Itunes Radio does not operate on my IPad. All stations are unavailable

I have downloaded the newest version of ITunes on both my IPhone and IPad. I can use ITunes Radio on my IPhone, but not my IPad. It comes up, but all the stations say that they are unavailable. I am at home with wi-fi. What's going on?

Try forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device. Test accessing iTunes Radio after processing these steps.

Thanks! For whatever bizarre reason for which I have no answer - I sync'd my iPad to my MBP the old fashion way (not iCloud) and the movie showed up just fine. It is Nikon camera 'how to' video. I like to watch them for a better indepth discovery of what the camera can do. The only weird thing about the hard wire sync is that it was placed in a catagory "home movies" which was never there before...actually it showed up in two places "home movies" and TV shows.

Ok, I have resolved this issue myself. I contacted Apple support but they had no clue.
The resolution is this, bring Siri up and say "radio". Radio comes up and you touch "now playing". Believe it or not the radio icon appears and remains.
I hope that helps other folk.

What can I do when iTunes radio does not play a song?

This is what I'm seeing in iTunes 11.1.2.32 Windows (Win7 x64): Sometimes, iTunes radio will show the next song to play, but the bar is in barberpole like formation (i.e. it seems to be downloading/streaming) but it does nothing. It'll sit like this forever if I let it. To my knowledge this happens 100% after a commercial, and sometimes after songs. I could hit the next button, but I also understand that this takes away one of my skip options-- which means I'll run out of options. What are the options, and is this a bug?

Never mind, it had something to do with conflicting sound enhancements. Weird, but okay.

How can I view my app purchases when it keeps sending me to iTunes which does not work on my iPad and yet shows activity?

I Just received a receipt from the App Store. It was for opening one section of a game when I had already bought the full game. I went to the bottom to check on my purchases. It took me to the App Store for view history. I entered my Apple ID and then it switched me to ITune which doesn't work on my iPad! And yet it showed activity in ITunes. A few months ago I had a purchase show up that I didn't make. I contacted the developers because I love their new products so much and wanted to see if it might be a bug in their system because the confusion was within their games only. I would REALLY like to view my APP STORE history but it only lets me get to the part where you can open the apps that are showing. Is their a way to view my full APP history, with dates, money spent etc? I would love to know how to get there. Thank you, Diane Maya

ITunes 10 does not see Airport Express because port 3689 is unavailable

I never had problems with iTunes 9 and Airport Express, but since iTunes 10 the following problem occurs regularly: iTunes starts, but does not "see" Airport Express (AE) as an external speaker. Sometimes it also loses connection after Windows hibernate mode, but that might be another issue.
What I found out is that it is NOT a firewall issue, otherwise it would not work once in a while. What I saw, though, is that TCP port 3689 is sometimes stolen by other apps like Mozilla Thunderbird (TB). I.e. if Thunderbird is started BEFORE iTunes, it might use 3689 as a listening socket. iTunes then cannot see AE until I shut down TB and restart iTunes. This is very annoying and I only found out after many weeks when watching TCP live connections in my personal firewall software.
Two questions arise:
1) If listening port 3689 is unavailable, why does iTunes not show any error message? There is absolutely no indication as to why it does not find the external AE loudspeaker. BTW, the AE config programm can connect to the hardware easily.
2) Even if port 3689 is blocked by another application, Airfoil for Windows works flawlessly with my AE. I can even tunnel iTunes through Airfoil and then listen to music in my living room, even though iTunes does not see AE. Why can a 3rd party program do something which iTunes can't?
There must be a way to smarten up iTunes and fix this annoying bug.

Hi, The NSS4100 storage system failed to start the raid10.
The message is:
Failed to start RAID
Please check that all components are present
All the disks are present as you can see in the attached image.The system has been restarted twice. Is there a possibility to start again the raid without losing data?

I have exactly the same problem which is discribed first in this Thread.
We have a NSS 4000.
4 HDs - RAID 5
SATA 2 was faulty an the RAID was degraded
There was no problem with the data on the Volumes. I pulled the disk on SATA 2 (which was the one which no longer was in the RAID). Ich pushed it in again. Then on RAID site i clicked on 'Edit' and then on 'Add'. I thought the RAID would then synchronize the fourth HD and the status is going to be 'Running' and we are safe of one harddisk failiure.

2010-01-04 13:04:46 RAIDA has failed.
2010-01-04 13:04:46 RAIDA has suffered a drive failure.

While the process was synchronizing i could access the data on the Volumes.
But after 90 min the RAID was broken. No Access on the data - no shares. The Status is 'Stopped'. All 4 HDs are Online and the Health Status is 'Passed'
If i click on Start: "Failed to start raid. Please check that all components are present."
I have no saved configuration because i thought that there will be no problem with this 'basic procedure' of a RAID device.
Even if the HD is broken the RAID should be doing his job in 'Degraded' mode. Thats because i am using a RAID.
So am i right that our data is gone because only one HD from a RAID 5 seems to be broken?

If you cannot access your iPad because the passcode is not being accepted, then what you would have to do is restore your iPad. To do that, take a look at the article below to walk you through it. It may come down to putting your iPad into recovery mode and then you should be able to use iTunes to restore it. If you have a back up in iTunes or iCloud, then you can put that data back on after the restore is complete and it will not bring back the passcode unless the back up was encrypted in iTunes.

This indicates there might be an issue with the time configuration on the device.
Go to Settings > General > Date and time. See if Set automatically is switched to on. If so, switch to off and ensure you set date, time and time zone manually and correctly.
Power off the device (hold sleep button for four seconds, then slide to power off), then power back on.
If issue persists, switch Set automatically back to on, and if not resolved then restore the device.

It was there after you updated to iOS 7? You do know that iTunes Radio is only available in the USA right now. If you are certain that you should have it or that you did have it before, close the music app and reboot the iPad and them look again.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????
