Itunes movie trailers

is there a place you can complain about the trailers they post for movies soon to be released on itunes.  Wow i saw that Highlander comes out tomorrow and just watched the trailer and it makes no sense of what the movie is about it looks like they just took the first minute of the movie and called that the trailer.  It would have made much more sense to use the theatrical trailer that actually explains alittle about the movie.

This seems to happen when a new itunes download appears - and then when the next itunes is released you will find you can download them again.  Been happening for maybe the last six itunes updates as this is the third time I've found I cannot download trailers.

  • Cannot install "iTunes Movie Trailers App" on new iPad

    Hello all,
I just got the new iPad (3rd Gen.).
I am trying to install the iTunes Movie Trailer App (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/itunes-movie-trailers/id471966214?mt=8)
For some reason, after clicking the install icon, I get an error Pop-up screen that says "Action could not be completed".
I have installed plenty of other Apps with no issues at all.
Is this App only for U.S.  users (I am from Canada)?
I suspect it is something like this because my son also cannot install this App on his iPod touch.
    Any ideas?
    Christian

I am actually seing it in Canada.
Nevertheless, it should be able to say "Not available in your region" before I even get the possibility to download.
Like for example, if I go on the MTV website, I cannot view their videos, they give a proper message.
For sure they would be able to do the same in a more user-friendly message.
Another good example, go see this App for the BBC, first thing they say: Exclusive to the UK.

Simple, one line says it all.

  • ITunes Movie Trailers App for Australians

I loved Frontrow on my mac.. and when i updated to Lion I lost it... I always go to the Itunes trailer area on itunes... I saw this app yesterday and thought awesome.......
but guesswhat..... it's like most things ..... Australia is the forgotten ugly duckling.... Books and tv shows and movies which I could buy from the US Itunes store arent availbale here in australia...
    what a joke...
Its a digital world apple.. and we speak english down here... what ever is available in the  US should be available here
    grrrrrr
hopefully someone will agree with me ... try downloading I am number 4 book from Ibooks... in the US 100% ok here in Australia nope..
How can I get iTunes Movie Trailers?
iTunes Movie Trailers is available in the App Store.
In which countries is iTunes Movie Trailers available?
iTunes Movie Trailers is only available in the United States.
    what the??????

I feel your frustration.  However, this is not Apple's fault, but rather the owners of the rights to TV, Movies, Trailers, Books and so on.  Until a deal is negotated Apple just can't release that stuff world wide.  The same has happened in Canada and the UK (where thye speak English also).
In a similar way the BBC iPlayer app can't be used outside the UK.

  • All of a sudden my iTunes Movie trailers don't work

I was wondering if someone can help me I am slowly going insane, last week my
iTunes movie trailers was working beautifully, but this week when I press play
the screen just dims and the trailer will not play, any help would be greatly
    appreciated

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • ITunes movie trailers not playing? (2)

I have been unable to view iTune trailers. Even though I have the latest 9.0.3 (15) version and standard broadband in NW London.
I have found changing the options of preferences - playback - play films & tv programmes has fixed the trailer playback on my system, suprizingly enough!
    Rinnekoti

Ok, I think I may have figured this out. After all the hub bub about Comcast and their bandwidth throttling, I thought might change my DNS setting with OpenDNS. Well the minute I changed them, boom, the trailers loaded both through iTunes and my Apple TV without issue.
Could my isp (Suddenlink in Kingwood, Texas) be throttling traffic from particular sites like iTunes? I hope not. I did another bandwidth test after my OpenDNS changes and the speed is still 8mbs so speed was never the issue.
Hope this helps someone else out.

  • Safari 4.0.3. and (or not) iTunes Movie Trailers

Since updating to 4.0.3 I can't watch trailers on the Apple site. I get the QuickTime logo with a question mark over it.
I want to report this to Apple, but I can't find a Safari specific report form.
Has anyone experienced this same problem with Safari and QuickTime?
Or any suggestion as to how to report this to Apple?
    Much appreciated!

All of your links work fine for me.
    Perhaps your FlashPlayer needs updating.
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash
(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
You should also ensure that you have downloaded and installed the correct version for your Mac of Security Update 2009-001 (and for Tiger only, 2009-002 and 003). (N.B. Security Updates require both a restart and a permission repair.)

  • ITunes movies: list of upcoming releases: where did it go?

    HI there,
anybody know where to find the list of upcoming movie releases? iTunes used to have a quick link for this, but nowadays I can't seem to find it.
    Thanks in advance!
    B.

    Hey Burliness,
Thanks for the question. The iTunes Store has a section that outlines future iTunes releases available to pre-order:
    Pre-Order Movies
    https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewMultiRoom?cc=us&fcId=1888 22088
As for future theatrical releases, you may be interested in checking out our iTunes Movie Trailers website:

  • Movie trailers are missing

Did anyone notice that Apple removed the movie trailers embedded in the iTunes store pages about 2 months ago?
I used to like to watch the trailers and read the reviews before deciding to rent.

    Hey Yohs,
Thanks for the question. Trailers are still available in the iTunes Store, at trailers.apple.com, and in the iTunes Movie Trailers application. Are you able to view trailers when visiting trailers.apple.com ? If not, try removing your browser’s cookies:
Safari 6 (OS X Mountain Lion): Remove cookies and other data

  • Can't play Movie Trailers from iTunes Store!

I am wondering if anyone knows why I cant watch free movie trailers on the iTunes Store? It follows as far as letting me choose the size of the trailer cilp I want to watch but after that nothing loads up! the top half of the page is blank! Also I can't watch movie trailers from the apple website through the quicktime option. Yes, I do have Quicktime. Please Help.

I figured it out, it was just that I needed to upgrade my Quiktime player. Quicktime 7 and I can watch all the movie trailers!!

  • HT204370 can i download movie trailers in itunes store

    hi
can i download movie trailers in itunes store

You can't download the trailers, you can only view them in the store.
If you have an iOS device and are in the US (I'm not sure it it's available anywhere else) then there is a Trailers app :
    Features:
    • Access hundreds of movie trailers, clips, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and images, available in HD or SD
    • Explore an interactive, year-long release calendar that helps you plan when you'll be going to the theaters
    • Save favorite movies and theaters for immediate access anytime

  • Jerky playback of movie trailers within iTunes

When I try to view movie trailers within iTunes itself, the playback is jerky. It pauses and stops before resuming.
This is repeatable on two computers (Mac Pro and a Mac Mini), both running the latest version of iTunes and OS X Snow Leopard. I have a DSL connection
Yet, if I use a web browser (Safari) to go to trailers.apple.com/trailers/ , the playback is fine. Which makes me think that there is some setting within iTunes. But I cannot find any setting to change.
    Any ideas?
As soon as I post this message, I'm going to boot up in OS X Lion and see the results.

When I boot into OS X Lion, the playback is fine. I reboot into OS X Snow Leopard, no change (that is, the jerky playback continues).

  • Can't see movie trailers in updated iTunes

iTunes store movie trailers only play audio - video is snow. Also I get the same problem with mp4 files both in iTunes and in Quicktime. How could that be? Aren't these files native to iTunes and Quicktime?!? Thanks.

You could update your video drivers:

  • Movie trailers section missing in itunes store

just downloaded itunes 7.0.1.8, and the movie trailers section is missing from the iTunes Store menu. where'd it go??
      Windows XP

i know it sounds stupid, but there's no movies link either. it's weird. all i've got under the main iTunes Store menu is...
    Music
    Music Videos
    Audiobooks
    Podcasts
    iPod Games
    Pixar Short Films
... no movies. am i completely missing something? i'm not a newbie to iTunes, been using it for years. i think there's something seriously wrong with this latest version of iTunes. i called Apple support and they just advised to remove & reinstall iTunes. tried it but didn't help a thing.
