Itunes on windows wont load

I can not install itunes... it says verify permissions...also service mobile apple device failed to start....I had itunes on my computer and after an update I could not open itunes anymore and when I tried to reinstall i received the above error message

Itunes installs but wont load up

I have installed itunes 9.0.2 64 bit on windows 7 64 bit computer. It wont load at all. itunes.exe*32 starts up in the task manager applications then quickly disappears and nothing more happens. I have tried downloading again, and removing all apple applications and registry refs then reinstalling but that doesnt work either. I have tried turning off virus programs, checking computer for malware and spyware.
I dont know what to do next. I just cant get it to load. It worked prior to the itunes 9 upgrade. but now i cant go back as I have uninstalled everything.
I was dreaming of an iphone - I guess that is out of the question if I cant get the software to work at all

I do use norton 360 so maybe some vodoo there?
Possibly, although I tend to associate a Norton-related (generally speaking, "firewall-related") error-message-free iTunes launch failure with an iTunes.exe appearing in process manager and never going away (rather than the quick flash of an iTunes.exe that you're seeing).
Could you check something for me, please? Try to launch your QuickTime Player. Does it launch properly, or do you get odd things happening when you try to launch that too? If odd things happen, could you describe them for us?

What kidna refresh did you do exactly? And what O/S came originally came with the laptop?

Problems, with Itunes and windows 7 loading content onto ipod shuffle

My system is running windows7 64 bit and I have downloaded the 64 bit Itunes, I am trying to load a new playlist onto a ipod shuffle 2 gig. When I connect to itunes it makes me restore the ipod settings and then when this is complete, itunes will only load a few songs at a time and if I try to load more that ten song Itunes just stops responding. I took the shuffle into an Apple store today and they tell me that it OK so must be my system. Can anyone help please.

If so, I think I've found info on the motherboard ... if so it doesn't have the P55 or P55M chipsets that can be cranky on Windows 7 systems with iPod/iPda/iPhone connections.
Still, we'd better make sure your BIOS and chipset drivers for the board are up to date. Head to the following page at ASUSTek and use the Navigation Wizard to autodetect your motherboard version. Check to see if there are any BIOS updates, chipset driver updates or other driver updates available for it (say, integrated audio, display adaptors, raid controllers, etc):

Pop up window wont load

when a pop up window (that i want, such as to compose an email), the window opens but nothing loads in the window. there is only a a bar at the top that says "search bookmarks and history". how can i get these pop ups to load. it happens with ALL pop up windows that come from a link that i click on ( i WANT these pop ups).

I know there is a safe file called msiexec.exe but I still had my doubts. It was prompting me to allow msiexec.exe to make changes to my computer. Publisher was unknown, that raised my suspicion. I clicked no and ran Hitman Pro http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro
It removed the virus. I hope it won't return when I restart.

TS1702 itunes store images wont load and can't purchase or update anything

Just wondering if anyone is or has had the same problem. I can access the itunes store and it partially loads but no images load. I can do a search in the store and it will find what I look for in text but no images. It will let me click on "purchase" or on the App store "update" but it will not respond. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

I contacted Apple care about this problem...and ended up having to re download itunes and install it again over top of the original itunes. Once this was done everything was back to normal.

Itunes giving error wont load

yeah when i ope itunes it gives me a error saying it has to close the program i tried the ewido thing doesnt work i dont know what to do and i cant access my windows firewall either it has a error too.and i dont want to reformat the computer cause i have no place to put my music.

My system is Windows 7 SP1 fully updated with Norton 360 a/v
My problem is as follows:
Installed Firefox with no difficulty
It opened normally
Used and setup Google News UK as default page with no difficuly and page opened normally.
But then trried to open individual items in Google News and every time got message Internet Explorer cannot open this site
Set up a bare Windows 7 SP1 drive and installed Firefox and continued with same message when opening items on the page
I also use both MSN and Yahoo browsers and neither have any problems
I have repeated the process in Windows 8 beta with the same result

Windows wont load up

My laptop loads, allows my to enter the user passsword then just freezes, it won't load in normal or any of the safe modes,
i really need to take my saved work off it, #

Remove the HDD and connect it to other PC as external one. I hope you will have access to all data there.
Sorry but if notebook doesnt start in safe mode I see this as last option.

Satellite A660 - Windows wont load - I cant recover

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660 7U.
Last night it failed to boot.
I ran the Norton ghost start up cd and backed up most of the stuff I needed.
I also noticed C drive has become just 1.5gig and there was a extra drive!!!
I tried to run system restore using Toshibas start up factory restore settings. first it says not enough space in C drive then when I changed the settings to delete all partitions it was preparing for a long time the copying also for a long (10min) time then switched itself off.
Now what shall I do? Is my HDD gone?
I can see all my stuff when I use Norton ghost though. I copied most of the stuff in D drive. Possibility of a virus?

Thanks guys. Yes i have made the DVDs.
Now what I did was format the whole drive 600gb using the 3rd party bootable drive. Then I started using recovery disks to restore. But almost every time the computer switches itself off for no reason while trying to copy the files. At times it switches off as soon as I push it on. Partition software was able to format the whole drive without any issue.
Could it be the partition tables that are messed up?- what i mainly dont understand is as to why the machines switches off abruptly. Could it be the MB or the RAM or failed HDD that switches off the computer.
Any ideas are more than welcome.
I was able to back most of the data to a external HDD. Does recovering to factory settings make HDDs go bad?

I just noticed, as I try to copy the recovery DVDs contents the machines switches off again in 20 sec o so it tried to starts itself, then again it switches off the again it starts by itself, this is weird this goes on happening...

HELP, all my devices (iPads 1, 2, mini, 4 iPhones 5) when i download a new app through appstore they all freeze on waiting and the icon is blank, at the same time my iTunes on windows comupter wont open anymore.

All my devices under the same username wont install and new apps when connected to wifi, and itunes on windows wont open anymore. wondering if anyone has the same problem or found a solution.
will download under 3g, very unusual problem. seems to be the apple username but for itunes to not open as well.

Ha ha, not to worry.
Rebooted modem and all is good now.
Very unusual that the only problem was isolated to all apple associated devices and software.

Itunes wont load pages

Hi,
I have itunes 10.5 beta on my dell and when i load it, its fine, then i connect to the itunes store it wont load the pages. It doesnt even load the home store. It will connect b/c i see the music tv movies and other categories, when i click on any of the tabs it WONT LOAD. It will give me a half load bar then stop loading. It will just give me a white page.... PLEASE HELP ME.. I havent disabled anything because i dont know how please tell me how to do that.... Also i have downgraded to the latest verison of itunes still nothing... so i repaired 10.5 STILL NOTHING..

Isn't there a special beta forum you're supposed to ask? Just wondering.
On current versions of itunes, many folks have had luck with going to
itunes > edit > preferences > parental tab.
Disable the itunes store, save the changes. Quit itunes, then start itunes back up.
Go back into the parental tab and enable the itunes store.
