ITunes Radio Saved Stations

Is there a way to import the saved stations from an iPhone 5s to your MacBook Air?

My stations reappeared 5 days later. I have no explanation.

  • ITunes radio featured stations don't load.

Hello  Im having a problem with iTunes radio. the featured stations do Not load. All I see is a blank space. is there anyway to fix this?
i Have trodd restating the music app, rebooting the device, singing out etc. please help me. Thank you.

I found something elsewhere while hunting around (http://forums.imore.com/ios-7/262288-itunes-radio-custom-stations-bug.html).  Apparently, if you add too many "similar" artists you add will crap out the custom station.  I deleted down to 13 "similar" artists and it works now.
    Lame, but better than nothing.
    Good luck.

  • TS5181 My iTunes Radio (My Stations) suddenly stops playing after 2-3 songs. Any ideas to fix?

Just installed iTunes 11.1.4.62 with Match feature on Windows 8.1 machine.  To my surprise, only a few songs wil play using My Stations under Radio feature.  Very disappointng.  After reviewing the discussion boards, it appeared that this issue seemed to be more prevalent several months ago. Is there a fix out there?  Or is this problem something you need to live with?   Any help / ideas?

The iTunes radio will play more songs from a more popular artist, with many albums and similar artists. For example, my Backstreet Boys station has not stopped yet, but my Jackie Evancho stations have stopped several times.
Try adding a popular artist station, and see if you get the same problem.
The solution for less popular stations, is sometimes to add another artist or song that you want to play on that station.
Let me know if any of this works for you!

  • Missing iTunes Radio Custom Stations

I noticed that after rebooting my iPhone all of my custom iTunes Radio Stations where gone.  I was thinking they would come back but just now after rebooting my Mac they are also gone from iTunes as well.
Clicking the + next to My Stations does nothing until I click somewhere else then it will flash a pop up window then go away.
Is something bigger going on here?
    gbs

I was able to add a new My Station today.  My old stations along with all me play more like this choices are still missing.  I'll have to rebuild a few weeks of customizations.
Still wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

  • ITunes Radio, adding stations

Why do some stations in iTune radio start to play and then say unavailable.  I put in a search topic and several stations appear.  I click on them and they begin to play music for 2 seconds and then a window appears and says that the station is unavailable.  This has happend to me 4 times in the last week.

I dont want one Pop Gold radio much less 12!!!

  • ITunes Radio - wrong station

    Hi,
In iTunes Radio, I tried to play Live 105, but it is playing some other station. The info screen at the top of the itunes software shows live1053.com. It's not the right website for the station (correct one is live105.com).
Can someone let the iTunes people know it's wrong?
    thanks,

The radio links in iTunes are simply a link to the station.
Since it's not working directly from the station website, there’s no way it's gonna work thru iTunes.

  • ITunes Radio My Stations View Style How can I display my stations as a list, or small icons?

I can't find where in the interface to control the View Style, so that my Stations show as a list, vs as Large Icons. At minimum, if List View is not available, I would want to show small icons. Very inefficient. Plus, I already see that some lists, such as "Movie Soundtracks", have really ugly thumbnail cover images.

There's no way to add a station to the Radio section of iTunes, since that list is provided by a server somewhere. There are two different ways, though, to add streaming stations to iTunes depending on whether you know the direct URL to the stream or are adding a link from a broadcaster.
If you have the direct URL (and it needs to be the URL directly to the stream, not a link to a web page),  in iTunes go to 'Advanced' and then 'Open Stream'. Enter or paste the url and the station will begin playing. The link stream then be in your library and you can, if you wish, drag it to a playlist.
To add a playlist from a broadcaster such as Live365, go to the broadcaster and select the station you want. The playlist (a .pls file) should download to your system. If the station does not begin to play in iTunes automatically, double-click or drag and drop the .pls file into the iTunes library window and the playlist's stream will be added to your Library.  Again, once in the library you can drag it to your own playlist if you wish.
As to when, or indeed if, Apple will make any changes to the Radio section, no one here can say.
    Regards.

  • Where is iTunes Radio in iOS 8

Where is iTunes Radio in iOS 8 on my iPod touch?  When I open the Music App there is no "Radio" button.  The button at the bottom left is "Music"

Hey John, maybe this will help, Comes strait out the "iPod touch User Guide For iOS 8" pages 128 and 129. The book is free from iTunes. This link goes into greater detail: http:/support.apple.com/kb/HT5848  Hope it helps, Cheers.

Featured stations provide a great way to explore and enjoy new music in a variety of genres. You can also create your own custom stations, based on your pick of artist, song, or genre. See iCloud and iTunes Match.

  • Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock? I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on and start playing that Radio Station from Sleep mode at spec

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

  • Itunes Radio does not operate on my IPad.  All stations are unavailable

I have downloaded the newest version of ITunes on both my IPhone and IPad.  I can use ITunes Radio on my IPhone, but not my IPad.  It comes up, but all the stations say that they are unavailable.  I am at home with wi-fi.  What's going on?

    Hi, herekitty99.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Try forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device.  Test accessing iTunes Radio after processing these steps.

  • ITunes Radio Stations on Remote iPad App

How do you display iTunes Radio stations, including custom stations in the iPad Remote app? I'd prefer to see large tiles the way albums are displayed. I've seen them displayed that way previously, but now I'm stuck with only able to show this category list?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff

I just stumbled upon this problem too and found that if you press edit on the "more" menu and drag the radios icon to the toolbar, it stays there. I played with this for a while and it doesnt disappear.

  • Creating a new iTunes Radio station? iPhone 4S?

Every time I try to create a new iTunes Radio station it tells me "Unable to Create Station. There was a problem creating this station. Try again later." I've tried several different times with several different genres. I was wondering is it because I have a 4S and that maybe this creating new stations feature wasn't available for iPhone 4S? I really don't know.
All of the default stations work fine. I just can't create a new one.
And sometimes when I do attempt to create a new one, I can hear short clips of a song playing on the station, but then it quickly stops & tells me that it is unable to create the station.
I hope I put this question in the correct category. I apologize if I didn't. Thanks in advance for any helpful answers! :)

I have just resolved this issue by signing out of iTunes in settings, powering off my iPhone, powering back on, and then signing back into iTunes. YAY :)
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem!

  • I have stations in iTunes Radio that will no longer play

I am trying to find a fast-paced workout music to listen to that won't stop playing a few minutes in. iTunes Radio stops a few minutes in. Spotify plays completely unrelated music. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good service that has workout music that isn't faulty like Radio is???? There are only a handful of "stations" I've added on iTunes that actually work more than a few minutes. The ones that don't are pretty darn consistent in that once they stop, the only way to get them to work again is to delete the station then re-add it.
iTunes Radio is not very good at this point. All I ask is for 30 minutes of un-interrupted music (with maybe a few ads thrown in). What I get is 10 minutes of music followed by dead silence and no ability to restart the station outside of deleting it.

    Thanks JJ.
Unfortunately it still doesn't work! Maybe I should give up on Adobe products and look for a different photo managing software. Adobe doesn't seem to be interested in offering support of any kind!

  • App Gamer iTunes Radio station won't load

On iTunes on Windows, the App Gamer iTunes Radio station no longer loads.  Other iTunes Radio stations work fine.  When I select play it displays the loading bar in the status window, then that disappears and the Apple logo appears.
    Thanks!

    First, try resetting the device:
Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
If this doesn't help, it may be Apple's servers are overloaded/down/whatever. Try again later. That being said, Apple shows no issues with the system at the moment. You can check this here:

  • How does one get a radio station listed in the iTunes Radio Tuner?

    Hi!
I am CIO for Head On Radio Network, http://www.headonradionetwork.com
We have a live 24/7 Liberal/Progressive political talk radio stream which may be found at http://server2.whiterosesociety.org:8000/HeadOnRadioHQ and we would very much like to have this listed in the iTunes Radio Tuner.
We produce 60 hours of original programming every week, and also have permission to do a "The Best Of The Mike Malloy Show" in the wake of his firing by Air America, and that is appearing at 10pm ET every weeknight. When we are not live, we replay recent shows from the live stream.
I think that having HORN on the iTunes player would be an asset to Apple.
Who do I contact? Is there some sort of application form?
    Thank you all so much!
    -Ben Burch
    eMac   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Sorry, but there's no mechanism for getting a station added to the iTunes Tuner list. No one outside of Apple knows who's running the server that maintains the list since 3Com shut down Kerbango, the previous host of the list, and for some unknown reason Apple has not provided any way of contacting the current provider or administrator for making changes or additions.
I can only guess why this is the case; perhaps Apple doesn't want to bog iTunes down with potentially a huge list of stations (there are after all hundreds if not thousands of iTunes-compatible streams available) and so only provides a sampling.
You might want to consider listing your station through Live 365 or ShoutCast or another such streaming service. That would get it to the attention of a lot of people.
