HELP!
i've been at it with my IPOD since Wednesday trying to keep up with the threads and nothing seems to work. Main incident: I upgraded to Itunes 6 on my 20GB, it openened initially then no sound regained sound and no itunes. I did MSConfig, Disablining firewall. I am running XP/Norton 2005/deleted SC thing..Downloaded all three Ewido/AVG/ad aware..I am getting the Itunes encountered a problem and needs to close..we are sorry for inconvenience send to microsoft...I've been at this stage forever...I just bought my friend the new 30GB with video and I don't want to turn my back on apple forever..Please help!

On windows with iTunes 11 on it then control-S gets the left-hand sidebar to show, and on a Mac option-command-S does similar. Then select the iTunes Store on that sidebar, click App Store at the top of the store home page, and find a free app, click on its free price, and then click 'create Apple id' on the popup

I have the newest version of iTunes, and I cann open iTunes but I can't open the iTunes store, I click on it and then it says "iTunes is not working. Windows is checking for a solution" and then it closes.

This happened to me after the last iTunes upgrade. The solution for my problem was to completely uninstall and reinstall my security software PC Tools Spyware Doctor with Antivirus) Just disabling it did not work.
There are however a lot of different fixes on other old threads.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page). Here's a screenshot showing the particular links on the page that you should be clicking:
After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
(2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I guess the iTunes store is not recognizing your computer. Did you de-authorise your computer after you uploaded to iTunes Match. Did you register your new computer with a different User ID? Do you have Genius turned on (which needs to be on as it works in conjunction with iTunes Match. Did you authorise your new computer?
You paid for ITunes match & uploaded your songs using a different computer. So there are obviously one or more steps which need to be taken to download your media from the iCloud. Either someone else with more expertise than I can help you, for example, Limnos Limnos ; or King_Penguin King_Penguin or Chris_CA https://discussions.apple.com/people/Chris%20CA would probably be able to help you better than I.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. What did you rent the film on, your iPad or your Mac ? If you rented it on your iPad then it should have downloaded into the Videos app on it (you should get a rentals tab in the app). If you rented it on your Mac then it should be in the Movies part of your Mac's iTunes library, you will have to connect your iPad to your Mac's iTunes and move it from your Mac to your iPad (I think that it should show on the iPad's Movies tab for moving)

As you probably know the Canon plug-in enables Log & Transfer in FCP7. I'm not sure whether it works with Final Cut Express or not.
Look in Applications>Canon Utilities. I'm running 10.6 as well and that is where it's located on my machine.

Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

Adobe programs don't do well with migration. You should uninstall them, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3), and reinstall from the original installers, but you also need to be aware that many older programs are not supported on newer versions of OSX so this may not go smoothly.

Try resetting Photoshop Preferences. Use your Photoshop start icon to launch Photoshop and immediately press and hole Shift+Ctrl|CMD+Alt|Option keys Photoshop should Prompt you with Do you want your Preferences deleted. Reply yes. You might have two different things going on at once here.
Starting with the registry settings message.
I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)
