feed is: http://casa-egypt.com/feed/
However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is  http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.
    Thanks is advance.

  • Can I cancel Itunes Match Subscription?

    Hello,
While living in the UK during my 2 year visa, I downloaded Itunes Match.  I have now returned home to Canada.  I need now to change my billing information and my country/region in order to download any new music or apps.
In the Itunes Store under Account information i am given the option to change my country or region , when doing so I get this message " You have an active Itunes Match subscription; you must cancel it before you change stores."
I have the option to -do not renew-, but no where can I find to "cancel subscription" . Please help, I would like to use the App and Itunes store again. What do I need to do?

  • How do I move my iTunes Match subscription to another country

I subscribed to iTunes Match 2 years ago, when I lived in Australia, and have renewed it again recently. Part of this process was to match 25,000 music tracks which took weeks to complete. It also chewed through a huge amount of bandwidth.
I have now moved across the Tasman to New Zealand and have a new username and password for the NZ store. However, my iTunes Match tracks are only available under my old Australian iTunes account.
How can I move my iTunes Match subscription from Australia to New Zealand without having to upload/match all of my library again? Or have to pay another annual subscription?
    Hoping someone can help me!

  • ITunes Match Subscription Prices?

    To Whom It May Concern:
I am curious about the iCloud and the new iTunes Match subscription fee that is being offered. I am looking at the information from the main apple site and see the fixed price of the iTunes Match Service from the "feature" section and see that it costs an annual fee of $24.99 for 5,000 songs and also an annual fee of $24.99 for 20,000 songs. Can this be a typo error? If not, wouldn't the customer just buy the second option for 20,000 songs for their money's worth? If it is a typo, I would like to point that out that there could be a price error and can bring a lot of confusion like me. Can someone clearify this information please?
    Thanks for helping me out.

No it is not a typo it's just indicating that the price is the same even if you have more songs.

  • ITunes Match subscription says expired

I just got the iPhone 5 and I have iTunes Match subscription until July of 2013. So plenty of time left and I have it turned on on my phone and when I'm on wifi it seems to work fine but if I'm on cellular data after about 20-30 minutes of using it it says my subscription is expired and everything stop working. I haven't tried to call apple yet but it's extremely frustrating. Anyone know what's going on?

    Follow up...
Okay, so after spending 2 hours on the phone and chatting on the computer with Apple, nothing got resolved.  I was extremely annoyed, and after I got off the phone, I ended up fixing iTunes Match myself.  This has got to be the easiest solution and I'm kind of annoyed with myself that I didn't try this sooner...
    Here's how:
    Restart the phone
    Open Settings--->Music
Scroll down to iTunes Match (should be in the "Off" position) and turn it "ON".  HAHA...for some reason, it is working just fine now for me.
I wish it was more complicated or makes me look smarter than I am, but it was just that I needed to reset and turn the feature back on.
    Hope this helps...

  • I've moved countries and wanting to update in my profile. It won't let me change countries until I cancel my itunes Match Subscription - how do I do that?

I've moved countries and wanting to update this in my profile. It won't let me change countries until I cancel my itunes Match Subscription - how do I do that?

You need to reset the password for the "old" account, and then use that to turn off iCloud.  Then you will be able to sign in with your new ID.
You can reset your password at iForgot.apple.com.
If you don't know the answers to the security questions, you will need to start there.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
-If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com.  Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE:  This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
-If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address.  Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466 (If you are in the US), and ask for account security.  You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.
-If you are not in the US, click http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 - Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

  • HT4914 Why can I not update my iTunes Match subscription from my iPad? Must I access from a PC?

I have been getting emails syaing my iTunes Match subscription will expire soon and if I do not renew I will not be able to access my music on iCloud. Also, it says I cannot update my account from an iOS device. But I no longer have iTunes installed on a PC - I only access from an iPad or iPhone. What can I do?

I always get an error message "Cannot update iOS software" or something to that effect everytime I try. I've tried plugging my iPad to my laptop computer and then my computer directly to internet connection (we have a router that allows WiFi access, so I thought I'd try to bypass the router instead), but this did not work.  I've tried restoring my iPad via connected to my computer through iTunes, that worked for a short time and was able to update the apps I wanted, but soon after one of the apps stopped working properly, and then the apps I wanted to get from the App Store just wouldn't install or load...Instead they would be having "Waiting..." for the longest time until I give up and delete them. I've tried restarting my iPad, no luck either.  I've also gone through the Reset process of "Erase All Content and Settings" i.e., Restore, and like mentioned above, it worked for a little while then it went back to square one, as I mentioned a sentence or two previously.
I've no idea what is going on, why it's not working, or anything.  I just wonder if it's got anything to do with a slow internet connection (we don't have high-speed internet access), or something else I haven't found that may be just under my nose.
I would love some help and input into my situation, all and any ways which allow me to keep my current iPad (which is the New Generation one), not having to trash it and replace it with a new one.
Have you tried to restore as a new device? Maybe a glitch exists on the restored backup, try this:

  • Cannot Download Purchased Music After iTunes Match Subscription Expired

The other day my iTunes Match subscription expired (making less money and decided to cut out the cost). I expected to not be able to access music I had stored on my computer (which was the only reason I did Match in the first place), but now, even songs I have very recently purchased using my phone are unavailable. I don't typically buy songs while on my computer, preferring instead to just use the iTunes app on my phone to make the purchases on the go. After purchasing them, I did not think they would not actually be downloaded to my phone. Anytime I try to re-download these songs, I receive a pop up notification stating when my iTunes Match subscription expired. Is there a way to get these songs to play on my phone without having to pay for iTunes Match again? I'm pretty unhappy about this because that was not how Match was advertised to function and don't feel we should have to pay a yearly fee just to be able to restore our purchases we made on the actual device.
My phone is a 32 gb 5S running iOS 8.3.

I've been having a problem similar to this. I click download, it charges me for it and then gives me a message saying there was a problem downloading, an unknown error occurred(-50), check the network connection to make sure it is active and try again. No firewall, no web accelator, network working fine for EVERYTHING else. I think this is because the iTunes servers are overloaded. It seems to have started once they put movies, tv shows, video games, etc. on the iTunes store. I would imagine the download time of these new services are much longer and more bandwidth taxing than the music they've been selling. I usually continue to try for the next few days, maybe trying during off hours to avoid the bandwidth traffic jams, and this SEEMS to help. Although, this is all pure speculation, it is what has worked for me. Still makes me consider paying more at Borders just so I CAN own it when I pay for it. Seems if you take my money I should get the product. Kinda sucky.

  • I cannot remove songs from iCloud - how can I do it without paying for iTune match subscription?

I cannot remove songs from iCloud - how can I do it without paying for iTune match subscription? Different answers in this forum make it iTune match enabled. But enabling iTune match cost me $24. Help please.

You are correct, you cannot delete songs from iTunes in the Cloud. This is where all of your purchases are permanently stored so if you want to re-download something you can. Sometimes purchases will no longer be available, if the merchant pulls them from the iTunes store, but for the most part, all of your past purchases will remain in iTunes in the Cloud.
This has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes Match.
What is the issue you are experiencing?

  • How do I change my iPad country back to the UK without cancelling my iTunes Match subscription?

When I was browsing iTunes yesterday on my iPad the country linked to my iPad switched to being the US.
I now can't use my iPad to shop in several uk stores.
I don't have easy access to the PC the iPad is linked to with iTunes.  Also I don't actually want to cancel my iTunes Match subscription.

You can try signing out your Apple ID and signing back in at Settings > iTunes and App Stores
    Or, if that doesn't work
    Follow this procedure:
    1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
    2. Tap your Apple ID.
    3. Tap View Apple ID.
    4. Enter your password.
    5. Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change to the desired store.

    Hi,
I presume you deleted the original files as match would not have done so. Do you have a back up. If so, restore your music from that. If not, your will have lost all your music as this needed to be on your hard drive when you unsubscribed.

  • My itunes match subscription will be expiring soon. Will I lose all my music, as they are threatening, if I choose not to subscribe again?

My itunes match subscription will be expiring soon. Will I lose all my music if I choose not to subscribe again?

    Hi,
If all your music is in your itunes library on your computer, you will not lose that music.
If you do not have the music on your computer and stream the music you will lose all your music except for previous itunes purchases. Likewise you will no longer have access to match music.

  • HT4915 Why do I have to pay for iTunes Match subscription to delete songs I've previously purchased from iCloud?

From the support article, it seems that I have to pay for an iTunes Match subscription in order to permanently delete songs from iCloud.  Is there a way to delete songs from iCloud without having iTunes Match?

You don't have to sign up to iTunes Match to play your iTunes music purchases through the iPad's Music app (if you've synced or downloaded them to the app).  iTunes Match allows you to store your own music collection (e.g. copied from CDs, bought from other sites) in the cloud as well as the music that you've purchased from iTunes
    From http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/ :
With iTunes in the Cloud, the music you buy from the iTunes Store automatically appears on all your devices.1 And for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes, iTunes Match is the perfect solution. iTunes Match is built right into iTunes on your computer and the Music app on your iOS devices.2 It lets you store your entire collection in iCloud, even music you’ve imported from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes. When it’s in iCloud, it’s available on all your devices. So you can enjoy all your music anywhere, anytime — on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV.
