Itunes music store not available in your country yet.

I just did a clean reinstall of OS 10.3.5, and when I try to access the music store I get
"itunes music store not available in your country yet.
You will be able to browse and listen to previews but wont be able to purchase music. To browse music store, select a country below."
So I select United States and nothing happens.
I am in the US and have an itunes account.
The itunes version is 4.2.
Also, what is the highest itunes version I can use with 10.3.5?
I am held down to this OS version because of some other software on my mac that won't work with anything higher than 10.3.5.

First, the iTunes Store has required iTunes 6 at minimum for quite a while now. So you're going to have to upgrade from iTunes 4.2. If you want to run iTunes 7, you'll need to get to Mac OS X 10.3.9. Otherwise you can download iTunes 6.0.5 here, but you won't be able to purchase movies or (I believe) videos unless you have iTunes 7. There's also no guarantee how long iTunes 6 will work.
Second, you've posted in the iTunes for Windows forum. Normally you'll get the quickest and most accurate responses if you post in the iTunes for Mac forum.

Yosemite not available in your country (USA)?

Hi,
I went to apple.com went to the Yosemite tab and pressed upgrade now then and error pops up that say "This item is not available in your country (USA)?" I don't know what to do.

This is outrageous. I clicked already a million times on the Upgrade Now button and it's still not available in the store. I will now through my imac out the window and get myself a Dell, additional i will fly to Haiti, hire a Voodoo doctor who will make sure that every single Apple Employee will receive the worse curse i can think off........
C'mon guys lets be real, Apple is for sure doing its best and if the item is not available in the store, then for sure there is a reason for this. I certainly understand that EVERYBODY wants to update asap, but what difference will it make if you do it now , in an hour or even tomorrow???
Yosemite does has some cool new features, but Mavericks still does a VERY well job, so my suggestion is STAY CALM, wait a bit until it's finally released and stop acting like a little kid
Remember, there are millions of Mac Users, and somehow Apple needs to distribute the access, so let them do their job and soon you will get your own personalized FREE update too

ITunes store not available in my country

Hello Apple mate! I found a big problem on my iPad's App Store.
Last month I found that the App Store appeared a message "App Store is currently unavailable in Malaysian store", I thought that it can be back very soon.
But after a month the same problem come out...
What is apple planning to Malaysian users?? My friends also met this problem. Or can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Unless you can show some form of residency you cannot buy from another country's store. The question on cross store purchasing is asked frequently so I'll just quote the most complete answer (courtesy of Dave Sawyer) from the many given:
In order to buy from any given country's iTunes Music Store, you must have either:
a) a credit card with a billing address in that country, or
b) a mailing address in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
.......this is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice. And this also applies to all the legal download stores that carry major-label content, not just the iTMS.

ITunes music store not updating podcast part 2

Hi there,
I seem to be having the same problem as a lot of people in the fact that my podcasts aren't getting updated in the iTunes music store.
I've pinged my podcast and it comes back with 'No Podcast Found For Ping Request.'
I've used feedvalidator.org to check on possible errors and the only one I can find is when it comes back with this message:
Your feed appears to be encoded as "UTF-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII"
I haven't got a clue what this means....
If you subscribe to my podcasts, the latest one gets downloaded to you, but there's only one appearing in the itunes store.
Can anyone help?

Hey guys, here is what I posted in another thread because I was having a similar problem. Run your rss feed through feedvalidator.org and see if there are any problems-then try to resolve them. Anyway, it's kinda long, but here's what helped me!
I found the answer thanks to Rob @ podcast411.com!! I ran my rss feed through feed validator, and found that I was using a category that iTunes no longer used. I didn't think this would've mattered, but I went into my rss.xml file and updated the category from Sports to Sports and Recreation, and a few minutes later all was well in the ITMS. The trick was finding the rss.xml file. Here's what I did:
Mount iDisk
open web folder
open rss folder
open iWeb folder
open kangaroopodcast folder (this one will be named what you named your website in GarageBand)
open podcast folder
ctrl-click rss.xml file and choose to open with Text Edit (this is where I had my trouble because at first I didn't open it with a different program than the default one and it was some goffy game-I guess apple was trying to mask it so you don't mess up your rss feed)
next make appropriate changes (here you can use the info from the podcast tech specs page to know how to use the proper "language" to make the category change.
Anyway, I know this was long, but I hope that it helps someone else because I spent a while trying to figure it out!

How to BUY an App that is NOT available in your country.

I live in Macau and I want to buy an app (NBA 2k15) that is NOT available in my country. It tells me to change store (US or Hong Kong) but I do not have a valid billing address outside Macau. Is there a work around with this?

App World Not Available in Your Country....

'Blackberry App world is not currently available in your country, Please check blackberry.com/appworld for updates.' - Whenever I try to access to blackberry app world I get a pop-up saying what I have written previous. I am from the yemen and have been using App World previously, the last time I used it was about an hour ago so it is only a recent problem. I have updated to the latest software not too long ago, I have reinstalled App world and still no joy. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what is happening?

I do not see Yemen listed as an available country for BBWorld...which begs the curiosity as to how you were able to previously use it. Perhaps the prior version of it you were using was certified for your country, but now your country has dropped from the list
It's actually impossible for anyone here, in this user-to-user community, to know for sure the answers to any of these questions. All we can know is that Yemen is not listed as an available country, and hence cannot be expected to function for you. We cannot know if it was previously listed but has been dropped, why that may have happened if it did, nor why you were able to previously use it. All we can know is that you cannot expect it to function based on the information we have available.
Do of course be aware that AppWorld is merely a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. As such, it is not usually your exclusive procurement source -- there are others that you can try:
AppWorld in selected countries
MobiHand everywhere in the world
Handango everywhere in the world
BPlay everywhere in the world
GetJAR everywhere in the world
I have found that there are very few apps that are exclusive to AppWorld. You can search the on-line catalog and then search out other procurement sources, including quite often the developer website itself.
Lastly, do understand that BlackBerry does not have unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. They have to ensure that they and their partners meet local laws and legislation for operating an e-commerce system -- and that can take time, especially given the necessary governmental involvement of each jurisdiction.

Every time I try to download a game onto my phone, there's a pop-up which reads "the item requested is not available in your country" or something along those lines. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?

I can download games onto my iphone 5 cause it says the items are not available in my country (south Africa) is there something I can do?

Other than moving to a country where the apps you want are available, there is no fix.

BlackBerry appworld not available in your country

I have had my pb for 5 months now and never had a problem with wifi. By the today appworld started giving me an error that it is not available in my country. I live in Canada and did nothing to my network to cause this...I was able to get on after a hard boot but the problem keeps coming back. Any Ideas?

My solution is to make my wireless network open (not applying any kind of security setting like wap + unhidden the SSID) then connect with playbook and use the problematic application ( like appworld)
Please don't forget to roll back the change in router, after the problem fixed.

Itunes Music Store not responding

When I want to buy something on the Music Store in Itunes and I enter my account and password a message pops up that says;
"Itunes could not connect to the music store. The requested key chain was invalid. Open Keychain access and run keychain first aid, then try again."
I run the first aid and no results...

Does anyone know why the Games category for the iPhone and relevant games are not available in the iTunes Apps Store in South Africa?
I obviously live in SA and would like to download some games for the iPhone 3G.

Either the answer is:
1) The developers of said applications (if you are referring to the iPhone and iPod Touch apps) excluded south Africa
2) Its an error in the iTunes store.
Unfortunately there is no way of knowing without emailing Apple directly since they aren't going to be able to comment here.

Video purchased from iTunes Music Store not compatible with my video iPod?

I purchased the White Stripes music video for "The Hardest Button to Button" from iTunes, but when I plug in my video iPod, it says it can't copy it over because it "can't be played" on my iPod. I don't understand what to do! All the other videos I've purchased from iTunes has copied/played fine...
Can someone please help me figure out what to do? Is it a bad video and I need to seek a replacement from Apple? I'm using iTunes 6.1, not the newest iPod updater (because of all the problems with it), video iPod, and Windows XP.

Itunes store error not available in your country

today, i attempted to log onto the itunes store and received the following message: "your request could not be completed. the item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store"
I've never had this problem and have not done anything different to my computer, this is out of the blue... now, i definately live in the U.S. and seeing that i cant really find anything on the interweb for a fix, i'm looking for help. I ran my CCleaner and cleared the DNS files. Also, I'm pretty computer illiterate, so talk sloooow....
oh yea, even tho I did not want to update to the new version of itunes, i did that hoping it would correct the problem.

Yes, there are quite a few reports on the forum of the same issue, although no mention of the issue on the Apple Status page. It seems to be a widespread iTunes issue.
