Itunes password won't work on laptop or Iphone

I have used the same Apple Id and password since December last year with no problem.
A few weeks ago I tried to login into the Itunes store on my windows laptop and was told my ID or password were wrong. I reset the password but same problem. Since then I have reset the password multiple times but every time I try to login into the Itunes store on my laptop or Iphone I am told the password is incorrect. However I can log into Icloud email account and AppleId using the password as well as this support forum.
have tried resetting the cache and warnings in Itunes. I also logged out of the store on my iphone and deleted my icloud account and re-added it, and signed out of Itunes on my phone (now I can't sign back in). I have done a hard reset on my iphone and logged in and out of my laptop. no success with any of these things. I

One of two laptops seemed to get resolved, or so I am told. He had taken the phone and the laptop to the Apple store. in the end, they gave him a new phone. Seemed to work on and off there, but not really.
was talking to another user that had a 5s on an older IOS. asked him to see if the laptop could connect. it did. when dealing with his phone before sending him to the other person, I noted that the name of the iphone had an " ' s" at the end of the name. I told him to remove the " 's " and space. I found when trying to attach a Surface to my iphone once, I couldn't make it work. when I realized the special character existed, I removed it and all the sudden the Surface could attach to the iphone. Relayed that to the individual I was supporting. He relayed that to the person having the issue with the Toshiba. HIs phone had the 's at then end of the name. They removed it and now his laptop is in fact working. So, that might be a fix for some. However it didn't fix the other laptop. I am getting another one of these laptops soon in the office. I can then finally look at it first hand.

Aplle TV keeps telling me to put in my password but when I do it won't work. But I checked it on iTunes and it worked there, as well as online. Then I went online and changed it but Apple TV still won't accept it. What gives?
Edit: Nevermind it's working again. I had to reset Apple TV.

Wireless password won't work

trying to connect to wireless at work, but the password won't work.... i try'd the same password on ipod... works fine... also i can use wireless at home... no prob....
any ideas?

Powerbook G4, you may have a wireless card that is too old and doesn't support newer encryptions schemes like WPA or WPA2. What are you using as your wireless encryption algorithm at home?
Per my profile, you can see that I have a computer designed and manufactured eight years ago. It uses an old 802.11 "Airport" card; not "Airport Extreme" as does my Mac Pro. It doesn't do WPA or WPA2. If the wireless access point (WAP) at work is using those, you'll be prompted for a WEP password because your computer doesn't know any better. But it won't work.
So first thing you need to do is find out what does the WAP use. Next thing you need to do is go into your System profiler and see what kind of Airport card your Powerbook has.
If it's not an "Extreme" or "Express" or whatever, just a plain ol' "Airport" card, then you are SOL trying to use that to connect to your work's WAP if they are using WPA or WPA2. There are some USB wireless thingies that you can plug in to an available USB port and you can use that to access the work (and home) networks. I know that BDAqua has previously posted a URL or three that point to some inexpensive USB 802.11 transceivers that you could use on your Powerbook.
As a side note, if this is indeed the case for your situation, this would also imply that you are probably using an inferior (as in hacked/cracked) wireless encryption protocol at home. Once you get a WPA2-capable USB thingy, get in to your router's wireless setup and change it to WPA2-PSK-AES.

It says it cannot removed the older version of iTunes.
Doublechecking before proceeding ... what's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a couple of different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

That suggests an AFS.sys issue. But we'd better doublecheck.

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". (If you're running iTunes 11.0.x you'll need to bring up your menu bar first to see the Help menu.) Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

ITunes Store won't work after 7.2 installation!!!

I just installed iTunes 7.2 and now there iTunes store won't work! It says there's a connection problem and to check the connection. Normally when it says that, Internet Explorer doesn't either (but this time IE does work, I've been on apple support all day trying to fix this!!) I've tried everything it said to do and it's still not working!!! I had just installed 7.1 days before (I had the installer, I just never got around to installing it until I got a reminder for 7.2) and everything was fine. Then after I installed 7.2 I was told that the store wasn't working and we thought it was cuz IE wasn't working. Please help!!!!!

Just backed up my iPhone4 in iTunes, transferred purchased items to my iTunes library, and then updated the IOS to 6.1. Now iTunes is giving me the option to restore from my backup, but it wants a password, and my iTunes password doesn't work! I was wrong --- turns out I did create a password long ago for my first backup, different than my iTunes password, and fortunately I was able to remember it. The restore worked fine once I gave it the password that it wanted.

I can see this comment fell on deaf ears. iTunes radio also randomly skips large chunks of songs... Usually the good ones.
