ITunes other computer access
I know with iTunes you can authorize up to five computers to access your MP3 files. But I have been forwarding them via email, which is an extreme hassle. Does anyone know if there is a way to redownload CD's I have already paid for from mine or another authorized computer?

Sorry but no, there isn't. You can only download a given track from the iTunes Music Store once (unless you buy it again). If you want to have your purchased tracks on another computer, you have to copy them yourself some removable media, via your network, or as you've been doing, emailing them.
And just FYI so that the terminology is clear, tracks purchased from the iTunes Music Store are not MP3s. They're copy-protected AAC (the file extension is .m4p).

My question is that the how-to in that URL seems predicated on access to a computer/iTunes? Is there a step-by-step guide if you have no access to a computer or iTunes for restoring, or is that not possible? Losing all data is not a concern for me (it probably is for her, but my understanding is there's no way to do this without losing all data... I hope she's backed it up!)

Itunes,other computer,burned cd,this comp, not working...
i have a cd i burned with itunes songs just before buying a laptop which i put on that computer, buti didnt know who to get the songsinto itunes(being it wont rip mp3 cds)so now i have another computer (dell xps 400) and i managed to get 231 of 441 songs onto the new one(231 being the ones i ripped from cds i had) but the others i dont have the cds any more so how do i get those onto this new computer
Not really sure what you are trying to do.
You have some songs on a CD but others you do not?
- Network the computers together.
- Burn another CD with the rest of the music and transfer it.
Insert the CD with the MP3s and iTunes -> Add to library.

You don't RIP an MP3 CD. You simply add or copy to the computer/iTunes. You can only RIP an audio CD. -

At this point you have the option of keeping a device optimized version (lower resolution version) of your photo on your phone while iCloud stores a full resolution version. Or keeping the full resolution version on both your phone and the iCloud. If you delete the photo on your phone it will be deleted on the iCloud. I know, bummer. Also it should be noted that the photos app and the library are still in beta and to this point i see why. I would use dropbox or a smiliar app for off device storage.
So far this is how it has been working/not working for me. Whether or not I choose to keep originals or optimized on my phone it will only keep the originals and it has only been uploading lower resolution versions of my photos to the iCloud library. Seems to be working in reverse.
Again these are still in beta so i am hopeful that this will be fixed in the near future.

when trying to install 7.0 it says Itunes can't access hkeylocalmachine\software\apple computer, inc......check to see if you have access or contact your support personnel.
How do I give itunes access? I've tried regedit and everyone (myself) has full access.

In order for you to solve this problem you have to follow these stept if your running windows:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.

Three 5th gen nanos. One NOT recognized by itunes and computer; other 2 fine.
I have 3 daughters and three 5th gen nanos. I use the same cord, plug and computer, and one is not being recognized by itunes or computer and will not charge; other 2 fine. Something wrong with just the one. Resetting (pressing menu and center until apple appears?) doesn't work. One daughter very SAD. Please help if you can.
Oh, and I've also put it in disk mode. Still not recognized.I think I found the problem, and it may be useful to others. I cosely looked at the dock connector next to the earphone jack and found that it has a chip in it. Not good news for Gen 5 ipod nano's. Apparently, the connector is bonded to the logic board. I did find that if I gently put pressure on it in one directio or the other, it will make a connection.
Must break the bad news to daughter. Sad face. -
I installed Mountain Lion on my iMac. Now I cannot access the Internet. All the other computers and tablets on the network have no problem. I did PRAM and MC reset, modem reset, etc., all the usual ju-ju. I also cannot connect on my local network to any other computer. Yet Network control panel says I am connect to the modem, and Network Diagnosis says I am connected to the Internet. It's like the blind man who has eyes that cannot see. BTW, I am not some newbee. I have been a Machead since the early nineties and set up a half dozen networks, including the one I am using at home to which the iMac mysteriously is there but not. This has me stumped! I am considering going back to 10.7!

I had itunes on my other computer. i bought cds and uploaded them to itunes there. Then everything was sync'd to my ipod.
now I have a new computer - andI want to transfer those files to my itunes.
BUT I can only transfer music I bought through the Apple store.
That's WRONG!
I spent money on cds - yes I'm old fashioned.
I want to listen to audiobooks on my CD so that's how they were recorded onto itunes and sync'd to my ipod.
Now it's a waste if I press the sync button!
I spent hours downloading cds to itunes on the other computer - which I will be getting rid of soon.

I have problem with file accessing in other computer in jsp.

but it works well in main funtion.

I Am trying to sync my iPad to my other computer and it says I need 10.6 I can't find to download
I am guessing "10.6" refers to an OS X version of a Mac Operating System. I am guessing you have a very old Mac that has not been updated in years, because OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) was released more than two years ago.
So, what type of Mac do you have? What vintage (when was it made)?
You would need at least OS X 10.6.8 to run a current enough version of iTunes that can communicate with iOS 6.

I have been trying to download l OS X Mavericks to upgrade from snow leopard. I had a miss download right now in my tool bar there is a OS X Mavericks Icon that says-Waiting... this has been there for 4 hours when I click on it, cancel donwload? or
