Itunes radio randomly jumps down stations

This happens frequently but not constantly. It's REALLY annoying... it never jumps UP the list, only down... sometimes one station/line, sometimes several.
[I have internet via cable, with a wirelss modem, but my computer is wired to it.]

I have the same issue.  iTunes Radio stops gets stuck loading a song. I try changing stations and closing/reopening iTunes with no luck.

  • ITunes Radio blues and ska stations are always unavailable...what's up?

For the last couple of months, every time I try to use iTunes Radio Blues or Ska stations it says they are unavailable. What is the problem Apple?

I have not heard of that problem. You can try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
      - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • ITunes radio has deleted my station

I keep trying to load 80s rock radio but the station is "unavailable temporarily" and then after I clicked OK the station was deleted
.. Was this station removed or is it a temporary problem?

I have had the same issue. iTunes Radio deleted my favorite station (Chillout - Singer/Songwriter) and now I can't get it back. In fact there are only four stations in the Singer/Songwriter section when there used to be around twenty. This is very disappointing if the radio on iPhones is going to be reduced. I hope they bring it back I subscribed to Match for this service deleting Pandora but I may go back if they continue to remove stations.

  • In the last week i hooked up my ipod to change songs, now i can't get itunes radio to play any stations.  How can i fix that?

i can't get itunes radio to play since i hooked up and synced my ipod.

Grayed out whee? Computer? On iPod?
If in iPod that means the music files got corrupted and are lost.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • ITunes radio and multiple Apple ID's

I have a Match subscription under my Apple ID...my wife and kids share the same ID for the iTunes Store, but have individual Apple ID's for our iDevices. If they use iTunes radio, they see my stations. Can they sign into iRadio undet their own Apple ID's? If so, how? And can they still have access the the family iTunes account? Using Macs and various iDevices...

Do you mean everyone has their own iCloud account?

iTunes Radio is availble to anyone with an iTunes Store Apple ID on an iOS device running iOS 7, and in iTunes 11.1. It is only ad-less if iTunes Match is active on the device.

  • Why is text jumping down a line when typing?

If there is 2 or more rows of text and I move back my cursor to type more on a previous line... the cursor randomly jumps down a line or so and I start typing on an unintentional line? Any idea why this might be happening?
I'm using the wireless keyboard. Battery is almost fully charged so that can't be the issue.

After some testing... I think it's because the right side of my hand is over the arrow keys and it may be hitting those keys without me noticing. Pretty sure that's what is happening.

  • ITunes Radio going quiet

So this only seems to be an intermittent problem, but I figured I should post it. Here's what happening:
I'm playing iTunes Radio with a custom station on my MP Pro, AirPlaying it to an AirPort Express. Occasionally, for no reason I can tell the station will go quiet. There's a song listed and to look at the iTunes player info, it is playing, but no sound comes out of either my MP Pro or the AirPlay speakers. If I manually pause the song and unpause, the song will resume with the sound as if nothing were wrong before. It's happening about 80% of the time and a little anoying since I have to monitor the start of every song. Any idea what's up or a fix or is this just going to have to wait until iTunes 11.2?

We are all just fellow users here and have no better a guess than you do. Undoubtedly it will be whenever Apple can obtain the necessary agreements with the UK content providers, but when or indeed if that will happen, none of us here can say. We'll just have to wait and see.
    Regards.

  • App Gamer iTunes Radio station won't load

On iTunes on Windows, the App Gamer iTunes Radio station no longer loads.  Other iTunes Radio stations work fine.  When I select play it displays the loading bar in the status window, then that disappears and the Apple logo appears.
    Thanks!

    First, try resetting the device:
Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
If this doesn't help, it may be Apple's servers are overloaded/down/whatever. Try again later. That being said, Apple shows no issues with the system at the moment. You can check this here:

  • How does one get a radio station listed in the iTunes Radio Tuner?

    Hi!
I am CIO for Head On Radio Network, http://www.headonradionetwork.com
We have a live 24/7 Liberal/Progressive political talk radio stream which may be found at http://server2.whiterosesociety.org:8000/HeadOnRadioHQ and we would very much like to have this listed in the iTunes Radio Tuner.
We produce 60 hours of original programming every week, and also have permission to do a "The Best Of The Mike Malloy Show" in the wake of his firing by Air America, and that is appearing at 10pm ET every weeknight. When we are not live, we replay recent shows from the live stream.
I think that having HORN on the iTunes player would be an asset to Apple.
Who do I contact? Is there some sort of application form?
    Thank you all so much!
    -Ben Burch
    eMac   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Sorry, but there's no mechanism for getting a station added to the iTunes Tuner list. No one outside of Apple knows who's running the server that maintains the list since 3Com shut down Kerbango, the previous host of the list, and for some unknown reason Apple has not provided any way of contacting the current provider or administrator for making changes or additions.
I can only guess why this is the case; perhaps Apple doesn't want to bog iTunes down with potentially a huge list of stations (there are after all hundreds if not thousands of iTunes-compatible streams available) and so only provides a sampling.
You might want to consider listing your station through Live 365 or ShoutCast or another such streaming service. That would get it to the attention of a lot of people.

  • Does anyone know how or if even possible to block stations and limit content on iTunes Radio?

Does anyone know how or if even possible to block stations and limit content on iTunes Radio?  I have younger children listening to inappropriate music.  I have the iPad locked down but that doesn't seem to help.

Thank you for your response! I just don't want to spend more time on beautifying the libsyn page via hours of dumpster diving for code hence reaching out on here about iWeb (even if it's sadly been put out to pasture). This was the response that I got from Libsyn about this:
    Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. Just to clarify, our system's blog page templates are basic 'starting points' -- we're working now to improve our basic blog page templates to make more options available to Libsyn users.
You might be able to use your Libsyn show's RSS feed to generate content on an iWeb page. You could do a Google search for 'convert RSS to HTML' to learn more. Here's a link for more info about generating HTML content from an RSS feed source:
    http://www.blogtips.org/free-rss-tools/
We appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Any thoughts? Btw, if it possible to 'view source code' for an iWeb page that's created or to take html code and plaster it into an iWeb page? If that's possible then I might be able to use iWeb for Libsyn.

  • ITunes radio featured stations don't load.

Hello  Im having a problem with iTunes radio. the featured stations do Not load. All I see is a blank space. is there anyway to fix this?
i Have trodd restating the music app, rebooting the device, singing out etc. please help me. Thank you.

I found something elsewhere while hunting around (http://forums.imore.com/ios-7/262288-itunes-radio-custom-stations-bug.html).  Apparently, if you add too many "similar" artists you add will crap out the custom station.  I deleted down to 13 "similar" artists and it works now.
    Lame, but better than nothing.
    Good luck.

  • How to edit iTune radio station ?

I am only getting the option to  "add to wish list". I can skip, never play song again, or like a song. I reinstalled iTunes software, shut matching down & restarted.

    Hello ajm_style,
If you are not seeing the option to edit your iTunes radio station, take a look at the article below and scroll down to the Edit your station section and it should give the visuals of what you are looking for when it comes to editing the station that you created
Use iTunes Radio on your computer, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV

  • Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock? I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on and start playing that Radio Station from Sleep mode at spec

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.
