I installed my new printer and ever since i installed it itunes cannot find my ipod when i plug it in and i tried uninstalling my printer but it still wont work, can any one help please...??

> Restart your computer
> Uninstall & Reinstall iTunes

> Restore iDevice completely (will delete everything)
> Make sure both iTunes and iOS firmware is Up-To-Date

There is nothing anyone can do to help you if the battery is dead on your device. Find My iPod only works when the device is on and connected to cellular or Wifi.
If you have misplaced it and are looking for it, you will just have to keep looking.

When I connect my ipod to itunes library, it does not reconize it and makes a strange connect sound.

Also, if you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. -

Try resetting it (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). The Home screen should redisplay after the reset is complete.

Before that, I can see an botton said my ipad. And then I can click it to operate my ipadTry this
Go into the control panel. Add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, Apple mobile device service, apple application support. Then go out and redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again.
There seems to be a glitch with a recent update and one way to overcome it is to just start over. If that doesn't work there are more in depth things you can do. -

EEEgads, I have used ITUNES for my Ipod Shuffle for years and now it is a nightmare with 11.0, I can't find my Ipod when I connect to Itunes, it is a new Win 7 PC. It used to show up on left side and I would slide podcasts right over to it for years, I have installed 3x with removing old install. You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.
