ITunes Plugin Connectibility
After yesterday's update of iTunes to 10.1.0.54 my iTunes won't connect to the Last.fm plugin. I tried reinstalling the plugin, enabled scrobbling, tried running diagnostics for iTunes, got that 'Secure link to iTunes Store failed', but everything else seemed to be working. Everything was perfectly okay before the update. What should I do to fix this?
The Last.fm plugin update fixed the problem.

ITunes Cannot connect to iPhone due to unknown error (0xE8000065)
Hello!
When I plugin my iphone to a wall, it refuses to charge (it just keeps making a bleeping noise).
And when I try to connect my iPhone to iTunes, I can't. It just says: iTunes Cannot connect to iPhone due to unknown error (0xE8000065)
Any suggestions? I replaced the battery hoping that would do the trick, but nada.
CheersiPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting
Did you try a different charger and a different cable? If it won't charge the error will go away soon also when the battery dies. -
I tried to update my iphone4 to enable iO5 and now my phone just shows itunes plugin picture??
Connect it to the charger and let it charge for a while. Then try again. Never upgrade your phone without first connecting the charger. Don't let the battery go dead or the entire device could become disabled.

Hi Imminnie,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPod touch, this article may help:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

If issues persist, a thorough removal and reinstall of iTunes would be the next thing to try:

Double everything and no iTunes Store connection!
Hi! I had a problem with iTunes not connecting to the internet. Googled the problem and was promted to check my firewall - iTunes is ticked under exceptions so that's not it. Uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes following the instructions on Apple help but I think I've made it worse! It still won't connect to the internet (despite my PC having no issues) and now it's listing two of everything, and some files are missing. When I check the files via explorer there is only one of each, and if I delete one of the duplicates, the remaining one won't play? Not too bothered about iTunes store but reluctant to sync my iPod again until I know I won't get two of everything! Help!

my iPod touch 5 is disyllable and it wants me to connect to iTunes. i connect to iTunes but it says i have to accept the invitation from my iPod witch is locked so what do i do?
Hello there Patss213,
If your iPod Touch is telling you to connect to iTunes and when you do, you are prompted to Trust the computer but are unable to due to the device being disabled, you will need to put the device into Recovery Mode and restore it with this article:
If you can't update or restore your iOS device
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Keep in mind this will delete all information on the iPod, and you will need to restore it from a backup:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
iTunes 11 for Windows: Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 with iTunes installed. Now my iPhone 4S is no longer recognized in iTunes. Connecting the iPhone with USB sends me directly to the MS app that downloads pictures from the iPhone. Suggest this is a question of missing Apple driver for Windows 8, iTunes and iPhone. MS does not care! This seems to be a general problem with Windows 8 that a number of drivers that used to work with Windows 7 now do not work, ie. iPhone to iTunes, HTC to HTCSync, Samsung to Kies etc. I need this connection to work in order to syncronize with Outlook and my iTunes library.

Maybe it would have been a better idea to confirm that iTunes is supported in Windows 8 before buying a computer with that Operating System.
There will be a new version of iTunes released this month... no one forced you to upgrade prior to a supported version of iTunes being released.

My iphone5 no longer shows up as a device on my computer when I plug it in to a USB port on my laptop. It does not appear in iTunes as connected, either. It does show that it is connected and charging on the phone itself. This is a new problem. It used to work just fine.

My iPod no longer appears as folder/file in Itunes when connected. Library, genius, playlists, etc. are present, but there is no longer cross reference with the iPod itself. Help!?
I just tried it again and this time a different message showed up "The iPod 'name' cannot be synced. The required folder cannot be found." I have no clue what folder it could be talking about.

Error message: iTunes cannot connect to music store....
I have been trying everything for the past day and a half and I still can't get my music store to work?? Everytime I open it I get an error message saying:
Make sure your network connection is active and try again
Can someone please help me?The same thing happened to me so I sent an email to apple. Honestly, I can't make any sense out of it but maybe you can. This is what they sent to me:
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble connecting to the iTunes
Store.
I have verified that the iTunes Store is functioning and accepting
connections, which indicates that the issue is related to your internet
connection, local network, or your local computer itself.
iTunes has a great new feature called Network Diagnostics that can help
you diagnose and resolve issues that prevent you from connecting to the
iTunes Store.
First, make sure you're using iTunes 7.0 or later, which is available
free of charge at the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download
Now follow these steps to use Network Diagnostics:
1) Make sure that you have an active Internet connection.
2) Open iTunes.
3) Choose Diagnostics from the Help Menu.
4) Select Network Diagnostics and click Run.
The Network Diagnostics interface will help you identify and resolve
any network issues that are affecting your ability to connect to the
iTunes Store.
Please note that certain types of software can affect the way a
computer sends and receives information from the Internet. Here are a few
examples of these types of software:
* Virus and/or worm protection software
* Web accelerators
* Ad filters
* Firewalls
If you have any of this software, and if you cannot access the iTunes
Store, you will need to configure these applications to allow iTunes to
connect to the internet.
Please refer to the documentation that came with that software, and if
necessary contact the software's manufacturer. You'll need to configure
the software to allow these domains to send and receive data from the
Internet:
