ITunes Problem Ver 6.0.1.3
Hi
I have a Laptop running Windows XP. I installed iTunes on it about 10 days ago and it has been working fine. But from yesterday whenever I click on iTunes or try to open it a pop up appears saying:
"iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
Error Signature
AppName: itunes.exe App Ver: 6.0.1.3 ModName:itunes.ex
ModVer: 6.0.1.3 Offset: 00076099
I have removed it, tried system restore, reinstalled it, etc, everything. Does anyone know what to do. It also says in the technical part of the report:

Tried that link, nothing happened.
Can anyone suggest anything or where I can try downloading an older iTunes which should work.

CD/DVD ROM is no longer recognized until computer is restarted.I have the same problem. I recently moved my music from a Vista PC to a new Laptop with an external CD drive. What to do?? - I just updated my iTunes to ver 11.2.1 because of the annoying messages they keep sending out.
Now I can't play the movies and TV series I've purchased and were watchable before.
Comes up with "This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)."
The cheek of the matter is everytime I tried to get Apple support it comes up with a request for me to pay $54 for their support package, to fix a problem I didn't have until I complied to one of their update requests.
End of Rant!!! - Anyone know how to fix please?Well, I wonder about all the responses...:)
Anyhow, I wound up "fixing" the problem by using the System Restore disks for the Mini. It's now running Tiger 10.4.11 (with all updates) and I copied my iTunes library over. It all works now. <shrug> I have no idea what the problem was, and I'm a bit leery of upgrading it to Leopard, so I think I'll just leave well enough alone.

What is the folder structure for iTunes for Ver. 11.0.5
What is the folder structure for iTunes for Ver. 11.0.5 since I have iTunes on an external drive at the moment but want to move it back to the HD temporary so as to back it up to TM, the problem is that it seems that the files are some what disarranged and I'm not sure where and how iTune reads them.
Time Machine will back up connected external drives as long as they are not on the exclude list.
Connect the drive with your iTunes library > System Preferences > Time Machine > Options > if the external drive with the iTunes library is listed, select it and click the minus sign then run the Time Machine backup -

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

Itunes problem with windows Vista
ok i bought my touchsmart tx2 1025 with windows vista ultimate 64 bit and well i ve noticed that ..well since this is my third time i exchange this computer and i noticed there was a problem with the speakers when i was playing music that anytime during a song i would get this distorted sound like when u put a lot of volume in ipod headphones that it sounds like a crack. Well that happened in my computer even with low volumes.
However I played two times the same song on itunes and two times on windows media player.
Every single time on itunes the sound came as if the speakers were about to blow... like a crack..
Every single time on Windows media player it never sounded like that.
So i am pretty sure its an itunes problem. Does anyone know how to fix this.. i would rather use itunes than windows media player but i really hate the sound it makes sometimes because it shows about 2 to 3 times during one song.It's possible that the song your playing does indeed have a little audio distortion in it, some media players are capable of filtering it out in a silent way, others play a beep, hence with one song I have, if i play it in windows media player it goes on and then for a split second theres a beep, iTunes doesent seem to do it, so instead of filtering out the missing data, it plays it.
This is more likley a problem with the song than iTunes -
My computer failed and the main drive had to be formatted but all my music was on a separate internal hard drive. So I downloaded the latest iTunes , problem is it has found all my songs but seems to not recognize half of the album data, half of the artists, all of the dates and all ratings data.
I had a large part of it backed up on DVD's but it does not want to recognise them either?

when trying to launch facetime on mac, a message drops down that says "unable to verify email because it is already in use by another Apple ID". The mac tech things it's an itunes problem. Anybody?
You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.

HT1926 (iTunes) Problem with Windows installer package?
(iTunes) Problem with Windows installer package? I try to install the new version of iTunes but get an error "Problem with Windows installer package. A Program required for this install could not be run." Can anyone help shed some light for me as to how to correct this? I have tried to install the program through Chrome, Explorer and FireFox but have had no success. I have included a screenshot of the error. Hopefully it's visable. Thank you for any help.

I am unable to update an app, Chirps! USA. I have tried both wireless and when connected to the computer. I contacted the company and they said it was an iTunes problem. ANy suggestions?
Hi..
Delete the app then reinstall.
Hold the app icon down until all the apps jiggle then tap the x then tap Delete. Press the Home button once or twice to stop the jiggling.
Then go to the iTunes store and re download the app.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That should download the most recent version including whatever update was available.
You won't be charged again. -

Problems with importing CDs - is it an iTunes problem or a computer problem

I just purchased a new iMac in August, and have had problems importing audio CDs into my iTunes library. Sometimes the computer completely skips over certain songs when importing or the songs are imported but have parts skipped over, almost like the cd is skipping while it is importing. This is happening quite frequently, and it is happening with cds that I know aren't scratched, etc, so there is no reason that I can think of that these wouldn't be importing just fine. I'm wondering if this is an iTunes issue or a computer issue. I don't want to bring my computer in to get serviced if this is just merely an iTunes problem.

I think it's because I have an Apple multitouch pad but it functions as a mouse so it's actually sending two notices. It doesn't do it on a touch screen device nor does it do it when everything is switched to mouse events, so I think it's just unique to Device Central and this particular type of mouse. -
Timezone & itune problem in iOS6
I am having timezone & itune problem in iOS6 in ipad3.
I earlier posted that when opening itune it's showing only a white screen.
Then i got some reply's to chage year date to next year(2012) and then change it back.Then open itune
or logout and login of itune a/c.
But both ways did'nt work for me.But now atleast it showing(cannot connect to itune)
But i notice another problem that when i change my timezone to auto,it goes on serching and can't get fix on timezone as live in india(delhi).I don't think that should be a problem as i also have ipod which is working fine.
May be both of this problem are related?
