ITunes radio not displaying song titles, artists, or album artwork.

iTunes radio on my iphone 5 doesn't display the song title, artist name, or any album  artwork. It's just blank. Tried signing in and out of iTunes, turning phone on/off to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have this same problem.  I also don't have any of the price info for the track.  This problem is on my iPhone 5s, iPad and iPad mini.
I tested out iTunes Radio on my wife's iPad and it works fine - album art, track names, album info, price and buying info.
The information in the "i" button is also blank on all my devices and not on my wife's iPad.
This is very frustrating because I can never know what the track is that I'm listening to and can't buy it if I like it.

  • ITunes could not copy [song title] because an unknown error occurred (-54)

For the past month or so I've been unable to sync it with iTunes. When I do, it starts but after a few hundred songs, I get the error that "itunes could not copy [song title] because an unknown error occurred (-54). When I click OK, it then says "synching" but nothing is actually happening, and the only way to even get my browser working again is to restart my pc. I have deleted the song in question, but it will just do it again with a different song. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes to the most recent version, reset the iPod Touch numerous times, As well as deleting the iTunes files off of my computer and reloading all the muisc to it. To make things more interesting, it does all of this on my laptop pc as well as my desktop. Now. all of this may have started before upgrading the software, but that was the last time in months that I tried to sync it, so there may or not be a correlatoin there.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

  • ITunes 11 Not Displaying Song Playing or Progress Through Song (Mac)

I'm using a 2008 MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. I updated to iTunes 11 a few months back and since then I haven't been able to see the current song's information - for example the song title, artist's name, and progress through the song - at the top of iTunes while it's playing. Is this a new feature of iTunes 11 or is there some way I can adjust my setting to show the current song again?

That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

  • ITunes radio not loading songs

I listen to iTunes radio a lot, now I don't know when it happened but my iTunes radio doesn't load songs, it shows the blue loading bar at 99% but doesn't play the song, only a select few get played. Does this happen to anyone else? and how do I fix it?

Anyone know how to fix this?

  • ITunes Radio not playing songs I want

I set up a station with the following artists: Gene Clark, Poco, Flying Burrito Brothers, Pure Pararie League, Gram Parsons, New Riders of the Purple Sage, The Byrds, etc. I have the "variety" setting selected for the station.
The station plays very well on my iMac with most of the groups represented.
However, when I play the station on my iPhone (while on my bike) it plays CRAP. None of the artists that I chose play and yesterday three songs each played twice in one hour and none of them were on my list.  I keep trying to refine the playlist but it has not helped when listening on my iPhone.
    Any suggestions?

  • IPod Video - Display Settings (Title, Artist, Album...)

I am trying to figure out if I can alter my IPod Video display settings. When a song is playing, it shows the album art with the song title, artist, and album adjacent. Is there a away to change this display so that it does not display the album while the song is currently playing?

Three issues here.  The pre-pending is useless when selecting songs to play, plus it.takes up much of the admittedly limited space in my on-screen menu.  Since it doesn't help me select a song to play, it simply prevents more relevant info from being displayed in that area.  However, there is a second area on the menu that is designed to list title, artist and album but those fields are blank - despite I-tunes inclusion of the info in the xferred files.
    JCP,
Regarding the tags, on an MP3 CD iTunes simply burns whatever is embedded in the MP3 file.  From your description, it sounds like the Onkyo is seeing the filenames but not the tags, which does seem strange.  You may want to try the question in an Onkyo forum.
If you don't need the pre-pended serial number, and don't care about the sequence, you can burn from iTunes as a data CD instead of an MP3 CD.

  • Itunes will not display amazon purchases

iTunes will not display songs I purchased from Amazon and others, it also will not automatically play them when I shuffle "Purchased".  They are in the library because when I search for them I find them.

    Hi,
You stated that you found them when you searched your library - create a playlist from selection.

  • Sometimes iTunes burns CDs with song title info on them, sometimes not

When I burn a CD in iTunes, sometimes the song titles and other info seems to transfer onto the CD so that when I put it back in the disc drive the titles and artists show up on the iTunes track listing of the CD, other times it seems they don't transfer onto the CD so that when I put it back in the disc drive iTunes first tries to get the track info from theCDDB and then just lists the tracks on the CD as Track 1, Track 2, etc. Is there any way to assure iTunes consistently transfers the song titles & other info onto the CDs it burns, so that when I play those CDs in other machines that can display this info, the info is there for it to read?

iTunes recently added the option of embedding CD Text into audio CDs (although the option is disabled by default). If you’ve enabled this feature, it’s likely that your car’s CD player is reading that. I don’t believe that iTunes is enabled to get track info from CD Text. It's possible to harvest track names from CD Text on a Mac with AppleScript. I’m sure it’s possible on a PC as well, although I’m not sure how.
iTunes remembers audio CDs that you've burned and stores their track lists in your library file, so if you burn a CD, then re-insert it in your computer later, it should remember the track names. If you’ve replaced your library file, or the CD in question was burned on a different computer, then iTunes will have no record of having burned the disc, hence no track names.
    Hope that helps.

  • Searching by artist name does not show songs with artists name in song title

If i search by an artist's name in itunes, it does not display songs by a different artist that have the artist's name in the song title, such as remixes that have a parenthesis, then the searched artist's name after with no space in between, like it used to.  For example,  I searched "Munchi" (artist name), and it showed songs listing munchi as the artist, but not songs with munchi in the title.  In the old itunes, if I searched "munchi", the list of songs would include the song Chicken Lover (Munchi likes 'em fried moombahton remix), which is a song by the artist "bassanova",  but now that song and songs like that (remixes) in which the artist im searching has their name in the song title but not as the song artist, are not included.  This is a serious problem for me as it leaves out alot of songs which the searched artist has collaborated on out.  In the old itunes i would get a list of any song which had the word "munchi" in any field, whether or not the word munchi had any letters or symbols before or after it.

  • Ipod will not display track and artist name when i play a song

ipod will not display track and artist name when i play a song... i cant see the the volume display to adjust it eiether. Everyting shows up in the menus just not on the now playing screen.... any suggestions?

Try restoring your iPod. Just be aware that restoring will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

  • Why can I not edit song titles and artists as I could in the past?

  • My Ipad will not display song lyrics

I upgraded to ios 5 and it will not display song lyrics for songs that I put lyrics in for.
    any ideas?

I tried Lyrics View but it didn't work well for me. It listed music by song title, there was no way to change that to list by artist or album, and it was difficult to select a song to listen to; often a different one would play than the one highlighted.
Pauser Pro works better but it's still frustrating.  I do enjoy being able to see lyrics again, but music is listed alphabetically by song title rather than by artist or album, and there is no preference panel which lets you change that by default. If you want to hear all the songs on a specific album and you select the artist, you get an alphabetized list of his or her songs with a blue cross to the left of each. Clicking All Songs places them on a list, which you can then click on to play a specific song. But you have to put the songs in that list first, and I was unable to make separate lists for each artist; attempts to do so led to them all being placed at the end of the first list.
I was finally able to make up a Playlist using a specific genre on iTunes on my computer, transfer it to my iPad, and then access it through Pauser Pro, but the artists were again mostly mixed up and it took a very long time to rearrange them by artist so I could select one and hear all the songs by one person or group. Of course, after that it continues to the next artist on the list, but at least I don't have to keep fiddling with it while I'm busy doing something else and just trying to enjoy some music.
I contacted the developer about these issues and essentially was told that the app was primarily developed for professionals performing on a stage and that it worked well for that purpose.  I'm still not clear on how to create discrete lists in one wished to do that, though.

  • My album art is scrambled and does not match song or artist, iphone4

My album art is scrambled and does not match song or artist, iphone4

I can't promise this is going to work, but you can give it a try.
    1. In iTunes, select your Ipod under Devices.
    2. In the Music tab, clear the Display album artwork on your iPod, and then click Apply.
    3. Reselect the check box and click Apply.
This worked for me when the artwork stopped displaying.

  • ITunes will not load song info at start-up

    Hello,
Bought a 1GB shuffle, installed iTunes, tried loading my music into iTunes and no matter what I do, iTunes will not bring up the song info, artist info, album info, etc when the CD is inserted....it just keeps displaying Track 1, Track 2, etc....it doesn't matter if it is a store bought disc or a homemade copy, still does not recognize info.....I have the latest version of iTunes (4.9) and OS is Windows XP....Any info would be appreciated

If you look in the advanced menu at the top of the itunes window and click on the get track listings this will search for the c.d and give you all the info you require wont always work with obscure c.d's or copies... Hope the forum treats you well
