Itunes only freezes? PLEASE help!!!!
I have called a number to have them fix it i have emailed and uninstalled then reistalled many many times. What happens is, iTunes will open up, but before i have any time to do anything, it will freeze, and my only option is ctrl alt delete. i am desperate for anything to fix it. it has been broken for a longg time. I will try almost anyhthing. PLEASE HELP!

i tried reinstalling itunes, clicked the repair button, then it says that the bonjour service wasnt installed or something like that.
Was that the message from the following troubleshooting document?
"Bonjour service failed to start, verify you have sufficient privileges" error message when installing
... or is your one different? If it's different what is the precise text of your one?

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your Ipod to the PC
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well, since you got such a huge library.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.
If this doesn't resolve your problem, then let me know.

Ah I see. That folder would only be there if you had perfomed the earlier steps in that section.

I follwed all the instructions on manuals for both iPAD and iTunes re syncing, but after physically connecting iPAD with iMac with USB or via WiFi I still cannot find "phone button" under Device name on iTunes page. Please help! Thanks!
I have been creating a photo book using a lots of photographs on iPhoto, and then I took another photos by using new iPAD which I want to integrate with the original album/book on iMac. I was able to import them from iPAD's iPhoto to iMac's iPhoto. However I cannot import or transfer or sync anything from iMac's iPhoto to that of my iPAD.
So my iPhoto page on iPAD contains only 3 or 4 newly created albums, and no other info. That means no syncing....
I am supposed to be able to work on this project on either of these iPAD and iMac, correct?
I am puzzled. I appreciate for your advice and help.

Hours and Hours of renaming, adding cover photos and so on have been for nothing. Itunes cannot find the files since they're not in the library at all!
I still have the music on my computer but don't want to add it as it is, as I have spent a lot of time "fixing" it! PLEASE HELP!Did you use spotlight to search? (I'm assuming you have a Mac as given above despite this thread being in the Windows forum). How long have you used iTunes on this computer? Is there a backup to your library, perhaps an only copy of it on a machine you've "retired". Is the media present in the media folder? (Yes, you've answered that earlier.) If so then the media files should have absorbed all the tag changes that you made and reimporting the media into a new library might not be a complete disaster, though playlists, playcounts, ratings etc. would be irretrievably lost.

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete. -

The App store is a iOS function and cannot be deleted. Try checking other home screens/folders and see if you can locate it. If not, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Swedish carriers sell their phones carrier locked and do not offer official unlocking. So unless you want to use it in Sweden with the original carrier you may as well sell it to someone who can use it there.
Edit - I tell a lie, one of the carriers 3 do offer unlocking but not the others. -

Howdy carpetjim,
When you change the folder location like that, it changes where new songs and media are stored. To actually load the library you need to do this:
Steps to create or choose a different iTunes Library file
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you are using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu and choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you are using the Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of the following screens:
Additional information
If you do not see one of the screens above, then you did not hold the correct key at the correct time. You may want to try again. Note that if you pinned iTunes to the Start menu programs, and open it that way, it may not work.
