Itunes not displaying tv shows

i do not see a TV shows section in ITUNES. I am still able to see TV shows I previously ordered in my library. Any advice/suggestions? Thanks

You may need to verify that the cable in use and the TV both support HDCP.

Upgraded to Snow Leopard in August 2010 from Tiger.
Originally published 26 podcast episodes using IWeb to MobileMe and successfully had them in the iTunes store. Then upgraded to Snow Leopard and had consistent problems publishing through iWeb, with messages appearing saying that the site hadn’t published on MobileMe or that the upload had timed out.
This meant that I had to upload the whole site whenever I made a slight change or published a new episode. Some of the pages failed to completely load on the website, and none of the new episodes appeared in the iTunes store. However, it was still possible to subscribe to the new episodes through the website Subscribe button.
Earlier this year, the original 26 episodes vanished from the ITunes store.
At the end of June, I moved my server from MobileMe to Rage and subsequently the website publishes without any time out messages or pages not fully functioning. This means that when I come to make updates or add a new episode, I can speedily upload changes.
I have tried to resubmit the feed for the website to the iTunes store but Talking Walking still does not appear in the store (nor do any of the links to the individual podcasts from the website work), however, you can still subscribe to podcasts, but now only those uploaded since August 2010.
I have sent an e mail to iTunes explaining my dilemma but have had no reply.
Would welcome any suggestions as to how I can rectify this issue. Next year is the fifth anniversary of Talking Walking podcasts and it would be nice to see them available again through the iTunes store.

Your feed is at http://www.talkingwalking.net/public/Talking_Walking/rss.xml . It contains episodes running from 23 February 2008 to 20 September 2012 and when you subscribe to this feed in the iTunes application all the episodes appear. The link on your web page is to this feed, so subscribing from the page works OK,
Searching for 'Talking Walking' in the iTunes Store produces a lot of result, none of them relevant or yours. This rather suggests that your podcast has been removed from the Store - if the feed wasn't functioning for an appreciable time this would be a normal reason for removal.
if your feed was originally on MobileMe and you have moved it to another server you have to tell the iTunes Store about this by adding a special tag to the feed - details here:

If you did not do this - and it's now too late - the Store will have been stuck looking for the non-existent old feed, which will very likely get your podcast removed.
You mention seeing the web page for the Store page - it's not possible to check this unless you post the URL.
If the podcast has been removed from the Store you will have to re-submit it as a new one. Unfortunately there is a bug in the automated part of the submissions process which will tell you the feed has already been submitted, even when it's been removed. In order to get round this you will have to change the title of the feed slghtly. You can always change it back later provided that doing so does not change the feed URL - I think this may well happen if you are using iWeb, so be cautious about this.

First, ever since the last iTunes upgrade (the one prior to the latest upgrade that added iTunes match), I have had problems with album artwork displaying on my iPhone. My efforts to solve that issue by deleting and then re-syncing tracks without artwork created another issue: Duplicate songs on my iPhone. The strange thing is, when the iPhone is connected to iTunes and I click "Music" under iPhone, the track list displayed in iTunes shows no duplicates. However, if I navigate on my iPhone (even while connected to my computer), it shows duplicates of several songs. The duplicates appear to be the ones that I tried to delete and then replace to show the artwork.
I have just done a "restore" on my iPhone to try to resolve the this issue since there apparently is no way to clear the duplicates in iTunes (remember - the duplicate tracks are not displaying). I will see if this solves the issue. Does anyone know what is happening here, and most importantly, how to prevent this from happening again? This is very annoying!

ITunes not displaying current files in iTunes Media folder

My iTunes Media folder with all the Music and Applications are there but iTunes does not show all these files
E.g. My iTunes Media folder has 50 albums
iTunes only displays 20 albums.

Unlike Windows Media Player, iTunes doesn't automatically scan your media folders for new/changed files.
*Adding new items/removing orphans*
Try iTunes Folder Watch or iTunes Library Updater. Folder Watch is much faster on the adding files front, can be set to run in the background and includes a useful exclusion feature, however it’s slower at removing orphans. iTLU is better for this although for small numbers of files doing it manually after looking at a list of proposed removals generated by Folder Watch is probably faster still. iTLU can also be set to update iTunes when you've used 3rd party tools to change tag info.
You may need to amend the list of file types these programs look for. My list includes:
.mp3 .mp4 .m4a .m4b .m4p .m4v .mov .wav .aif .mid .ipa .ipg .ite .itlp .m4r .epub .pdf
Note the last 7 types may not be recognised as already being in the library so should either be omitted from the search or you can add (at least for Folder Watch) individual exclusions for files you know are already in your library.

ITunes not displaying Japanese characters...

Ever since a few days ago, iTunes stopped displaying Japanese characters for any of the songs that have them. They display right on the iPod and on my computer, and even if I re-type them, they continue being boxes. But if I copy and paste a section of cubes and paste it into Google Chrome or anything else, they show up just fine...
Is there any way to fix that?

I have two airport expresses hooked up, but I can only get airtunes to work with the express that is 'extending' the range of my network. The airport express connected to my modem will not display in iTunes. How can I troubleshoot this and get both airports to appear in iTunes drop-down????

Hmm, what column is your current view sorted on? Many of them don't keep the tracks of an album together. See Use an album friendly view. Assuming you knew that already a screenshot might provide clues.

It only allows me to see the top of the page in itunes when I enter full screen mode. Any suggestions?

i've seen that effect produced in earlier versions of itunes by the version of itunes not liking a third-party itunes plugin/add-on.
are there any itunes plug-ins/add-ons installed on that computer? if so, perhaps try running through the techniques from this document:

Press the HOME button and power button at the same time and do not release them until the screen goes black and the Apple logo reappears. This should restart your phone.

Itunes not displaying asian characters correctly

my song collection tags will display just fine when i'm just browsing files through finder.
however, when i import these songs to itunes, characters are all garbled up when it is in asian characters like korean and japanese..
is there a way to fix this?
in windows machine this is not a problem.

Same issue going on for me. Like daskaea said, it doesn't show up in the album grid, but shows up fine everywhere else. I personally am encountering this issue for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean scripts.
Attempts to clear the name and re-enter it manually also do not work.
Anyone have any ideas?

Itunes not displaying text only on ipad section tree.

Hi, anyone can help me with this,
i attached my ipad to my pc and itunes detected it but i cant see any text display under ipad,only icon and blank button.
Any idea how to fix this? i had try reinstall latest itunes, restart my pc, and my ipad is original. All seems doesnt help... i hope not to format my PC.

Your iPad is not a cellular telephone. It is not capable of sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages (except when used in conjunction with your iPhone using handoff).
Your iPhone can send and receive iMessages to/from other Apple devices when they (and you) are connected to WiFi or a cellular carrier that supports iMessage.

ITunes not displaying iPod info

I just bought a 32gb 4th gen iPod. I installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. Under devices it lists my iPod but in the main window it doesn't show any information. I have completely removed and re-installed iTunes and restored the iPod to default settings but to no avail :'(. please help can you tell me something else to try that I have not done already???

that did not help but thanks for the sugestion. some updated news: I hooked up my ipod to my brother computer running itunes version 10.1.2.17 and it worked just fine. i'm going to try and install that version for my pc and see if it works.

When I load firefox it does not load my default page, and any page I try to load does not display, only showing (untitled).

My firefox (ver. 3.6.13) shows an untitled page when I load the program, rather than my start page. Any page I try to load only displays (Untitled) and does not load. My Internet Explorer displays web pages normally.

ITunes not displaying some songs on Library

Okay I've had this problem for quite sometime and it's been bugging me because I have no idea how to fix it.
It seems that whenever I change the actual file name of the song (ie. songs that I've ripped from CD's that that say "Track 1" I just change the file name to their appropriate titles) iTunes does not "allow" them to be on my library or something! Whenever I try to add the song it does not show up!
Does anyone know whats going on here?

Not that it doesn't allow, simply that it can no longer find it. Just go back to iTunes, double-click on the track, and it will tell you it can no longer find it and will ask you if you want to locate it. So, just navigate to the new filename and you will be good to go.

ITunes not displaying 'copying files' when importing songs

When importing a large number of MP3 files, say an albums worth, iTunes refuses to display the 'copying files' progress bar at the top of the window. It is a process of trial and error clicking on the arrow to get the right progress bar to display, when and if I manage to get the appropriate progress bar up it will not stay for longer than a few milliseconds. Is this something I can fix or yet another sloppy bug in iTunes 7?

Welcome to the group. I'm not sure why hitting the arrow next to the box isn't working as mine always works. I have the latest version and haven't had a problem yet.

ITunes not downloading TV show?

ITunes isn't letting me download season 2 of Downton Abby that I just Purchased. It says "You have already purchased this item but it has not been downloaded. To download it, select Check For Available Downloads from the Store menu." But when I do as instructed it does not work. Any advice?

Will probably have to send them a mail. I'll wait for a day or two to see if it shows up.
