ITunes not authorizing on new computer

I just purchased a new computer, authorized iTunes (3rd computer), and transferred all of my music, apps, movies, etc. Now when I tried to sync with any of our devices, it will not sync some purchased songs claiming they "were not copied because they were not authorized for this computer." iTunes tells me the computer is authorized and I've gone through the steps on apple's website to troubleshoot. Still no luck.

Transferring tracks from an iPod back to iTunes has been covered here a number of times already, but again:
First, you need to prevent automatic synchronzation with a blank copy of iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer, click "cancel" when iTunes presents the dialog box offering to synchronize to the iPod. Or hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys in Windows. This should stop the iPod from auto synching with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 25 seconds depending on your computer.
Then if you're using iTunes 7, you can then copy music that you purchased from the iTunes Store back to iTunes directly (use the Transfer Purchases From iPod command under the iTunes File menu).
If you're not using iTunes 7 or want to copy back other tracks, the easiest way will be to search VersionTracker for "iPod". You'll find a number of utilities that can transfer your tracks and your playlists from your iPod back to your PC.
It's also possible to do this manually, but the procedure is rather involved. If you're interested, though, see this thread:

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Some apps saying "Computer is not Authorized" on new computer

I got a new Macbook Pro about a month ago (not the new new ones) and used Migration Assistant to get all my info over on the new one. Now, when I plug my iPhone into the new computer, only certain applications say "This Computer is not Authorized." When it prompts me to enter my username and password, I do, and it says "This Computer is already Authorized." My iTunes songs work fine, as do the other apps. This is only happening with 2 of my apps. Any ideas?
Also, it won't let me do updates to my apps. When I try to do them from the phone, it says I need to wait until I get to my computer. When I try from the computer, I get errors saying it couldn't update them on the phone. Any ideas on that one?

I am having a similar problem except I have a replacement iPhone instead of computer. I synced my old iPhone 3G, had it replaced due to a problem with the vibrate switch, and tried to restore/sync my new iPhone with all the apps purchased or free downloads from my old iPhone.
I'm getting the error saying some apps are not authorized on this computer. I tried the recommendation to deauthorize iTunes, quit, launch and reauthorize iTunes. But the iPhone sync still gives the same error.

My old computer got fried and I just hooked up my new computer (pc-xps8500) and down loaded the latest version of itunes. When i opened it up my library was empty. I check and it says my computer is authorized. Thanks in advance.

Your library will only be where you put it.
It will not magically appear on your new computer.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your comptuer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to back up, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:

The most common cause for this issue would be media present that is purchased with another Apple ID. When prompted to authorize the computer it may show a different Apple ID. Transfer iTunes library to a new computer not working

I have authorized my new computer as stated in the apple support docs but not all songs are coming over. Only 21 of my 200+ are making it over....I get an error that says "some items could not be transfered b/c they are not authorized...please authorize this computer..." repeat, I have authorized the new laptop. 2) What can I do if my current computer suddenly implodes and I have not yet 'copied/'saved'/otherwise protected my account, as is? -- I have already had my computer crash once and had one of your people help me restore all of the paid for songs (none of the uploaded from my own collection of CD songs, of course, so I had to spend a long time rebuilding that) -- and I believe I was told you could only help me recover that material one or two times altogether, no?
WithOUT purchasing a Mach or iCloud (I actually think I have one of the later, but rarely have checked it) account, is there anything I can do to responsibly protect my account?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.

So I am unclear, did you purchase these songs or import them from a cd?
If you imported them and still have the CD try importing them again and see if they work the delete the others.
Or if you purchased from itunes re-dowwnload and see if they work. Maybe they are corrupted files and this should resove it.

It does not magically appear in a new place. It will only be where you put it.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
