Itunes not work while in other app?
It seems my itunes is either stalling or slowing down a lot when I'm using another app on my MBP...
all software is most current...
this is when syncing my iphone 3g...
is this normal?
You're limited to what you can do in Faces view. Emailing, exporting or printing the image is not allowed. Why? No one knows for sure but there are work around's.
If it is only one image you want to share you can right click on the image and select Show in Project. That will take you to the project where the image is and from there you can share it.
If it's more then one image you can collect them in an album (select all the images and do New Album) or else flag each image and then go to the Flagged album and work from there.

Garageband is not picking sound from builtin mic (rMBP).
I recorded some tracks, now it is not working. I have checked GB Preferences, Audio/MIDI > Audio Input > Built In Microphone.
All other apps can use the mic. Dictation, Skype etc. can use the mic!
Monitoring is switched ON at GB, it picks sound only some other app, eg. Skype, is used to access the mic.

Command-Option-H not working to hide other apps
Just got a new (refurbished) iMac, with 10.8.3 on it. Transferred everyting from my old iMac without a hitch. There's a weird thing happnening, however. Command-Option-H no longer hides others. It seems to cycle through open apps. But only some of them. So right now I'm in Crome and press the shortcut. It switches to the Finder (with everything else hidden). Then with the Finder up front, I press the keys again, and it goes to Calculator, and hides all the others. I press the keys one more time and nothing happens. But the thing is, I have several other apps open, and it doesn't cycle through those.
The machine is a 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, with 10.8.3. I am using my old full-sized keyboard, with a wired mighty Mouse (didn't like the tiny Bluetooth keyboard it came with, nor the Magic Mouse).
I've searched and can't find a solution - heck, I can't even find anybody else having this issue.I think I see some things I don't need to have running, like Adobe Version Cue CS2. Here's the full report – interpret away! Thanks!

Itunes not recognizing cd, but other apps do
Hi,
Itunes won't recognize audio cds on my pc. Strange thing is that media player, real player and other cd programs do... I have an ipod 160 gb classic player, and it's recognized as well...
I ran an itunes diagnostic test, and here's what it said--

From my Ipad, when I am in Facebook, I can not hear the videos posted to my FB page...Sounds works on all other apps just not my videos on my FB page.
Homesharing has issues that have not been fixed over several versions of itunes and ios.
Only kind of fix is go back through your library and retag it. -

Still new to Logic Pro. Got the Soundtrack Pro when i bought the Logic Studio. am i to understand that this app will not work, while Garage Band is present on my iMac?
if this is true, i'd welcome any suggestions. do i have to delete GarageBand on current machine which has Logic Pro?

thanks,My MacPro w/ OSX 10.6.8 runs GarageBand, SoundtrackPro and Logic 9 (Express) without issues.
Everything was installed fresh - ie no overwrite OS upgrades and no app version overwrite upgrades.
Just so we are clear - an UPGRADE would be from OSX 5 to 6 or from Logic 8 to 9 and involves a purchase. UPDATES are those decimal increments - 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 or Logic 9.1.3 to 9.1.6 that are free.
Sometimes the sequence of installs can make a difference.

With 10.2 I can only use a system (e.g. speaker) output for audio, NOT my RME FF400 I used without any problems previously. The FF400 works fine with other apps (some like TwistedWave) setup in the program, and others (like Spotify) using system preferences & audio midi setup. How can I set the FF400 to be the sound output device in FCP 10.2? N.B. The FF400 is set as sound output device in both system preferences and audio midi setup.

I have the solution! Well it at least worked for me. This is the response I got from Apple, Can you please try the following steps towards fixing your audio issue, and report back with your results?
1. Open the application Audio Midi Setup (located in Applications : Utilities)
2. Select the Output Tab for the current output device
3. Select the Configure Speakers option
4. Select the Multichannel tab
5. Change the setting to Stereo Now mine was set to stereo but the left channel wasn't showing left. re-clicking on stereo reloaded the settings and after clicking apply it worked. -

try running it in either 32 or 64bit mode and see if this changes the experience. Locate the icon in Finder, right click "get-info" on it and see the checkmarks "run in 32bit mode" ..
on Lion some users had trouble opeining pb when "iglasses" was installed, also a thing to check.
Else repair permissions of the disk, using Apples disk utility app. -
Ooops I put the lot in the strap line!
My printer crashed mid printing photo. Printer works OK in other apps. Now locked out in PhotoshopCC with error message: There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents.

I have just installed iTunes for the first time. When I run the application I get a "iTunes not working" message. Operating system Vista (32 bit). I have tried reinstalling with all firewalls off, but still no success. Have other people had this problem?

i have an apple IPhone4. I am experiencing certain problem with my iphone4. The problems are as follows a. my ear piece and proximity sensor is not working while making a call. 2. It cannot reproduce sound without earphone but rings normally if gets any call.
Can any one help me in this regard??Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.
