Itunes problem not able to restore or update my i device
i have mac book pro 15 mountain lion.... i m not able to update or restored any of my iphone ipod and ipad it shows me eroor as in image ....same with oll device ppl pls help me out ....PLS DIS IS VRY URGENT

Ipad air. i m not able to restore it with my computer.
I use windows 7 and itunes in the newest software update. but today i tried to update my ipad air tp software update 8.1. After a few minutes my computer says, that its not possible to update the ipad. but the new update was at this time already on my ipad. In any case the half of the update... so iTunes said, that i have to restore my ipad. i tried to restore the ipad. everything works fine, till the ipad was in the half of the recreate, becuase then iTunes said, the it was not able to restore the ipas. it shows my a few solutions but the are not working... I tried it again but the same happends again. Now i have a ipad, that is not usable.

I am using the generation 1 IPAD.
I recently updated my ios from ios 4 to ios 5.1.1, I did the restore after the update and all seemed fine as it was detected the first time.
I tried connecting the IPAD again but it shows that the computer, itunes is not able to detect the IPAD.
I checked on the device manager, it identifies an unknown device (IPAD) and says no software for the driver. I am using windows 7 on my laptop. I never had any such problem with the iso 4. Any suggestions as to how this can be solved?

VinayThank you, I tried uninstalling the device driver to reinstall again. After doing the scan for hardware changes, nothing flashes on the device manager. I dont see anything related to the IPAD or any other device for which driver shows unidentified device. It is as though the device is not being seen by the computer at all..
I even tried flashing the home/sleep buttons together but that doesnt seem to identify any device either.
Anything else I am missing? -

When I connect my iPod to my computer, it is not recognised with my iTunes, so it is not able to sync or update, what do I do?
I Have the same problem but am using windows 8 on a PC, my iPod nano 6th gen. It seems that I updated to new version of iTunes and stopped recognizing my nano. My ipod screen does tshow that it's connected, if you can help me. Thanks!!

I am not able to restore neither from iTunes nor from iCloud. The proble with iTunes is it says that the backup is corrupted or incompatible. And I am not able to connect to iCloud for restoring. I have IOS 7.0.4 when I have taken the backup.
iCloud does not connect and it says Request Timed out.
Not Sure how to restore my iPad.

Thanks for the update and clarification. In researching the issue it seems that the 2003 error code may have something to do with the USB connection. I would use this section of one of the above articles:
Get help with iOS update and restore errors
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can try different equipment:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
Solve other issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you still see the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -
im trying to restore my iphone and itunes doesnt allow it to restore without updating. problem is that i have the latest update on my iphone so why is it forcing me to wait for a 7hr update download when i already have the update and only need to restore?

Recently I changed my ethernet network card and since then my itunes worked strangely: itunes store worked, podcasts worked, mini-store doesn't, ipod update doesn't and diagnostics says that I had no Internet connection. It's weired that itunes is based in LAN Connections for sometinhgs and not for the others. Crazy!
