ITunes Rental Won't Bump To My Ipad

I rented a movie from iTunes on my PC. I have Apple TV and iTunes Match. I'm wondering why the rented movie successfully downloaded to my PC, but not to my iPad (4)? I haven't had problems with purchases - just the rental.

A rental can only exist on one device at a time.
If you rent in iTunes you can transfer the rental by syncing it to an iPhone/iPad/iPod but the rental won't just automatically be there to play on those devices.
For AppleTV2 and 3, when a rental has FULLY downloaded to iTunes, it will be available to play provided computer and iTunes are running on AppleTV under:
Computers > iTunes Library Name > Rentals
I've never tried streaming a rental to an iPad from iTunes in such a manner due to the diferent interface but if you find a way to do so please feed back as this was not possible in the past.

Try re downloading the book. You won't be charged again.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
And tap Settings > General > Restrictions
Make sure Restrictions is not turned on.

ITunes rental won't play on new computer

I rented a movie three weeks ago. Last week, I bought a new-to-me (used) computer and transferred all my content to the new machine. I have purchased iTunes Match, and all my books and music and almost everything works. But when I tried to play my rented movie on the new computer, I got a message saying it wasn't authorized to play on this computer. It's the same Apple ID and all my other content works on the new machine.
Brilliant me, I thought I would just delete it and download it again since I haven't watched it. Now it's just gone.
Any ideas? I have another rented movie still in my rentals folder, but it won't play either.

Itune rentals won't play on Apple TV

all updates have been done on my iPad 2 and Apple TV. Can log in and it shows my Apple ID and lists it in computers. When I scroll down to rentals though, it doesn't show my movie there? What else can I try to do to be able to watch my movie? It is connected to our wifi and shows a good signal. I've turned on family sharing on my iPad. I downloaded a rental video, and every time I try to play it from the iPod function in my iPad it crashes. What's up with that? I just upgraded to the new IOS.

In which format have you published the output? Is it HTML 5 or MP4 Video format?
And, what kind of video is it? Is it recording done in captivate or have you inserted the video in ypur project?

I have never rented a movie in iTunes and tried to move it to my iPad, but according to the instructions on this website, you click on - Sync.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Drew how is that even possible? I use gift cards all the time, any time I've had insufficient funds iTunes will not allow the purchase, sights Insufficient funds and rejects the purchase. Any time I log into my account the money in that account appears in the upper left corner. If you're not seeing that then you have other issues. Anyway... Kneil is right you should be able to rip CDs you own to your iTunes library (regardless of your money matters with iTunes), then depending on how you set up the music you need to add it to your playlist and then sync it to your iPod. Did imported music ever work? How are you ripping or importing the music to iTunes? Are you using a compatible format?
Something else to look at-- It's possible your cable is defective, have you tried a new or different cable? Some of what your describing is a bad cable issue. Good luck, Cheers.

I've just updated iTunes to 10.3.1.55 and it won't now recognise my iPad or iPhone but does recognise my iPod

I've got Windows XP and have just upgrade iTunes to v10.3.1.55 and it won't now recognise my iPad when I connect it, nor my iPhone, but it does still recognise and sync my iPod Classic. I can see the iPad and iPhone in My Computer but they do not appear in my iTunes list on the left. Please does anyone have any ideas?

Asking me what I think is not what really matters here. What do you think? Do you want to wait for another update to iTunes in order to sync or backup your iPad again? That could be weeks down the road - no telling when it may be updated.

Here is something very simple to try. Quit iTunes and restart your computer. Then restart your iPad and try to sync/connect again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Itunes rental issue on iPad. What's the deal?

I rented a movie on itunes to download to a brand new ipad mini 16gm wifi only (non retina). The movie downloaded and then kept "processing" for about a half hour. Finally i clicked on the video app and it was there. I pressed play and it went to a black screen and then quit back to the video app menu. I clicked on the cloud and it said I already rented it and that i need to go to the doanloads to manage the download. HUH?! there is no download manager in itunes or the video app. I contacted Apple support and they credited my account with a free rental and told me to delete it from the ipad and start over. Unfotunately, it will not delete from the iPad and itunes keeps telling me that I already rented it and to check the downloads (which does not exist). I went to the apple store, which is near my house and they were confused as well. Tey couldnt figure it out and one emplyeee said he has had the same issue on his.
This has been an issue dating back to when I had an iPad 1. A web search shows this to be a common issue. So we have a Apple device that cannot function properly with an Apple program and server and this has been an issue since 2010. Am I the only one that thinks that is unacceptable?

Have yo checked in sys preferences under engery saver to see the length of time before your display sleeps? and if it is checked to dim the screen before sleeping? Also as the lighting in your room changes the ambient light sensor adjusts display and keyboard back lighting.

Episodes of a podcast which I see on iTunes won't transfer to the iPad. Why is this happening?

I have subscribed to a podcast called Polònia (by TV3) and I have applied the same settings as for all other podcasts I have working fine. I click on get all episodes and keep all unplayed episodes too, on Settings. Whenever I click on Sync, the episodes remaining for this podcast won't copy to the iPad, even if they show perfectly downloaded on iTunes. As a result, I can only get hold of this podcast downloading it from the iPad, BUT every time I sync with iTunes, the episodes downloaded via iPad on its own will disappear, as they get deleted when synchronising.
Can anybody help on this?

Shut down and restart the app...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the offending app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the app
