Itunes on new ipad

Cannot see how to get itunes on the ipad.  plugged usb but no further directions.

iTunes is already on the iPad... there is nothing to install.
Did you possibly mean to sync content from the iTunes library on the pc to the iPad?
If so, connect the device and tell iTunes what to sync.  This is all covered in the User's Guide, read it.

i can't see my purchased apps in itunes on new ipad mini. when I go into the itunes store. It shows nothing. I haven't changed my ID or country of purchase. It shows that I would have to rebuy them when I go into the store. Is there something in settings on Itunes I need to change? I do not have cloud.

Yes I am looking in the app store. When I look in Itunes on my computer and look at purchased apps it is there. And when I go on my other device and look at apps purchased all apps are there.
The new ipad doesn't show any apps purchased when I click on apps purchased and when I search the app store it doesn't show it is purchased. I am wondering if I am just missing something...need to turn something on in options or something. Never had this problem with previous ipad when I set it up.

  • Wishing to transfer uTube tuts from Mac  iTunes to new iPad mini

    2.  How to transfer uTube tutorials from Mac to ipad mini
Be grateful if you advise stwp by step how to  undertake both the above.

Further to my last post re uTube  for ipad i have just found information on Buzz Player HD  as an app to play videos  on my ipad.    Apparently it plays all downloaded  u Tube in any format?.
If  you feel this is a good idea. Please explain what part vimeo u Tube app will  be the scheme of things.
I apologise for silly questions - but I am not very technical and very confused about what some similar apps will do or not do and their overlap. What I need is an app that will do the necessary and delete the the unnecessary.
    thank you

  • Question on itunes and new Ipad mini

I have a ton of music on my pc and I was wondering if theres a way to upload it to my new Ipad mini?? Anyone?

Yes. You will need to install iTunesa on your computer, and the add your musci to iTunes.
When that is done, you'll need to sync iTunes with your iPad mini to transfer all the music to it.

  • Downloaded itunes on new ipad and still can't get past screen to connect to itunes. Now what?

New Ipad2. Downloaded Itunes. Still can't past screen to connect to Itunes to download. Where is menu screen?

OK. You downloaded the file for the install, now you have to double-click the install file and install itunes on your computer. Once you double click the downloaded file, it should step you through the install process. The file will be located in your downloads folder.
Once itunes is installed, start iTunes on your computer then connect the ipad and follow the activation instructions.

  • Trouble downloading apps to my iTunes and new iPad -

    Hi
I just got my iPad, (yayay!)
    but...
for some of the apps I keep getting this message
"iTunes couldn't download your purchase - you don't have write access to your iTunes media folder or a folder within it. Change permissions (in the Finder) and then choose Store>check available downloads." I can't find an iTunes media folder where it says it should be and I have no idea where to look and what to do, any suggestions???
    Very grateful

ae6400t, your problem is actually unrelated to the problem the original poster was experiencing.
In your case, simply use your iPad to download and update any apps you wish to purchase. Some apps are quite large, though, so you should be sure you are on a wifi network when downloading apps if at all possible.
You mention you don't have a Mac -- does that mean you only have a PC, or no computer of any kind besides the iPad? If the former, you can of course sync it to your PC using iTunes for Windows. It's not advisable to run an iPad without ever syncing it, since that would mean you have no backups of your device, nor any way to receive iOS updates.

  • I recently connected my new ipad to my itunes, but now itunes will not recognise my ipod classic, and 50gig of music has gone. ipad connects ok but no longer ipod which has been there for two years! help!!!

I recently connected my new ipad to my itunes, but now itunes will not recognise my ipod classic, and 50gig of music has gone. ipad connects ok but no longer ipod which has been there for two years! help!!!

What happens when the iPod is plugged in?  anything?  any errors?
Why is 50GB of music gone?  All music should exist on the computer.  Only a fool would rely on a single device which could easily be lost or stolen to store their content on.

  • Remotely control the ITunes on Windows 7 64 bit PC with the new IPad

With the latest version of ITunes for both Win7 and the new IPad, I'm only able to use the new IPad to remotely control the ITunes on Windows 7 64 bit PC through wired connection  ( ethernet cable ) to the wireless router. As soon as I connect my PC through wireless connection, the new IPad can not find my libraries.
Is this a known issue or am I missing some settings?
    Thanks,

Are you using the 64 bit installer?

Mac computer with USB 2.0 port

I have iTunes on my iPad. I have a new iPod nano. How do I connect iPod to iPad to download iTunes and music library?

    Hi Divine Inspiration,
You wouldn't connect the iPod to the iPad for data transfers. Music is stored and shared either through a computer or iCloud.
This article gives an overview of moving music and data off the iPad.
