Itunes outlook addin for Office 2010 64 bit
Does Itunes 64 bit contain a 64 bit outlook addin? I can't see Outlook as an option for syncing my contacts between my Iphone and my computer.
The latest version of the Desktop Software does support 2010 64-bit.
Get the latest version.

Only one Outlook Addin for Outlook 2003 after iTunes update
I installed the latest iTunes update on my Parallels/WinXP Pro side of my MacBook Pro. The iTunes version is now 7.3.26.
Now I notice that there is only one Addin named "iTunes Outlook Addin", where before the update there were 2 addins.
Outlook doesn't crash now and the syching seems to be working fine in both directions.
Did the update do away with one of the Outlook Addins installed by iTunes?

Acrobat pdfmaker com addin for word 2010 crashes when processing large files
I am trying to use the pdfmaker com addin for word 2010 to create a PDF document. Whenever I try and create the document, the acrobat addin crashes word.
I attempted to perform this on both an x86 and x64 machine and it failed both times at around the approximately same point (during/immediately after determining the bookmarks).
The document is large (862 pages, 2425 bookmarks, 311 300dpi graphics, for a total file size of 49.2MiB)
I can generate the PDF by just printing, but the whole point of using the pdfmaker is so that we don't have to perform 2.5K of manual cross-links.

I copied the bitmap to IrfanView and then back (I think that was the step -- I am already forgetting) and the copied it back. The problem went away. My student may look a bit more at the file -- I asked so I could give a more definitive comment here.
The result I had suggests that it is a problem in WORD or the bitmap that WORD was using. Why WORD can deal with it and not Acrobat, I am not sure. However, when printing to the Adobe PDF printer there was not a problem, just with PDF Maker. -

Are there plans to offer one?I'm checking on this. I suggest you also try official channels (i.e. log a Sun support request) so a Request-for-Enhancement can be created if required.

Entry point not found - iTunes 10.7 for Windows (64-bit) reinstall
After ignoring iTunes update prompts for about 2 years, I recently tried updating to the latest version (12.1) without success. After searching for solutions to this problem online, I decided to uninstall iTunes and try reverting back to iTunes 10.7 for Windows 64-bit (on my Windows Vista laptop).
At this point I have installed, repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled, and repaired the 10.7 version and am still unable to access iTunes. When I try to launch iTunes, I get the following error messages:
"iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point CMTimeRangeMakeFromDictionary could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll."
When I click OK, I then get:
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows error 127)"
(As I stated above, reinstalling hasn't worked!)
In my online troubleshooting searches, I've found posts regarding entry point issues but none with "CMTimeRangeMakeFromDictionary" or "CoreMedia.dll" in them. I'm unsure what to do next (should I attempt iTunes 12.1 again?), and my biggest concern is that I will somehow lose all my music. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank youEntry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. CoreMedia.dll is part of Apple Application Support.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

ITunes 11.2 for Windows (64-bit) hangs when opened
Hi
I recently updated to iTunes 11.2 for Windows (64-bit) on both my PC & laptop which both run Windows 7 and are apart from this problem with Itunes are very stable.
After installing the updates, each time I try to launch Itunes the program will open to show the main window but then I get the following:
I cannot make any of the functions respond (via mouse or tabbing)
The "timer circle" (Same as Apples "egg timer I guess) just runs & runs.
Eventually after say 20 mins, I get the standard Windows message about Itunes has stopped.
I then have to exit via this message window, whcih closes the Itunes program down.
I cannot find any conflicts with spyware etc and all other programs etc are running as normal, any ideas if this is a bug in iTunes 11.2 for Windows (64-bit)? Or is there something else I can try?
I have tried completely uninstalling & reinstalling the software, but that failed too (and I do not know whow to find a previous release of Itunes to try again!)
Thanks in advance for your assistance. For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

How to export Registry values for Office 2010 in HKLM.
Hello,
I am trying to export all the Registry keys for Office 2010 in HKLM. All the Office 2010 based registry values in HKLM will be exported and need to be resotred after installing Office 365. So I need to export all the HKLM based Office keys before installing
Office 365 so later it can be restored.
Thanks
Ekta VermaThen change the group policy, that's the solution to your problem. You've made the investment in Office 365 - forcing Office 2010 to launch is wasting that investment.
But what you are proposing won't work anyway, you would need to capture all of the keys and values in
HKCR\.doc, HKCR\.docx, etc, etc, etc for all of the file types.
Collecting all the registry values, crafting a script to put them all back, and managing that effort is a waste of time when the group policy could be changed in a matter of minutes. If someone argues against changing the group policy then tell them
to tell the guy who approved the purchase of Office 365 that he wasted the company's money.
If, on the other hand, you don't want users to launch Office 2010 yet, that's another story and I could go on and on debating both sides of the argument. Instead of spending the time mucking around the registry, try to repair Office 2010 instead:
msiexec /f <product code> /q
you can get the product code from HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion and just search for microsoft office from there. The key name it's in will be the same as the product code, which would also appear in the Uninstall registry value.
I hope this post has helped! -

KB2687455 (SP2 for Office 2010) Breaks Outlook Searches of Shared Contacts/Calendars
Hello, everyone! I would love to know if anyone else is experiencing these issues.
I am an IT Network Technician for several clients that have had issues searching in shared contacts and/or calendars in Outlook 2010. These users are using Office 2010 in Citrix/Remote Desktop Services environments. When these servers automatically
download and install KB2687455, the users can no longer perform searches in shared contacts/calendars. They receive an error stating, "The requested Upon removing this update, and having the user close and re-open Outlook, the search functionality is
restored. Surprisingly, a reboot is not required to restore searching.
Is Microsoft aware of this issue? If so, what is being done to correct it? If not, is anyone else experiencing similar symptoms?
Our firm has already observed similar failure of the search functionality in Outlook 2010 due to the installation of another Windows Update, KB2956128. The issues with that update are already well-documented, based on a preliminary Google search,
and we have blocked the installation of that update, where possible, until we are informed of a fix for it from Microsoft. Any information on the repair of that update would also be much appreciated.Hi,
Both KB2956128 and KB2956203 seem to cause this issue to some of our users, as you mentioned KB2956128, have you checked KB2956203? If you have installed this KB, uninstall it to check the result.
If it is KB2956203, we have been aware of some issues caused by the recent updates, and would like to collect more information for further investigation.
Can you guys share your detailed system info? Also, if you have any log files about the issue, kindly share with us by sending them to this email account:
[email protected] (please use the link of this thread as the subject).
We appreciate your assistance with this.

Is there a 64 bit Plug-in availalbe for Office 2010?
I would like to be able to open and edit MS Office documents using Office 2010 when the documents reside in SkyDrive. The only plug-in I can find is for a 32 bit applications and it wont download to my PC which is running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Can anyone help?
Firefox is always a 32 bit application (even on 64 bit Windows), so you need a 32 bit version of a plugin to make it work with Firefox.

The latest version of iTunes com addin for outlook cause outlook to hang when exiting
iTunes Version 11.0.0.163 com addin for Outlook causes Outlook 2003 used on a Windows XP machine to not close when exiting. I have verified via the Task Manager that it Outlook does not close. I have gone into Outlook and disabled the addin and Outlook closes properly. Enable it again and Outlook once again does not close. This did not start hapening until I upgraded to the latest version of iTunes. I have both an iPhone and iPad that I need to keep synced with my Outlook calendars, contacts and notes.
How do I get in touch with someone at Apple to report this. I have been all over their website, but cannot seem to find any email or phone number to report software bugs.Hey Gambitv,

the old one on windows xp used file MSORCL32.DLL is there a MSORCL64.DLL now?
Anyone have any help?
JeffJam The Man's solution worked for me.
>
Here's the solution.
My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit, using Office 2010 64-bit. Trying to connect to an ODBC data source through Excel. The data source is an Oracle9i 32-bit database on a Windows Server 2003 32-bit server. However, the database version or server operating system is arbitrary; it could be an 8i, 9i, 10g, or even an 11g 32-bit or 64-bit database on a UNIX or Windows server. If you're using Windows 7 64-bit and you want to connect to an ODBC data source through Excel to an Oracle database, you must use Office 2010 64-bit. You cannot use Office 2003 or 2007, for example.
Follow these steps on your Windows 7 64-bit PC to connect to your ODBC data source.
1. Through Oracle's web site, go to Instant Client Downloads for Microsoft Windows (x64). Currently, the address to that page is:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/winx64soft.html
2. Download the two following files, found under the version 11.1.0.7.0 heading:
Instant Client Package - Basic (instantclient-basic-win-x86-64-11.1.0.7.0.zip)
Instant Client Package - ODBC (instantclient-odbc-win-x86-64-11.1.0.7.0.zip)
3. Extract both zip files to the same directory (such as c:\oracle\instantclient_11_1).
4. Launch the Command Prompt (DOS command window) by running it as administrator. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories, then right click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
5. From within the Command Prompt, navigate to c:\oracle\instantclient_11_1, and run odbc_install.exe. You should receive a message saying Oracle ODBC Driver is installed successfully. The name of the new ODBC driver that was just installed is Oracle in instantclient11_1 -- use this driver when creating your ODBC connection.
6. Create a new system environment variable. Set the value of the variable name as TNS_ADMIN, and the value of the variable path as the directory that contains the tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files. On my PC, I have another Oracle client already installed which has its own tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files. Therefore, I set the value of variable path as c:\orant\net80\admin (the directory that contains my tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files). If you don't have another Oracle client installed on your PC, create a new directory such as c:\oracle\instantclient_11_1\network\admin, and place the tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora files in that directory. Then, set c:\oracle\instantclient_11_1\network\admin as the value for the variable path.
7. To create the ODBC connection, go Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC). Alternatively, you can create the connection right from within Excel.
Thanks man it worked for me.
My host environment is windows 7 x64 ultimate and I have my oracle 10g in centos installed in VMware.
Previously I had vista home premium x64 there instantclient 10.2 basic and odbc worked but in windows 7 it wasn't working.
Thanks again.
