The iTunes Stores in some countries do not sell music.  You can check your country in this document:

  • My iPhone says "iTunes not supported in this country. I live in the USA. How do I fix this???

Every time I go I the iTunes app it says "ITunes not supported in this country." I live in the USA and have never been outside of it with this phone. Please help. I am VERY frustrated.

Are you visiting a different country? Is your credit card or adobe ID registered to a different country?

  • Itunes store not supported in this country

    Hi
itunes on my iphone was working fine.
However, today when I try to connect I get the message "the itunes store is not supported in this country".
The problem appears to be intermittent as it works ok again after several attempts (then stops again).
My wifi, mail, safari etc are all ok.
Does anyone else have this problem?
    Thanks

I have seen that message here in Slovakia, too. The Slovak iTunes store has apps only, no music or video, and it is the only iTunes store I can reach on my iPhone. My computer is a different matter - I can switch back and forth between the US store, where I can get podcasts as well as free apps (I can't buy anything with my Slovak credit card). When I get that message on my phone, I download what I wanted on my computer and then synch it to the phone.
I have only gotten that message since the update to 2.2, so I suspect Apple is up to its regional tricks again.

  • Help - 'iTunes Store is not supported in this country'?

First, since I'm new to this, please forgive me it this doesn't belong here.
So, I just got an iTouch today and followed the directions that came with it for setup. But when I attempted to access the iTunes store, I saw the following message:
'Cannot Connect to the iTunes Store
The iTunes Store is not supported in this country.'
I'm very confused by this message, since I live in NYC.
Anyone come across this before? And if so, how did you correct this?
    Thanks in advance.

Log into your itunes account on your computer. Then sync you ipod. This should set up your itunes account properly on your ipod.

  • The App Store is not supported in this country

Hi, everyone I live in Hong Kong, and I bought my Ipad in US. When I click on the App Store. It said "The App Store is not supported in this country' How can I solve this problem? Thx for help =]

The Apps Store on your iPad will not work until the iPad is officially released in your country. However, you can buy most apps in your computers iTunes software/account. Type iPad in the apps tab search box, choose "show all" in the iPad tab and scroll through the list. You can also visit a site like appshopper.com and review the apps for iPad and choose the ones you would like. Return to iTunes and search for the names of the apps you want. Some of the "Apple" apps and third party apps(i.e. iBooks, ABC Player, etc.) will not be available until release in your country, however, you can download most.

  • Itunes not supported in your country

I have a UK Itunes account where I reside but am currently working in Qatar. When I try to connect to ITunes via WI-FI on my 2G Iphone I get the following message "ITunes not supported in your country". Works OK on my Macbook. Ive seen this question posted before but there doesnt seem to be a fix. Have resync with Itunes account, changed countries etc but no fix. Is this something with the 2.2 software update maybe. I brought the Iphone to save lugging the laptop around so am disappointed with Apple if this is a permanent lock out.

    Yes U.S. only.
You friends are using it illegally.

  • Macbook pro now says itunes not supported on this type of Mac.  only change has been addition of Apple TV. how to fix?

My older macbook pro now says itunes not supported "on this type of Mac".  Only change has been addition of Apple TV. The Apple TV remote is also controlling the Macbook.  Is this the problem?  How to fix?

Did you recently update OS X? The icon indicates you have a version of iTunes that is not compatible with the version of OS X you now have installed. The current version is Apple iTunes 11.0.2, and it's compatible with 10.6.8.

  • 802.11a network not supported for this Country Code

Hi, I get the following error whne enabling 802.11a network on a AIR-WLC2106-K9. Country is set to ID (Indonesia)
    >config 802.11a enable network
802.11a network not supported for this Country Code
Yet, on a AIR-CT2504-K9, set to same country code there is no problem.
Is this a WLC model or version issue? WLC2106 is on version 6.0.199.4 while the CT2504 is 7.0.220.0
    Andrew

Well is it the only country code selected? Also you might as well upgrade the 2106 to 7.0.x and move off the 6.0.x. Since your 2604 is at that code you might as well upgrade the 2106 and see. I'm guessing that you have the same APs and the APs are for that country.

  • Itunes not supported on this architecture?

I tried to open Itunes after running an update and an error message says:
"You can't open the application Itunes because it is not supported on this architecture." How do I fix this?
Could someone please help me? I didn't even know computers had architecture!

I tried to open Itunes after running an update and an error message says:
I'll 3rd the suggestion to use LCC to clean caches, rebuilt launch services.
What was the update? Take a look at http://www.macfixit.com for reports and whether you can 'roll-back' to an earlier version if it is a problem with an update.
Doing an Archive & Install might be necessary. Might also be there was a Previous System Folder from a prior Archive and Install or something else.
Finally, I would use Disk Utility First Aid to repair your boot drive (you need to boot from DVD or another drive) and strongly recommend investing in Alsoft Disk Warrior to repair the directory. Disk Utility is not 100% reliable at finding and fixes a number of problems.

  • The iTunes Store Is Not Supported In This Country

I am trying to access the iTunes store from my iPhone and I get the above message. I'm in Australia so I know full well that iTunes is supported here!
I am able to use and access the App Store perfectally fine and had no issues downloading apps from it.
I have recently had my iPhone and SIM card replaced, and this is the first time I have tried to access the iTunes Store from my iPhone since both replacements. But again, have accessed and used the App store fine.
iTunes on my desktop is set to Australia and working fine.
Are there settings on the iPhone to select your country or something that for whatever reason has changed to another country or can anyone help me?
    Thankies!

On your phone, make sure that you are signed in to the same itunes account that you use on your computer: Settings>Store>View Account. Once you've done that, sync your phone. Itunes account info is transferred during the sync process. See if this fixes the issue.

  • "iTunes Store is not supported in this country"

Has anyone else had this message? I'm most certainly in California, last time I checked. Any updates on how I can fix this? Can't access iTunes store, or the AppStore. Thanks!

I had a situation where my phone would tell me that it only works in a U.S. market and to remedy it I went into iTunes on my laptop, scrolled down to the bottom of the iTunes store page where you can select your country and reset it to the U.S. market. I then plugged in my phone, let it be recognized by iTunes, then immediately ejected it after which my phone worked normally.
Is this happening on your phone or on your computer?

  • "App store not supported in this country" Error message on ipad app store?

I have a 64Gb wifi ipad and live in Bangladesh.
When i touch the app store icon i get the above error message? But itunes on the ipad works fine?
However the app store icon on my phone 3GS works fine.
I have also tried disabling the location services tab in settings and still get the same message when i try to open the app store. However, itunes works fine.
I also tried a vpn connection back to the UK and i tunes works fine, but the app store still gives the same error message?
    Any thoughts?

I'm a US Citizen but I spent a significant amount of time working in Japan; therefore, I maintain a residence there. As a result I have both US and Japanese iTunes accounts. Switching back and forth between accounts on my iPhone works with no problem on my iPhone 3GS.
Yesterday, I purchased a 64GB iPad 3G and logged into my Japanese iTunes account on the iPad, but when I go to the App Store, I get the message you posted about. At the very least, I should be able to download iPhone Apps from the Japanese store like I do on my iPhone.
It is ridiculous that I can download Japanese iPhone apps in iTunes and sync them to my iPad but I can't download them from the store on my iPad. Come on Apple, fix this nonsense!

  • TS3771 My iTunes U no longer works since the update, an error message pops up saying that "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes." I followed the tutorial that suggests to change to from 64 to 32 bit and it didn't

iTunes U video files no longer work on my computer since i update to Mavericks. The following message appears on the screen "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes." I followed a tutorial that suggested to go to Applications/iTunes/Get Info and change to 32 bit. Now my iTunes does not open at all, it says it requires 64 bit. I am a bit confused and disappointed. What should I do to get it fixed? Buy a new MacBook?

Marcello, I am having the same problem.  When following the advice of many in the community to start iTunes in 32-bit mode, I get the following error after I have done so:
I am running 10.9.2 on a mac mini.
I am hoping this will be fixed or at least a solid answer could be given that iTunes will no longer support certain types of media going foward.
