Itunes movies display as gray boxes in finder
When I bring up movies purchased from iTunes in Finder they display as gray boxes in coverflow view. They will not play in Finder or with Quicklook either. The artwork displays and they play in iTunes and Frontrow. I'm new to Mac's so any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to add Artwork to some of my movies in iTunes. I've done this without issue in the past, but now it just won't work. I go to Get Info/Artwork/Add, the file displays properly in the Get Info window, but then, when I click OK, the window closes, but no Artwork is added, nothing displays in CoverFlow???

This works fine in iTunes 7.5 with either a local or external iTunes folders.
Tagging information gets updated with the file just fine.
Oddly, after you "unsuccessfully" try to add artwork to the movie, going to Frontrow gets corrupt results (read: no movies or TV shows display). However, restarting iTunes will get Frontrow working again.
Another odd issue, if you attempt to delete the iTunes Movie entry, a dialog box will ask if you want to keep or delete the file... if you tell it to delete the file, it won't.
I'm guessing Apple mucked around with the Movie/Video stuff to some degree for all this rental functionality... and it typical (we release it - but don't really test it - apple fashion), broke the Movie artwork stuff.

Watching movies from iTunes and Netflix, the subtitles shows yellow, too small and into gray boxes! I'm having this kind of trouble with my iPad also.
Solution found.
I am a Vodafone customer and installed the Vodafone app which asks you to turn off wifi connection on installation as it needs to communicate with their servers over 3G.
After restoring the iPad via iTunes this is the only app that I did nor re-install and seems to be too much of coincidence that while in full screen view watching films my wifi is switched off and 3G data connection is established 10 - 15 minutes into a fiilm and my data allowance gets eaten up!
I would also get push notifications from Vodafone saying "my daily data usage was almost used" with this app installed.
Have tested and on 3rd time watching sky go still wifi is on after 30 mins.
DO NOT INSTALL VODAFONE APP FROM THE APP STORE. -

Try selecting the thumbnails (Shift+Click) or (Ctrl+A) to select all, then click on the top menu
Edit à Update Thumbnail For Selected Items
If that doesn’t work close Elements and delete the thumbnail cache by navigating to:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\MyCatalog
In side the MyCatalog folder (or whatever name you gave your catalog) you should find a CACHE file:
thumb.5.cache
After deleting that file restart the elements Organizer and wait whilst it regenerates thumbnails.
N.B. The ProgramData folder is sometimes a system hidden file, in which case please follow these instructions before starting.

My computer space is full and i want to remove some of my itunes movies/ t.v shows from my computer but i dont want to loose them completely how do i make it so i can find them under my purchased on icloud?
You can't do that. iCloud does function that way.

I tried to download two movies on Christmas and I cannot find them in my movie section on Itunes
If they were rentals, it's doubtful they are still available.

If they aren't in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ? -
My 2013 MacBook Pro 13" Solid state Retina display stars then it will randomly show a gray boxed message asking:Are you sure you want to shut down your computer. It gives 4 alternatives Re start, sleep cancel or shut down. This is what it shows before shutdown.

We have purchased a movie via Apple TV (2) and its taking too long to load, so we want to watch movie on Itunes on the computer but can't find rented movies on the MAC iTunes
Movies rented on Apple TV aren't transferable to another device. If its taking awhile to load then its an issue with your network.
What is your speed via speedtest.net
1080p requires 8mbps
720p needs 6mbps

If you select the Movies part of your iTunes library, is there a Rentals tab on it ?

Stream iTunes Movies to Roku Box
Does anyone know if its possible to stream movies i have stored on my iMac (which i have loaded into the iTunes Library) to my Roku Box via my wireless network? It would be nice not having to have both a Roku Box and an Apple TV in my AV cabinet.

The screen displayed on the instructions for home sharing described as being found on the left side of iTunes isn't visible on the new iTunes page?? Where do i find that screen i.e., how do I fine the home sharing icon on the new iTunes page?

Emojis in iPad Emoji Keyboard Sometimes Disappear. Only a blank gray box is displayed.

This seems to only affect iMessage.
The Emoji Keyboard is enabled. (Not an app. The default Emoji Keyboard that comes with iPad)
I can touch the smiley face between the 123 & mic symbol. Usually this works fine, but sometimes I just get a gray box, no emojis display. I cycle through all the groupings on the bottom, all show a blank gray box, no emojis. If I double tap the Recently Used, they often come back, but not the others. Maybe recently used are stored locally, not loaded from a server? This problem usually persists for hours or a day, then resolves on its own. I don't know why this happens, or how it fixes itself. Exiting iMessage and reopening has no effect. Deleting conversations has no effect. This has happened ever since I first got this iPad Mini. There has already been 2 iOS updates since purchase, problem still happens. It happened last night and continued until a few minutes ago. Now it's normal again. No idea why.
Now for the really weird part: Sometimes even when I can't see any emojis on the keyboard, if I touch the screen randomly, an emoji will appear in my text message. As if the emojis are there, functioning, but they are not displayed on the keyboard, so I have no idea what I'm touching. ???
Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone know how to fix this permanently?Have your tried a reset of your iPad to see if that corrects the problem? Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
