ITunes says I owe Over $30 In purchases
Last year I had bought some TV episodes for my friends and I using my credit card. A $20 tv season and and a few other episodes were downloaded. Then I switched computers.
When I come back, I want to purchase some songs and iTunes is telling me that my card was declined and that I owe 32 dollars! I was using a Greendot Card and when I called to see what was up I was told there was nothing wrong with my balance, so I'm convinced Itunes is wrongly charging me and I can't use the store anymore. Can anyone help me out with this?
I was not aware that any iTunes Store accepted Green Dot cards. Have you used this card successfully to purchase items from the iTunes Store in the past? If so, you'll need to contact the iTunes Store customer service department. Go to this web page:

select the iTunes Store Customer Service link for your country, choose the most applicable topic, and use the form at the bottom of the resulting web page to contact the iTunes Store.
If you've never used the Green Dot card before, it may indeed not be an accepted form of payment, in which case you will need to provide some other form of payment, one that the iTunes Store in your country says that they support.

iTunes says I have over 9GB free but when I sync it says I can't as i don't have enough storage and need another 1.3GB! it's driving me mad!! help!!
Check carefully. Perhaps you are trying to copy 9 GB plus 1.3 GB for a total of 10.3 GB. That would give you the message you see.

Itunes is saying I owe money when I don't. I didn't purchase anything. It says I owe around $40 for songs I never bought. I have itunes balance of $25. Now I can't use anything unless I enter a credit card. How can I cancel this?
You will have to pay the owed amount with a valid card that has money on it. Once that is done, change the card to none and then it will use your store credit on future purchases.

ITunes saying iPhone is over capacity
I have an iPhone 5 16GB and am running the latest version of iTunes on my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro. When I look at the usage section on my phone without it connected to the computer, it says I have 1.5GB available. But when I connect and sync it to the computer, the availability in 'usage' drops to 0 bytes and iTunes says the phone is over capacity by 253mb. Please Help!!!
ThanksI found the culprit in my case: after update to itunes 12 iPhone is X GB over the limit.
Check your sync settings for each type of content in the left sidebar. In my case I had sync turned off for everything but ringtones. After iTunes update for some reason the entire music library is set to sync with the phone. Turning it off reconciled the storage issue. Perhaps in your case it is some other new content marked for syncing. -
Why does itunes say i have over 700 photos on my phone but i really only have about 200?
I have a 4S running 8.1.1 and on itunes when i connect my phone it says i have 700+ pictures when in reality by camera roll has less than 200. I am connected to ICloud but I turned off all settings in the "Photos" section of the Icloud settings. I did sync all my photos that are on my phone on to IPhoto on my computer. Does ITunes count the pictures on IPhoto on my computer and my Camera roll to make over 700+ photos? That is the best guess i have and i think is unlikely. Help!

IPhone has 175 songs but iTunes says it has over 600 when plugged into computer
On my iPhone4:
In the Settings > General > About - My phone says it has 175 songs
When plugged into a Mac with iTunes my phone reports that it has 175 songs under the tab 'On This iPhone'
But, in the Summary tab, if you hover the mouse over the Audio area it says 665 songs.
My phone is nearly full and I think this must be the culprit because I don't store much on my phone. So I am trying to figure out if there is a Deleted Music folder somewhere? Why is iTunes reporting so much music on my phone.

I explained it most in my question but I am getting charged double for songs that I have already paid for and am not going to pay for twice because that is messed up. But I want to get some apps from the store and it wont let me because of $5.25. Who can I talk to about resolving this issue?
You're right, it would have been covered under warranty. But because of the user damage, chances are there's a 200-something dollar fee . If you explain to them that it had a defect previously, they might replace it for you at no charge. **MIGHT**. But they would have to believe that it had a defect previously.

I need help ok my itunes account is saying I owe them like $39.36 or something,anyways I dont have any credit cards because of some fraud with my name so at the moment I dont have billing information and I dont know what to do about this? Also It shows that I have a $25.00 dollar balance on my account and I cant seem to spend the $$. Now why cant itunes take the $25.00 off what I owe and then cancel out the remaining balance so I can download the music that I have paid for in full???

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -
I connected my iphone to iTunes and it erased my ringtones. It also makes me pay for my ringtones over again on the iTunes app, even though it says that I've already previously purchased the item.
I should mention that I also did a restore hoping that would solve the problem but it did not, and it was after this that I lost some of my music.

ITunes store saying I owe an outstanding ballance when I do not
So here is my problem, I purchased over 40 dollars worth of music today trough my iPad, which where I entered my billing info. Now when I try to purchase more music on the store on my PC, it says I owe an outstanding ballance.
This I do not owe, I even have proof on my banking statement that money was indeed taken from my account for the songs. I really don't know what apple is trying to pull here, this is not the first problem I have had with the iTunes store and to tell the truth it is getting tiresome.
And now it says: Credit card information cannot be processed at this time.
Anyway, has anyone elese had this problem? is it some sort of error on apples end? because really, I really enjoy apples products including and iPad I bought which I really didn't have money for.Did you have enough money in your account to cover the entire amount of the purchase, including sales taxes if any? Check your Purchase History and confirm. If you did have enough, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them.
Problems with credit card processing do crop up from time to time, some on Apple's end and some the fault of the credit card processing companies. With the huge load on Apple's servers from people downloading iOS4 yesterday, I'm not terribly surprised that problems have occurred.

So I Have moved over all my purchases and everything to an external hardrive. I did everything right and my itunes story works perfectly fine. However one of my podcasts (yugioh the abridged series) won't copy over along to the ipod saying its file type is not supported by the ipod. It only does this with the first 8 episodes (if you find it you will see them) one of which (the bbt movie) worked perfectly fine on my ipod before but now for some reason it won't. It also won't work on a few of the tv shows that are in hd and one music album that had american boy in it. I'm wondering what I can do to solve this problem. My itunes and my computer (windows vista operating system) is up to date and I have an ipod classic with plenty of room what should I do.
This doesn't work. The iOS4 upgrade has wiped out synchronization to Outlook to the phone and back. There are many threads on this here, and Apple has yet to address this issue.

If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account. -
So my itunes says that there is a problem with my itunes and i have to restore it but i have purchased ne songs through itunes on my ipod not through the computer so of course i would have to transfer purchases on my ipod to the computer before i restore it so it does not delete everyting and then i cant back them up. So i went to transfer purchases and It wouldent let me. So how do i transfer my purchases before i restore my ipod so i can back it uup so i dont lose everything. Thanks
