ITunes Purchased -But I've Emigrated & Switched Countries on Store!

Hi there,
I have a bit of a strange one, my iTunes store has always until recently been set to UK. However I have just emigrated to Australia so wanted to changed to the OZ store (actually had to because the UK version understandably didn't recognise an Oz bank card...I digress :s)
So made my last purchase on the UK store with some credit I had on iTunes and downloaded an album.
Now switched to Australian iTunes and that last purchase files all have the dreaded exclamation mark next to them, tried the command I approach but they aren't residing on my machine locally went to iTunes recently purchased and understandably (I think) they're not there either because it was under the UK iTunes.
Don't get me wrong I can let it go, just wondered if anyone else had every encountered this and new of a fix...

You need a credit card from a US bank and a US billing address for that CC.
Also, teh iTunes Store Terms of Service state that you must be in the US to use the US iTunes Store.

I want to burn a CD from my iTunes purchases but my Bose CD player can not read the files.

I purchased music from the iTunes store and I want to creat a CD to play on my Bose player. I have tried the audio and data selections under "Burn CD" but neither work. Any suggestions?

Can you play either of the CD's in another player? Maybe you need to switch from CD-RW to CD-R discs or another brand of CD for that Bose CD player.

Since I upgraded to a mac my wife and I share the same apple id but this basically shows us as the same person with most programs. How do I get some separation on messages, face time etc.

I can download a purchased album via purchases but I look at it in the store and it wants me to buy it?

The original is DRM and I read that you just delete the DRM one and redownload to get DRM free... But it just keeps telling me to buy it!

Using .mac address for iTunes purchases

Hello,
I am really wanting to use my .mac email address (and Apple ID) for iTunes purchases. I just recently switched completely over from a Windows PC and purchased a new iMac (Woo-Hoo!). To go with the new iMac, I purchased a .mac account right before it changed to mobileMe. I will be using this .mac address a lot over the next several months, and wanted to consolidate all of my usernames, logins, Apple ID's, etc., into the one .mac address and username.
If I understand correctly, I can't transfer stuff that I've purchase on my old Apple ID to my .mac - which is a bit inconvenient, but not too bad since I only purchased a few songs. I plan on purchasing a lot more iTunes stuff now that I have the iMac.
My main concern is, what happens if I decide not to renew my .mac account a year or two from now, and all my purchased music is under that Apple ID? I'm a bit afraid of this because who knows if I'll still need .mac a couple years down the road. I still want to be able play the music I bought and paid for.
Sorry to ramble, but all this ID, and login, and username stuff is a bit confusing for a longtime PC user like myself. But I'm learning quick.

First of all... Congratulations on your new toy! They are great!

If you don't keep your account active at any point from here on out, you will lose your ability to use the @mac address and would subsequently have to use the @me name instead. As you know, it is no longer dotmac, but MobileMe.
If you want to be able to play the music you've purchased you can still have an iTunes account, but you would need to change your account info to reflect your current information. Oh and as always, back up, back up, back up
I know it can be confusing for us just starting out. But don't worry! Before you know it you'll be amazed at how simple and straightforward most of it is. And FUN!

How to recover Itunes purchases when you can't de-authorize your old computer?

Ok, My HP laptop just recently died on me. Luckily I managed to store alot of my files/music, etc... before it finally went.(it was 4 years old and the hard drive was just done) I just bought a Macbook pro yesterday and while I was setting it up started sorting out my music first, upon this I tried to reinstall my itunes purchases but it says that I have to deauthorize them on my old computer... That's impossible for me. How do I go about getting them back?

I was able to recover some data from a Windows computer that completely crashed on me. I now have a Mac. I have downloaded all of my previous ITunes purchases, but I'm trying to reconstruct my entire library, even if I have to do it with ITunes Match. I see a folder with "previous ITunes libraries." How do I get these libraries (and hopefully my full song library integrated into current library? Also, I probably have other backed up ITunes libraries that I can recover from an online back-up. Is the procedure the same for those libraries also? Thanks!

How can I download previous iTunes purchases onto a new iPod using someone else's computer?

I've brought an ipod shuffle and need to download my itunes purchases but I don't have access to my own computer for another couple weeks. How can I download from itunes? I'm getting a message that the friend's computer I'm using can't use a different apple ID for 90 days - I'll be long gone by then and back with my own computer!!!

Multiple people can indeed use multiple Apple IDs on the same computer in multiple user accounts as long as they do not use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-download any past purchases. However, if you'll read the KB article I posted a link to you'll see that for the purposes of those services a computer can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days. If the OP associates their friend's computer with their Apple ID and downloads purchases from the purchase history the owner of the computer will be locked out from using iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-downloading any past purchases.
It's not that the friend will be unable to use iTunes at all, but what the OP wants to do will associate their friend's computer to thier Apple ID for 90 days which may cause the friend some inconvinence.

Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

At one point... by which path I do not remember... I was instructed to created a new ID. I fill out the new ID forms, but the address is rejected each time... quite confusing. Does it want a new name? But it says I cannot use an apple domain (tag?) even though I guess it has to be an apple address... ? You must have a separate Apple ID registered in the other store along with a valid bank-issued charge card in the other country, and a legal billing address in the other country.
Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country..
