Itunes radio not showing on music app

i have the iphone 5 and updated to ios 7 but the Iradio icon is no longer available? Re- startedthe phone but didnt work...

Hi fred,
Here are a couple of easy things to try first:
Close all apps (including your iTunes): Double click the Home key and then swipe up on the thumbprints that display above the icons
Reset again: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds)
Once the Home screen redisplays, see if the radio shows up in your Music app
If that does not resolve the issue, then do a full restore using iTunes on your computer. Be sure to do a backup before restoring:

  • Songs Are Not Showing in Music App

I have synced my iTunes library to my iPad Mini. If I go to Settings > About > General I see the correct number of songs listed. Also, all my restrictions are off. However, my songs are not showing in the music app. If I am at home and on the same network I can see them listed if I go to the Music > Library > My Library. But if I am away from home I do not see this option and do not see the entirety of my music library or playlists. Has anyone else encountered this?

You are seeing the Shared Library in Home Sharing. You have to be on the same WiFi network as the iTunes library that you want to share, so that is why you see those songs when you are at home. The songs that you see in there are not on your iPad.
For whatever reason, all of your songs did not sync correctly. How are you syncing? Are you syncing automatically and if so have you selected the entire Music Library to sync? Take a look at this. The fact that it is written for the iPod doesn't matter since it works the same way for any iOS device.

  • Help - iTunes Windows not showing all music

I just discovered this - my iPhone has all my music and albums and artists are all correctly labeled and organized. my Win7 PC is all screwed up.
I'm not sure how/when this happened but at the moment about 700 songs are showing up in itunes without Artist, Album, or Genre info. In some cases, a few songs show up in the Album view and the rest are just missing. The only way I found them is by either viewing by Sony or doing a search. Most albums are still missing if I uncheck Group by Compilations.
All the songs are on my PC. I found them in 2 folders - iTune/iTunesMedia/Music seems to be what is displaying in iTunes. All of the ones missing info are in the Unknown Artist or Compilations folders.  They are in this folder and sub-grouped by Album and in Windows Explorer they still have the correct Album and Artist info showing. The weird thing is most of these are not compilations. I also have another folder /iTunes/Music that seems to have the correct folder structure but I don't think iTunes is using this folder.
I have tried several things. First i tried copying the songs/folders from either the 2nd database or from the Unknown Artist folder in the iTunes/iTunesMedia/Music folder. This did not change anything in iTunes.
I also tried deleting the iTunes library file and starting a new one. This also did not work but when it scans it brings up 2 copies of every song.
I tried manually importing a folder and selecting each album but this did not work, presumably since the songs are already in iTunes but not labelled correctly.
Is there a way to fix this? Remember my iPhone is fine and I do not want to have to manually update the info for each song/album to re-organize it.

any suggestions on how to resolve this?

  • ITunes is not showing my music or podcast lists today ...

What the heck is going on today?
Last evening iTunes was normal ... music showed in my Playlist and my subscribed Podcasts all showed up as they usually do.
    This morning - all gone.
My Podcasts are all showing as Unsubscribed - and subscribing to each one does nothing. The podcast list ends in Dec 2014 - all my recent updates have vanished.
My Music only shows in Album view - Song view is a blank page.
Something strange going on for sure ... which is scary as I have a lot of music and several favourite podcasts that I really don't want to lose or have to re-create.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I don't know how you have managed to achieve this, but you have got yourself into a tangle. The feed you linked to is fine, but iTunes is in fact looking for a feed at
    http://soundedgoodonpaper.com/comic/?feed_slug=cbl
and this is not a feed but a web page, and so iTunes can't read it. Consequently the Store is sticking on the cached version of the last time it was able to read the feed, and subscribing does not work.
I have no idea how this has happened, but it leaves you seriously stuck. Your only option is to email Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com and ask them to move the Store to using the proper feed URL. Give them the URLs of the Store page and both feeds.

If not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • ITunes updates not showing up in app store

When I click on check updates from inside iTunes it says there is a new version would I like to download it.
I click yes and it launches teh App store which promtly tells me there isn't an update.
I look at the version number in iTunes and it shows 11.0.3
What is going on with the App Store this has happened on the last 3 updates to iTunes?

If they were purchased using a different Apple ID than the one your phone is signed in to in Settings>iTunes & App Stores they won't appear until you sign into the other ID.  They also won't appear if they are no longer available in the app store.

  • ITunes does not show Shared Music and cannot listen to Radio

Hi, I would really appreciate some help on this issue - thanks!
In itunes, the 'Shared Music' folder on the left side panel simply does not exist no matter how many times I check/uncheck the 'Look for Shared Music' in configurations. In addition, I cannot connect to any radio stations listed.
I have no trouble accessing the itunes music store and other online features, so I do not think it is my internet. That said, I fear it maybe my norton internet security software thats causing these problems. Just to be safe, I have given total permission/access to anything itunes related: Itunes.exe, itunes music helper.exe, quicktimeplayer.exe, QTinfoapplication.exe and QTtask.exe. Also, I have (to no success), installed Bonjour services from apple and also Rendezvous Proxy. So yeah.. I am pretty much out of ideas.
I live in a college environment, so I'd really like to check out other people's music. My friends on both PCs and Macs do get this problem at all. In addition, before the itunes 4.7 upgrade, I was able to access most people's shared music. However, with additional upgrades, i noticed that my shared music list would dwindle from say 50 to 20 then 10, etc until it reached nill! Pretty scary, so your help is totally appreciated.
    Thanks for reading!

ok b noir I don't have much time but, idt it worked. But, let me explain. Some of the files I didn't see in the registry like the ipod manager. I deleted some of the ipod services and all of the other files I saw that had the word iPod. But, not all of them. There were also many files that were iTunes files. IDK if you wanted me to delete those too.
I did the whole thing restarted it and then opened iTunes and iPod updater. I hoped and hoped that it would work. When I plugged it in. THere were some "Pop" sounds. You know the sounds that usually come up when you add new hardware. But, nothin' came up as a bubble from the taskbar. Just a couple seconds later a message appeared. And this is it: "Windows has finished installing new devices. The Software that supports your device requires that you restart your computer. You must restart your computer before the new settings take effect. Do you want to restart your computer now?" and that's it. The iPod isn't recognized by iPod Updater or iTunes that I have opened.
So if you could tell me what I may have done wrong. Thanx and goodbye.
P.S. This was updated but I tried it again and I couldn't find the ones I needed like iPodmanager and all those. I have the thing that allows me to see hidden files but, I couldn't find them. So I deleted everything that had the name "iPod" and a few files that were iTunes files. I restarted it after downloading iTunes and iPod updater. I plugged it in, nothing. This little thing at the bottom popped up about the new software. That usually happens when it doesn't work. And it said that if I didn't restart it, it wouldn't work properly like it usually says. So I restarted it and when I got back I plugged it in again and the folder with the iPod stuff popped up, which also means that it didn't work. THen I thought about the format because it may have that same problem. So i formatted it in FAT 32 and it formatted. I also put it in disk mode before I formatted it. nothing happened and it still wasn't recognized. Please help.

  • HT5848 I did an OS update yesterday on my iPhone 5 (up to 7.0.6) and now I no longer have a radio tab on my music app.  How do I get it back?

I did an OS update yesterday on my iPhone 5 (up to 7.0.6) and now I no longer have a radio tab on my music app.  How do I get it back?

    What country are you in?
iTunes Radio is currently only available in the US and Australia.
    Is iTunes Radio here:
Open the Music App > More
If so, you can add it back to the Music app dock by tapping Edit (top right) and drag the radio icon to the dock at the bottom.

    Hello, Ninaxand.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you are a US customer, try forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device.  Test accessing iTunes Radio after processing these steps.  I would also make sure cellular data is enabled for iTunes.

  • TS3697 My new iTunes does not show me a PHOTOS tab when syncing my iPad 3. It only shows Music, Films and Apps tabs on the top left menu.

My new iTunes does not show me a PHOTOS tab when syncing my iPad 3. It only shows Music, Films and Apps tabs on the top left menu.
What am I going to do?

The Photos tab doesn't appear there. If you are on iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), which might make it easier to navigate and my instructions may make more sense.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos e.g. :
If you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from your library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

I have a honda civic with USB port which allows play back of my old iPhone 4 and 4s.  With the new iPhone 5 the radio shows the phone is conected but does not show any music content.  Any Suggestions?

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup.  If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup.  You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone.  However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.
