ITunes on new pc wants to delete apps on iPhone

Hi. So I just purchased a new pc last week and activated my current iTunes account. Whenever I sync my iphone, it says if I sync the apps it will remove the ones not listed in my itunes library. There aren't any listed in the library since they weren't downloaded from that computer. I'm not sure what I should do. I don't want to have to go through the hassle of re-downloading all of my apps. Any advice please? Thanks!

Transfer the entire iTunes named folder from your old PC to your new PC, along with all other important data from your old PC that you need or want to access on your new PC.
Within the iTunes named folder is your iTunes library that includes music and video, album artwork, iTunes playlists, playcount, and a Mobile Applications folder which includes all 3rd party apps.
With iTunes quit on your new PC, place the iTunes named folder in the same location on your new PC where it was located on your old PC.
Or if you don't care about any other iTunes content, with your iPhone connected to iTunes on your new PC and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.

    See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-no-longer-works-mac-os-10-4-or-powerpc
Since you have a Intel Mac, if you can upgrade to OSX 10.5.x then you may be able to use more current releases.

You cannot delete apps from iCloud. You can only hide them.
In computer iTunes, login under Purchased to do this.

iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

To backup your library, Mac or PC, you need to copy the entire iTunes folder and all its subfolders to a new location on a network or external drive. For any easy way to do this with Windows see this User Tip. For a Mac Carbon Copy Cloner will do the same job.
Note this won't preserve the device backup files, but if you restore a library backed up in this way to a new computer iTunes will happily backup and sync with it as if nothing had changed.
Translated by Google. Hope it makes sense.

When I try to sync my apps with iTunes this message pops up: "cannot sync apps with iPhone because the apps on iPhone cannot be determined." Any ideas? It has always worked in the past...

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue.

    Hello, mimi2216.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This could be a result of Automatic Downloads not being enabled, the apps were too large to download via the cellular data network or a cellular data connection was not available at the time of download.  The best option would be to download the missing apps via the steps in the second article below.

  • I just want to delete apps. ie hugs, smiles, etc. people have been sending. too much junk ! not sure how to do it. Thanks.

I have a lot of applications on Facebook that I want to delete. Friends keep sending cute litttle things., like flowers, hugs,, smiles ......you know...those hugs. com apps. and so on and so forth! When you send them back, you open them allowing them to get your info, then they uh..have you. So...now I would like to eradicate these from cluttering up my computer. A friend of mine said she got a virus from one of those sites.
I would like to know how to delete them, or should I take to a repair person? Appreciate anything you can tell me. Thanks.

An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. That is why yu are getting the message when yu try to sync it to the other library/computer. You can however, manage music and viodeos among multiple computer by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers

    Hello Nicole,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Restore the iPod. This will erase all the contents from your iPod and set it back to its original default settings.

  • Free apps cost me want to delete apps get money back?  how do I do this?

I need help deleting apps that I thought were free and I found out they cost me.I would like to know what they cost and how to delete them and get my money back!

You can view the purchase history on your account by logging into it on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, and you should see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
If apps are listed as free in the store then they will be free to download, but some then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features - you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases.
Some apps also allow for auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g. magazines, newspapers etc) - there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
If you have made in-app purchases or have subscriptions then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you (but purchases are considered final) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption.
You can delete apps from your iPad (you can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history) by pressing and holding any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

  • HT5824 I want to delete apps i no longer used permanently.

Is there really no way we can delete apps we no longer use permanently?  I know they can be hidden but i just want to get rid of them altogether.  They are taking up space and i am so anal about how my files are organized.

No, you cannot delete them, only hide them.
And no, they ARE NOT taking up any space at all in your personal iCloud account - NONE.  The cloud icon you see beside an App in the App Store merely indiciates the app lives in the store's cloud (or online) storage system.  It is NOT in you personal iCloud storage space.
The App and iTunes stores themselves are cloud computing based store fronts - that is they exist online only.  So all of their content, for everyone, is available "in the cloud" and there would thus be no point at all in duplicating everyone's individual purchases in their personal iCloud storage space.  When you click on the download cloud link in the store, you are re-downloading that item from the store's online storage system, not iCloud's.

  • Syncing music says will delete apps on iphone

I'm trying to sync music to my IPhone 4 and when I select songs and choose 'apply' a warning message pops up that says 'Are you sure you want to delete x number of apps from IPhone? This will delete the apps and their data? Cancel or Remove'
Has anyone else had this? Am I just not syncing things correctly? My apps are set to sync automatically, I haven't changed anything to do with Apps settings during this sync...
    Thanks!

I have tried that but, as the apps does not appear in my iTunes, im not able to download them again. Then i will have to buy them (new) again and some of them  not longer excist on iTunes store.
    best regards
