Itunes on Windows 8 not syncing with iphone5

I have itunes installed on Windows 8 and need to sync Outlook with my iPhone5. When I connect to iTunes it lets me select sync with Outlook but doesn't show me any of my contacts or calendars to select which ones to sync. How can I fix this?

Ever since I updated iTunes my iPods will not sync with my cars.I have a 30g and 60g 5th gen iPods that I use in my two car. In my cars I have a dealer installed integration module so that I can navigate my I pods play list artist and song titles using the radio itself. Ever since that last iTunes update 7.3.1. I no longer am able to use this feature. I used my sister’s 30g iPod that she did has not updated and the system works fine. Can someone help me with this problem.

I have had an Alpine head unit in my car with the ipod connection for about a year and it has worked fine until recently. Now I get an error message on the ipod that reads, "The currently attached accessory is not supported by this ipod." I have tried connecting a buddy's ipod to my car stereo, and his still works fine with it. I've done the 5 R's, tried going back to an older version of itunes as Alpine suggested. My next step will be going to the Apple store with an appointment, seeing what they say.

Okay, but being "checked and highlighted" does not cause media to sync.
Do you manually manage the content on the device or use the sync feature as designed?
If manually managing the content, can you "drag and drop" the media onto the device?
If syncing, go to the Movies (or video) tab and select the video there, then sync.
Does it work now?

TV Shows from iTunes Music Store will not sync with my iPod

I have a video iPod (5th Generation). I just downloaded some videos from the iTunes music store and they will not sync with the iPod. I get the message "...some videos cannot be played on this iPod."
The error log says that the videos are not in a supported video format. How can that be? I purchased these from the music store.

Outlook 2013 calendar does not sync with iphone5

All of a sudden, I am unable to sync Outlook 2013 calendar with my iphone5. It had been working just fine and I do not recall making any changes. Any ideas what to look for and how to fix this? I am running Outlook 2013 under Windows 8 Pro, my iPhone 5 is ios 6.1.3, and iTunes is 11.0.2.26.

Exchange calendar became disconnected and did not sync for no reason at all. The solution - on your iPhone, go to Settings, Mail/Contact/Calendars, scroll to the bottom and set Exchange as your Default Account. Then do a test event on both tour iPhone and in Outlook and confirm it is working. Good luck - one word, patience.

ITunes 11.1.2 not syncing with iPhone 5s

I cannot get iTunes to sync with my iPhone 5s - anyone else with these issues?
Runnng OSX 10.9, iOS 7.0.3, iTunes 11.1.2.
I was able to sync before the last software update, but, unfortunately, I'm not sure which update...did iTunes 11.1.2, and iOS 7.0.3 about the same time...
iTunes recognizes phone...prepares to sync..then almost skips to step 5, and finishes.
I've tried 'normal' resolutions of rebooted iMac, iPhone, etc. to no avail...
Any suggestions?

It is very important to execute ALL suggestions, STEP by STEP !!!!! existing in the 2nd part of article, from "If the issue remains, try these steps:"
I RESTARTED always OS X in all steps that the article suggesting to restart.
At last, with the utility "EasyFind", i deleted all files or folders named iTunes except some that not existing into the package to install iTunes last version (see the list in iTunes Installer, File -> Documents or using the Pacifist utility).
I removed all devices in the USB and Firewire ports.
Finally, iTunes synchronizes the iPhone

After reinstalling itunes it still will not sync with iphone

Please help me with this, anybody!!!

ITunes 7.1 does not sync with ipod in windows vista

I have windows vista ultimate. I downloaded itunes 7 and I was able to transfer the songs from itunes to my ipod. But when I downloaded the updated version of itunes (that is version 7.1) the computer as well as itunes recognises my ipod but it would not transfer the new songs I imported on itunes into my ipod.
I unistalled itunes and reinstalled it but still facing the same problem, I also reset my ipod but songs would just not transfer from itunes to my ipod. Can anyone advice me on what to do or is it a problem with itunes 7.1 that apple is working on fixing ?

I found the answer.....the problem was with the ipod....just had to restore the ipod and all was fine after that

ITunes freezes at start of sync with iPhone5

I am using an iPhone5 connected by cable to a Mac. All software is current. Multiple reboots of everything tried.
This problem started only a few weeks ago and has never happened to me in the four years I have had iphones. When I start the sync process, the iTunes dialog hangs at "Waiting for sync to start" and I must force quit from iTunes because it is no longer responding. If I try to sync my new iPad to the same system, I works flawlessly. There is, therefore, some new incompatibility between my iPhone5 and my Mac. I have read as many threads in our community as I can, and no solution works. Help.

FIXED! I can't believe this, but I just noticed that the problem is completely fixed. I have no idea if it was due to an upgrade or what. All I know is this: when I have a problem and post it here, it gets fixed spontaneously without any other help withing days. I can't understand why things go wrong and then right again with my Apple devices, but that has alway been the way. Thanks to all of you who viewed this posting and sent positive thougths my way - it worked!

ITunes 11.3 does not sync with devices and freezes

I am using iTunes 11.3 on my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.9.4) and every time I connect a device (iPhone 5S or iPad) it freezes and I have to quit the application. It's been happening for some time now and I simply can't sync my devices. I can sync my photos because iPhoto is working fine, so I believe the problem is related to iTunes.
I searched in the support for similar problems and usually is solved by deleting the "SyncServices" folder, however I can't find this folder anywhere. I need to get my sincyng working again.. What can I do?

Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Itunes 11.1.4 not syncing with my iPhone 4s

I updated I-Tunes to 11.1.4 yesterday and was not able to sync my iphone 4S. I got the error message the sync session failed. What does that mean. I then noticed that it was not recognizing my iphone as well. I made several attempts and nothing. I then went on line to see how to uninstall Itunes from my mac and I am not finding anything useful. I attempted to move Itunes to the trash but it will not let me do this. I need help from someone out there.

IPad mini will not sync with iTunes.

I just recently bough a new iPad mini, gen 3 (I think). I am trying to connect my new iPad to iTunes to upload some files onto it, however iTunes will not recognize my device. I have iTunes 11.1, windows 8.1, and my iPad is on ios 7.0.4.
I am not getting any error messages, but instead of giving me an option in itunes, my computer automatically opens up my ipad in a browser window instead. The "iPad" menu button never apears in itunes, and it will not sync with my ipad.
I have tried redowloading iTunes, as well as reseting my ipad.
