Itunes not connecting iDevices (Apple Moblile device)

I have tried everything described on Apple.com to fix this. Uninstall and then reinstall and Googling fixes trying them out.
What is the problem then?
Apple mobile device does not start! It just happened all of a sudden, I have tried to uninstall several devices and software incl. antivirus. No go.
Often I get the Error 1067, when I try to start it manually.
But sometimes it actually tries to start, and I have tried to trace the error in the program. But no go.
I have discovered that when it tries to start it allocates a lot of memory, It allocates a bit at a time and when it reaches above 100 Mb of memory I guess Windows sees it as a buggy program and cancels it. And it returns the 1067 error.
I have seen a lot of people have discovered a program (Mega..something) that they uninstalled with success. But I do not have that program. Others just restart the Apple Mobile device. But it does not work for me.
Just got a new iPhone 4S that I am unable to switch to from my old 3GS because of this buggy program.
I suspect there might be some conflict somewhere, but since I can't trace the program I do not know where.
If you got similar problems and have a new way to try to fix this, please post it in a reply. Please note that I have really tried everything currently available at both apple and googled solutions.
I forward my thanks.

Well that was an Eye opener.
I did as described and found an old install of Nvidias Network administrator program. Since I did not ever use it, I just uninstalled trough Windows uninstall and now Apple Mobile device starts.
Thanks a lot!
I should have asked in here before instead of hours of net searching an trying different approach.
To everyone else reading this and having the same problem. Try it, it is fairly easy if you know the software on your PC and where to update it.
Apple Mobile Device not stating solved with success.

  • ITunes not connecting to Apple TV with latest 10.5.1 update

The odd thing is that I can play some of my songs through the Apple TV interface but not through iTunes. I keep getting error number -15000 in iTunes. It used to all work great until this lastest update. My iPhones connect to the Apple TV without a hitch. I tried both wired and wireless connections on the Apple TV.
I'm running iTunes 10.5.1, the latest Apple TV software (as of this comment), Windows 7, 64 bit.

Not working for me either. Window 7 64-bit. Everything Apple is allowed through public and private Windows Firewall. I noticed that if I start the Bonjour service from the command line, then I start iTunes, it writes the following messages:

  • ITunes not connecting with Apple TV 2nd Generation using Windows 7

Anyone have a suggestion for a fix with this? I have a new Apple TV (gen 2) that is showing movings, youtube(etc), everything but homesharing of iTunes and Pictures. I have been on with Apple help desk every few days opening ports on the wireless router, changing settings, etc. and it still is not working. Just hoping someone may have a suggestion on how to fix.

I have he same problem: All works perfect except 'home sharing' with itunes in my PC with Windows 7.
I've tried everything I know, also disconecting the firewall and no results.
In my iphone I can use the remote software and this software recognices perfectly the Apple TV and the PC. I can do everything with both.

  • Internet Connection - Your Apple wireless device does not have a valid IP.

I just bought an Apple TimeCapsule and set it up normally, following instructions to my Arris cable network on the Videotron provider here in Quebec, Canada. The TimeCapsule did appear as a wireless device on my MacBook Pro (after updating the AirPort software from the provided CD - as was instructed). I went through the whole installation process to obtain at the end this error:
Internet Connection - Your Apple wireless device does not have a valid IP.
The only provided instructions were to check the cable and then contact your Internet provider. Well it seems clear to me that if I contact my provider and say that the internet connection works fine directly on my computer, also fine through my "normal" wireless router but not with my new TimeCapsule, I won't get much of a response.
After a lot of research, a friend indicated the solution in my case.
You have to really reset the cable modem to convince it to start giving out IPs again.
    To do this:
    1. Unplug your TimeCapsule (possibly you might have to reset to factory defaults - see the documentation)
    2. Unplug your cable modem
    3. Reset your cable modem by pressing the reset button with a pen (or something) for several seconds.
    4. Plug your cable modem back in and let it reboot/restart - until the lights are back on.
    5. Plug in your TimeCapsule
Everything should now work and you can restart your AirPort set-up on your Mac.
    Good luck!

My ISP is AOL.  The service is DSL via a broadband modem.  Somewhere during the setup process there appears to be a communicatiosn issue between the Airport Extreme Base Station and the DSL modem.  When I hook the DSL modem directly to my iMac I can connect to the internet without any issues.
I tried the factory reset and the DSL modem reboot process described in other posts and seemed very close to success...until the internet setup step.  That is where this issue first presented itself.

  • HT1926 Trying to re-install iTunes and the message "Apple mobile device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." But I don't know what to do? Please can someone help, I'm not the most technologically advanced

Trying to re-install iTunes and the message "Apple mobile device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." But I don't know what to do? Please can someone help, I'm not the most technologically advanced person.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

How to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows
Remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS
If the issue continues after restarting AMDS, then you'll need to remove and reinstall AMDS and iTunes.
Completely uninstall AMDS, iTunes, and all Apple software. Click the appropriate links below for steps:
    Windows XP
    Windows Vista or Windows 7
    Restart the computer.
Download and install (or reinstall) the latest version of iTunes from  www.apple.com/itunes. Installing iTunes will also install AMDS.
    Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and connect the device. It should be recognized properly in Windows.
If that doesn't do it, take a look at the security software on your computer. Use this as a guide -> iTunes: Troubleshooting security software issues

  • My iTunes installation via Windows 7 does not install the Apple Mobile Device Support file

I have followed several suggestions to resolve the problem caused because of my update of iTunes does not install the Apple Mobile Device Support folder, thus making it impossible for me to sync my iPhone 4S to my desktop version of iTunes. I have tried to install the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi file and it almost completes the installation before "rolling back" the entire process and giving me a message that there was a problem with the installation. Has anyone been able to solve this problem. I use Windows 7. I have seem some :"solutions" that seem to work for some people, but not for me, and evidently not for many others? Finally, would it matter if I installed Safari on my desktop and tried to install iTunes using Safari?

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

how can i detach my iphone from my itunes (NOT from my apple ID)

    Hello Laurien123,
Can you tell me a little more about your situation?  I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish.   You authorize your computer to sync or download iTunes; you associate your iPhone with your Apple ID, not with iTunes.
Please reply if you can with a little more information, and I'll do what I can to help.
Authorize your computer in iTunes - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201251
Do I need to authorize my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?
No. You don’t need to authorize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but you do need to associate your iOS devices with your Apple ID. Your iOS devices don’t use your available authorizations.
    Have a great day!
