as we know that your tunes are available whenever via iTunes match and at quality of 256KBPS
My question is if you have content that is higher than this E.G 320KBPS will you be able access your music anywhere at this quality =????

Actually, that isn't correct. Uploads are only changed to 256kbps if they are greater than 320.
Not that this will help in this case, as matched files will still be at 256.

That's not how to do it. You don't move stuff then set the iTunes prefs > Advanced.
Once you move the /iTunes/ folder, hold Option, launch iTunes and select Choose library... and select the ITunes folder on the external.
This will use the iTunes library file in the iTunes folder you moved.
Don't change iTunes prefs > Advanced.

How about asking the person your playing if they have the app or not.

Win 7 either comes with a virtural XP machine installed, or it's freelly availible. I forget which, but this may be a simple solution to your issue.

Your purchased music is availble for download again at no cost. If you have iTunes match service, you can download your matched music.

If all your music is in your itunes library on your computer, you will not lose that music.
If you do not have the music on your computer and stream the music you will lose all your music except for previous itunes purchases. Likewise you will no longer have access to match music.

I ask because I primarily use my work laptop which has limited space so I usually convert my purchases to 160k from 256k in order to save space. I want to sign up for iTunes Match but I'd like to know before I do so I can understand how I will have to set up my library.

How do you mean? If you down-convert purchased tracks you've fundamentally changed the files so iTunes can no longer recoginize them as "purchased." And, indeed, they no longer are since they are brand new files. Of course these new files will only be "matched" or "uploaded."

I deleted the songs from my desktop (iMac), then I used itunes match to reload the songs back on my desktop from my laptop. When they reappeared on my desktop, then I right-clicked on the songs and clicked on the option to add to icloud. This however did not work, and they just duplicated into icloud, but they were "greyed out" and unuseable. I hope I'm explaining myself clearly? In other words, the songs seem to be trying to go into the cloud, but they are greyed out in my library and cannot download. It is as if they are ghosts? My songs do play fine when I transfer them via itunes match, and everything appears normal. They just won't transfer via the cloud. As I said before, every other song in my library always work fine via the could, but only the songs off this one album that I bought from itunes in 07' will not work???

Do you mean iTunes Match has been running for several days on the initial match of your library? If so, depending on the size of your library this is not unusual.
If atv2 refers to Apple TV 2 then something is very wrong since this will start within minutes.

Yes. As long as all your songs you lost have been Matched or Uploaded to iTunes Match you can download your entire library from the cloud.

I bought iTunes Match and haven't been able to complete the syncing process over several days. It will go thru the steps 1, then 2 and stalls on 3 (uploading art work and remaining songs.) I have had several serious problems over the past couple of years, twice having lost my musical Playlists. I've had to reconfigure them & neither time are they the exact same -- this means, from my conbination of internet buys & manual downloads, there are years of different kinds of files. Any help offered will be appreciated.

This thread is about devices not syncing properly. If your iPod Touch isn't behaving normally it's more likely that there's an issue with the device itself.

I just moved to another country and wanted to change my land and bankcard information but
when i try it there is a message that i first have to deactivate itunes match before changing countries.
I tried to turn off itunes match but it doesn't work. and I still can't change my land.
