ITunes not recognizing any of my devices

Hello - about 2 hours ago my iTunes (10.7) running on a Mac w/ 10.8.2 stopped recognizing my devices (iPhone 4S w/ iOS 6), Ipad (gen 1) and Apple TV (3 gen). I reset my apple tv, turned on/off Home sharing (all devices are indicating they have the right Apple ID),turned off wifi and shut down everything. Not sure what else I can do. I even tried to connect my Remote app again to either itunes or apple tv, but it could not find either. What to do... what to do

  • My Airport utllity is not recognizing any of my devices

My TC and AE are flashing amber and airport utility does not recognize any. It was working fine until yesterday. I tried to set up my time capsule to make sure that was the right network and when I clicked continue, it did not recognize any of the devices. How can I solve it?

Have you followed the instructions in this manual?

See Page 46 or Page 42 depending on whether your AirPort Express device is 802.11n or 802.11g.

  • Itunes not recognising any of my devices?

I plugged in my iPod nano 7th generation the other day to sync a new album to it and a message popped up saying: 'An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the device.' The iPod worked fine the day before this happened so I have no idea as to the cause. I followed all of the steps on the apple website and forums and nothing worked. I then tried to put the songs on my iPhone 5S, which it was connected to over wifi, when the sync failed. I plugged the iPhone in and the exact same message popped up? I took it to the store and they said to replace the iPod, but its obviously not the iPod its my computer.
I've already tried fully uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it and still nothing, i've updated drivers and deleted preferences, switched wires and ports and pretty much everything else on the web and I'm honestly clueless as to what the next step to try is!!
Since when did putting a new album on an iPod get so tricky?

  • ITunes 12 not recognizing any attached devices

I have installed uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 12 about 3 times.  It will not recognize any of my devices, iphone, ipod, ipad, etc.  My PC is running Windows 8 and it is seeing the usb connections each time I attach a device.  iTunes does not see them.  I ran the diagnostic and it stated that no devices are connected.   I tried reverting to a previous version, but the update changed my library which the older version will not recognize.  Has anyone found a solution?

My itouch is not recognized by my computer, device manager or itunes. However, it will charge on a wall charger. I'm not able to upload any of my music to my itouch now because its not recognized. Ive tried connecting to 3 other computers and used 2 other cords, but the itouch still isn't recognized by any of them. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all of my apple programs and it's still not working. Any ideas?

  • Itunes not recognizing my devices after installing 11.1.4

As per itunes message to update to latest version, I updated to 11.1.4 on my PC. I'm running windows 8.1, 64 bit. After updating and restarting computer, itunes will not recognize any of my devices. iphone4s, ipod touch 5g, ipod touch 4g. The devices "are" recognized on the computer when plugged in via usb. I guess this would indicate that the usb cables and the drivers are good.
All of my itunes libraries for the associated devices open up just fine. All of the contents are in tact. It's just that the device is not recognized in itunes when opened. Any suggestions would be much appeciated.

    Windows 8.1, 64bit
It appears that the 64bit install messed up the device drivers for the Apple mobilie devices connecting as USB.
I tried many things, I may have missed a step below.  But the following is what I believe was the fix - since it worked on a 2nd PC.
Make sure you are using an administrator account.  Any of them on your machine will do for the following
    a) Get Windows to restart the drivers:
        - disconnect your USB device and close ITunes
        - connect your USB device
        - if ITunes loads, close it.
    b) File explorer:
Open File explorer and browse to
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
In that folder there should be a set of files named "usbaapl64...."
right click on the one ending in "INF"
    Select Install.  It's very quick.
    remove the USB device
    c) Restart the computer.
When you login again, load ITunes before you attach your USB device.
