ITunes only shows "Setting" and "Contents" tabs - where's Music?

Am I missing something? I only have Settings and Contents tabs in iTunes for my shuffle. I want to sync some playlists to my shuffle - how do I do this?
I tried using Autofill for a smart playlist that contains podcasts, but I just get the "no songs in the playlist 'Podcasts' can be synced".

That's all there is... you can either drag and drop playlists to the contents tab or use autofill by selecting the playlist to auto fill from.

You CAN'T use autofill for podcasts (and audiobooks) . Drag and drop is
the ONLY way...

Yes, we tried that, tried everything listed in the troubleshooting sections. Even checked pc with itunes. Took it to Applestore and they fixed it. I have no idea what they did but it's fixed and was free.

Itunes doe snot sell any apps at a ll for your computer. ONLY for iphone, ipod touch, ipad.
You would have to go to the Mac App Store in order to find apps for your mac.

You can only purchase content from the store where your credit card is registered - and that credit card must be registered to a valid address in that country. I am afraid that you are restricted in what you can legally purchase from Apple.
Sometimes the restiction of content has to do with licensing rights and sometimes governments will restrict the content that Apple is allowed to sell in their countries.

i saw this under the summary tab in itunes. when you hover over photos at the bottom it shows how many pictures. i don't have it set to sync pics off of my computer files to the phone which is over 6,000 which it said when i clicked on sync photos from but i didn't sync. My phone shows 1.4GB on my camera roll while itunes, under the summary tab of my iphone shows 2.89GB.
i just read this morning to delete photos from the stream which removes them from the cloud and all synced devices. this is why i get confused because i read that on apple.com as well.

At the bottom of the page Settings > Messages you should have a section headed "SMS/MMS" Turn MMS messaging on then you can turn group message on.

Why does my iTunes only show iTunes U and podcast options at the bottom. I just want to be able to watch movies on my iPad :(
Plus when I go to the videos app and tap go to iTunes Store I get a blue message that says "cannot connect to iTunes Store".

You won't see anything obviously related to iCloud, Jimmy. But if you go to the home iTunes Store page while logged into your iTunes Store account, you should see a Purchases link now under the Quick Links header. That's the only part of iCloud active at this time.

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. Check out the article below for further troubleshooting and emails setup options.

Alright, I found the issue. This is how I have resolved my issue. I hope it will help you.
1. This issue could happen, if your apple TV doesnt have internet, connectivity to iTunes servers, or you haven't logged in to iTunes account in your apple TV
2. Test the network on apple tv - General - settings - network - test network, Try to aviod using wifi use LAN cable, since we are trying to fix the issue.
3. Set your exact location manually - Which city you are in from settings-General - Time Zone- choose your City currently you are in.
4. Login to iTunes account - settings- iTunes Store- set your default store - for example I am in Mongolia but using my New Zealand account on Apple TV, in our case my Apple TV iTunes account location is New Zeland.
5. If you are facing any issues to login to your iTunes account, That explains you have an issue with connectivity back to iTune servers, or sometimes it could be apple iTune servers may have problems. To verify which is one is the problem login to your itunes on your laptop or desktop for testing purposes, make sure you are using the same internet connection as your home apple TV is using.
6. if you are able to login you should able to see all the available channels and full list on Apple TV.

ITunes only shows my last 10 podcasts

I've been submitting Podcasts to my Cabaret Secrets feed for about a year now but iTunes only shows my last 10 Podcasts. The others don't seem to be there anymore. Any ideas?

iTunes does not limit the number of episodes shown until you get to 300. If you examine the feed you will probably find that there are only the ten episodes in it. Many podcast creation programs and services limit the number of episodes show in the feed, moving older ones to an archive page and out of the feed once the limit is reached. There is usually a setting to increase this number.
Please always post the URLs of your iTunes Store page and feed; without them one can make only the most general comments.

Apple TV only shows featured and most viewed YouTube videos??!!

I just want to make sure that Apple TV only shows Featured and Most Viewed videos, does it not?

I'm not a huge fan of YouTube but this does seem like a flaw in Apple's marketing.
They're making a big thing of YouTube functionality on AppleTV.
This may not appeal to me but will to people who use and have YouTube accounts - these are the ones who'll feel short changed if they buy AppleTV expecting all content to be available now, specifically their stuff.
It's all being converted over time yes, but that's not obvious to the prospective buyer.
